Wildwood Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
We went for brunch with our two kids. Not a child friendly brunch place. Not that many options for kids. The food was good but not exceptional. I loved the ambiance. It’s definitely geared towards a more mature audience, I.e shoppers at Wildwood shopping center. Nice place for a date or a quiet conversation
This continues to be my favorite restaurant, ever. My girlfriend and I celebrate our birthdays here every year and we are never disappointed. Over and above the excellent food and service, this restaurant gives us the time and space -- and low noise level -- to catch up on everything, without being rushed.
Small restaurant with a big heart . Food is BEST in the area. Chief is special! Everything seasonal and all fresh vegetables
With fresh herbs. Dining here is a culinary treat.!!!
Outstanding mixed drinks from the bar ! The Amish chicken is succulent but ask served with mashed potatoes rather than couscous for a special taste treat.
Scallops succulent ! Fresh beet salad delightful and pate is perfection . Desserts are not outstanding . Everything else is!!!!
They call themselves a 'neighborhood restaurant' and they are surely that, but they are also more than that. Their food is excellent, as is the service. The size of the restaurant is quite comfortable -- not too big, which does make it cozy / comfortable. We were here this time before attending a performance at the Strathmore Music Center. They are a perfect stop for that for us, coming up from Bethesda. We'll continue to come here often.
This is a great local restaurant. The food is always good and well prepared albeit expensive but at least there is value for your dollar. When the restaurant opened the goal was to create a local eatery of high quality and this was accomplished. Kudos to the Chef and Management for a great local dining place.
We had a lovely dinner tonight with good friends. My drink was delicious and I enjoyed my appetizer of Pumpkin Soup. My girlfriend had the same and liked it very much. My husband had the shrimp and thought it was really good.
My husband and I made a special request for dinner the day before our reservation. We asked the chef to prepare Duck Confit, which he did. It was wonderful! I don't know of many restaurants where the chef will do something like this.
I only wish I had had room for dessert!
Lunch with a friend. We sat in a booth and enjoyed a quiet, private conversation over fresh heirloom tomato salad with grilled salmon. A just-right healthy lunch in a restaurant where you can actually hear the person across from the table, and don't have to shout. Great service, too.
This was our fourth time to the Wildwood Kitchen. It is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Every dinner entre was prepared to perfection (salmon, scallops, bistro steak and mediteranium sea bass) with a unique flair. The desert, a chocolate mouse, is a regular on the menu and is rich and very tasty. We had the octupus appetizer, which was also a winner. The wine list is a bit pricey but has some nice selections. It is a small cozy place to enjoy a quiet dinner. The wait staff are congenial, friendly and knowledgeable. TO THERE.
