Portions were tiny. Food was good. I expected a bit more than a few bites of the hangar steak.

Enjoyed a nice dinner and cocktails. The blackened red fish and the ribs continue to be the family favorites. Great thing about dining at Wildwood on Saturday evening??? Half-price bottles of wine!!

Chicken was burned and dry with the smallest amount of sauce under it. Corn on the cob had a lot of corn silk which made me feel like I was eating hair. Swapped that meal out for a pecan crusted chicken and it lacked flavor. Hubby loved his Mac n cheese with steak though. I don’t need to go back

The evening was just off - initially the server was overly attentive and hovering only to disappear later when problems surfaced. Drinks and meal came out wrong- replacement for entree was a greasy appetizer. Visited several times before but I think it’s time to identify a new spot to hangout.

We all thought it was overpriced. Service was very good though. We have better restaurants closer to home .

The restaurant has decent service, but it was confusing that so many of the dishes were served with cilantro. The menu and restaurant don't state anything about being Tex-Mex or say anything about cilantro - but the chefs must really like it. Cilantro on the fries (?!?!?!), in the coleslaw (?!?!?!), in everything. If you don't like cilantro - don't go here. And the restaurant should actually be called a tex-mex restaurant.

Decided to try a new place for hubbys birthday. The atmosphere and decor is just what we like. Menu items were a little pricey to start. Our waitress was amazing! She was prompt and very attentive to us. We ordered the Shrimp with Bacon appetizers. The bacon wrapped shrimp were very hard and crispy. The Shrimp did not have any flavor to them. The different flavors were not mingling very well. We were offered another appetizer and tried the chicken wings. Much better than the Shrimp. The entrees were okay. My son ordered the Ribs & they were very tender and you can tell they were cooked in the oven. I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken, it really did not have much flavor. I also had the Cheese Poblano Grits, it did not taste or feel like there was much “grits” to this side. My husband ordered the Red Fish and it was served on a bed of shrimp risotto. That was good! For the price we expected more on flavor. We compare the prices to “Whiskey Cake” and was expecting a taste almost as good but we were sadly disappointed. Staff was friendly but if the taste is not there then we will not be able to visit again. Sorry just not for us.

Probably one of the best southern style meals I've had in years. I got the shrimp and grits and it was nothing less than amazing. My wife got the pecan crusted chicken which was also delicious. The skillet cornbread was very good as well. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is both welcoming and relaxing. They have a good whiskey list too. I highly recommend.

This was our second time to go. The first time, we thought it was amazing. This time, it is was just meh. The cornbread was dry; the smoky drink was so smoky it had burnt wood in it; the butternut squash soup was grainy. We are hoping it was just an off day.

For the price, the food was only acceptable. They did not show that we had reservations and a booth was all they had (difficult for 6 older adults).

We always enjoy dining here, but were somewhat disappointed with our visit this past
Saturday evening. My martini arrived full of olive juice after specifically telling our server that I did not want it "dirty." The special was described as Wagyu filet served over a potato cake with a mustard sauce. I asked twice to confirm it was a filet. Both times I was assured it was a filet....however, it was in fact, a strip. By the time it arrived, it was late and I did not want to endure the wait of sending it back for something else, so kept it. It was not a particularly good steak. On a positive note, we enjoyed a half-price bottle of wine (on Wednesday and Saturday) and my dining companion's ribs served with garlic parmesan fries and roasted corn on the cob were delicious. We are hopeful that future visits will turn out much better, as we have enjoyed all our previous dining at Wildwood.

The menus were sticky, not a great way to start a meal. Their cocktail menu is very limited. The food was good, not outstanding. I'd rank it somewhat similar to an Outback, better, but not by much.

We went on a Sunday night around 7. It was not very busy. Our server Jennifer was very knowledgeable when we asked her questions. Drinks have great prices. We had spinach dip, the bbq burger, and the smoked then fried chicken. Then finished off with the whiskey caramel poke cake. We left fat and happy!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Wildwood. I made a reservation for 5:30 on a Saturday night and we sat right down. Our drink orders were taken quickly and brought over just as quick. Our waiter gave us some great suggestions since it was our first visit. We stared with the wings appetizer. The waiter offered to split them between the buffalo and bbq so we could try both. We also had the wedge salad which always great! They added candied pecans (or walnuts-I’m not sure) which was a nice addition. I got the shrimp and risotto and my boyfriend got the chicken friend steak. Both were excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful first visit and I’m looking forward to going back!
