The ambience was great for tea. The.music.was great as was the tea. Would have liked one or 2 more savory food.options and would be nice to have an option for a second flavor of tea. Overall, was a great experience.

Charming location, lovely space, but poor quality tea experience overall. The tea sandwiches and dessert items were clearly made hours or even the day before. No crunch on the pastry, too sweet, or soggy texture from sitting too long. Otherwise, it was fine.

I was so looking forward to this, but was disappointed with the experience. Afternoon tea is served in an “alley” of the hotel where hotel guests can walk through with luggage and wearing jean shorts/athletic wear while you are having formal tea. The food was just average, nothing memorable. I felt very rushed as the wait staff brought us our bill and were turning tables over while we were still enjoying our desserts. The highlight of the experience was the woman who beautifully played the harp and sang. It was lovely. All in all it was just not the level of service/food/experience that I have had at other restaurants. IMO, I prefer/highly recommend the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons for a wonderful afternoon tea experience.

My wife and I have been to high tea all over the world and I would rank this between 3.0 and 3.5 primarily because of the food. The sandwiches, which is a misnomer, were very small and not so good. The tea was excellent though.

First time to have tea in Peacock Alley at the Willard. Lovely and they certainly do it up right - very much like what you find in the finest hotels in London. I hope to do this again with other friends.
