   We made reservations 1 week in advance for Mother's day brunch through open table. We paid the $50 deposit as required by Wilfs to secure our reservation. We paid with our Discover card. We arrived and were seated promptly. John, our server was exceptional. He was attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. Piano music playing as we we waited for our food. It was fabulous. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had the cinnamon french toast. We both were very pleased. My only objection was they would not accept my discover card as payment. I had another card so no worries about paying. Also, my $50 deposit was not taken off my bill. My card was charged. Now I get to play on the phone with Wilfs and Discover to figure out the charge. Other than that it was a fabulous outing. Always ask for John when reserving a table. He is the BEST!

   Loved the ambiance and the service. The people here are long term employees and they care which is refreshing. Food is quite good but we would have wished the steak was a little closer to medium rare(slightly overcooked). It was Mother's day so a very busy day when we went.

   We enjoyed the experience. The first impression with Jonathan was excellent. He made you feel welcome and was an excellent host. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The music was superb. The food was excellent. I'm not used to paying the prices and for a Saturday evening, there weren't many that did. Most of the people sitting close to the music in the lounge knew the musicians playing. By my count maybe 8-10 and then us three and another table of three. The only other diners were a couple of couples that sat in the dining room. On top of an expensive meal, there was a cover of $11.00/person in the lounge and $6.00 in the dining room. A minimum of $20.00/person for food and drink. The expensive food covered that quickly. I don't recall spending close to $40.00 for spaghetti in my life. It was excellent, but I've never spent that much for a single serving before. You paid for the ambiance, and that was fine. I'll go back for special occasions when I'm willing to spend $100.00/person with no alcoholic beverages. It was an enjoyable evening and I'm glad I experienced it. On one other note, you can only make reservations on open table, and there is a cancelation fee of $25.00 if you cancel. There is another $25.00 fee if you cancel the number of people in your reservation. I wouldn't do that again. The night we went, there were plenty of open tables.

    Our waitress was lovely but the owners were so unprofessional, coming up to our table and making rude comments and questions about our hometown and our daughter. I couldn’t tell if they were short staffed or just bad at what they do but service was incredibly slow. The food was mediocre to bad not what I was expecting at all. The place is loud, due to the live jazz music, but the band at least was very good. I was surprised the band played in the dining room, not the bar. They area is filled with homeless people so I was surprised they didn’t offer valet, as walking down the street to the parking lot felt very unsafe would not go again.

    Iconic and cozy! Wilf’s is my go to for a comfy, fun, and easy night out. The live jazz music is welcoming and relaxing. Douglass, the head waiter is always on top of his game. The drinks, wine and dinner thoughtfully and deliciously prepared.

    The food is delicious. My only complaint is that my family has dietary restrictions and there is very little we can order on either the bar menu, or the dinner menu. For anybody who can eat anything, they will not disappoint. Just wish they would make some adjustments in their menu and add items that accommodate special diets. The ambience is wonderful, a wall of windows, walls tastefully decorated with high quality live music and excellent.

    Great table side service of Caesar salad. Delicious salmon and duck specials capped off by bananas foster in a charming and elegant setting with talented piano jazz trio music. Will return for the bar area and a close up Jazz experience.

    We rediscovered Wilfs just before the pandemic. While a bit on the pricey side the ambiance, live jazz and the engaging table side preparation of signature dishes made it a family favorite for a fancy dinner out. Unfortunately our last several visits have fallen short on everything but high prices. Food quality and service has continued to decline. Our last bill topped $450 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 14. We shared two appetizers, enjoyed a nice bottle of pinot and kids had a single scoop of ice cream for dessert. Yes we selected three table side preparations and unfortunately they fell flat on presentation and final delivery. There seems to be a consistent pattern of missing ingredients and lack of flexibility on adjusting the offered menu. I dine out 3-5 times per week and will be putting Wilfs on the back bench once again for dining. Live jazz and a cocktail still an open door.

    800Wilf's is an outstanding place to eat for special occasions, like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc., or just for a special night out. On weekends there is a piano bar as well. We enjoy the music even as we dine in the main dining room. We've always had great food and outstanding service. Seating is in tall plush chairs so that we feel "private" even in the middle of the dining area. It's usually quite as well. Only once did we experience a noisy night, when there was a large party present. That is the exception not the rule. We do go during the week, so I don't know what the noise level is on the weekends.

    Two bowls (VERY small - I'd hate to see what their "cup" looks like) of clam chowder, a caesar salad for two, and 3 drink with tip was $120. Yikes! The food WAS pretty tasty - but far too expensive, I think.

    Fabulous service! Cioppino was excellent, along with the wine list, and the ambiance. The entertainment was extraordinary. Crab cakes could have been better with less filler and more crab!
