The food is always inventive and service attentive without being overbearing. One of my favorite places for both lunch and dinner.

Food was great but waited 48 min after being seated to get food while we were the first ones in the place. Other people who came later got food after.

Had a business/colleague dinner and it was the perfect spot! Ample free parking, off the beaten track so quiet, and very pretty inside. You would never know what a nice place this is given that it's in a strip shopping center. Upscale area, though. You won't be sorry!

Always a cut above. The crab cakes consisted of lump with very little filler otherwise and a flavor that conveyed the traditional taste with some interesting inflections. The 7 oz entree with its accompanying vegetables was enough for me. I will continue to go back when I am looking for a fine touch from the kitchen and a high quality performance.

Tucked in an upscale suburban strip mall near Democracy Boulevard, Wildwood Kitchen is a small restaurant with a full bar in the front with table and booth seating in the back half of the restaurant. It's not formal (no tablecloths) but it's suitable for a special occasion or for a business meeting, and you'd feel comfortable in jeans, polo shirt, sports jacket, or a dress (but ties would feel out of place).

For dinner, my wife and I chose a beet salad and a gazpacho (special) along with crab cakes (special), along with wine and a cocktail. All were very well prepared, delicious, and beautiful, and service was friendly, efficient, and not intrusive. We would both definitely return. Check the menu online ahead of time: they are standard fare at better restaurants (e.g., scallops, salmon, Amish chicken, steak au poivre) but have Mediterrean spins on them (e.g., tahini, pomegrante). While there should be something on the menu to please everyone, it's a short selection (just one page) so I wouldn't recommend it to finicky eaters (although I sense they can easily accommodate allergies).

This was our first visit to Wildwood Kitchen. The service was exceedingly pleasant and efficient, and the food was delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed sharing the beet salad and cauliflower appetizer. For entrees, we all ordered from the sea, and everyone was happy especially those of us who ordered the soft-shell crab special.

Another great meal at Wildwood. My husband had the sea bass and I had scallops - we both cleaned our plates. The lamb meatballs for appetizer were also delicious. A minor annoyance - after we heard the specials, my husband ordered the beef brisket, only to find out they ran out the night before. Then we ordered a bottle of wine that also was not available. After having to reorder twice, you would think they could have brought us a little something as an apology.

The only negative is the acoustics. The food was healthy and tasty. The staff was helpful without being in your face. the meal was attractively presented and the pricing was reasonable. I was there on a business lunch and will return with my family.

Wildwood Kitchen is an fine local restaurant and has a very pleasant atmosphere and staff. However, one must be a bit selective as some items are not up to the level of others.

Food was good, quiet place, nice ambiance. Service could be better. While the waiters are nice and friendly, they are not very attentive (for instance bringing bread without being asked or checking to see if anything else is needed by the guest). If one wants or needs something one will have to wait until one of the waiters is around the are, happens to look in the direction of one’s table and will need to be directly called.

Otherwise the food is very good and a very nice restaurant to go on a date, with a friend to catch up and even family however no children. It is a nice place for adults to dine without the distraction of children.

We went for a light lunch. Always have a nice Sancerre or CA Sauvignon blanc. Melon gazpacho was flavored with something middle eastern that I couldn’t identify. Tasted familiar and exotic. Puréed cucumber made it a lovely dark green. . The beet salad was served over a layer of tahini. Unusual but perfect combination. Very satisfying meatless lunch.

This restaurant is truly a neighborhood gem. My husband and I consistently find the food delicious and the service excellent. We dined last night (March 27, 2019) and met friends from out of town. We stayed longer than we should have as we were the last to leave. However, the manager was gracious. Bev our server was welcoming, informed and gave wonderful service to us. I could go to Wildwood Kitchen for the pumpkin soup alone. The roasted branzino was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chicken dish is always a favorite for my husband and our friends raved about the cauliflower. This casual restaurant which gives excellent service and serves outstanding food is a standout. It is also nice because there is never difficulty with parking.

Nice place for Girls' Night Out. As we had lots to catch up on, we did not order right away, but our waitress was patient and checked in at just the right times. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and bread until everyone in our group arrived. The restaurant was full and atmosphere lively but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other--we were seated in a booth, so that may have helped. The scallops were large and cooked perfectly; the others had halibut and salmon and seemed to enjoy their choices. I would definitely go back.

It's rare these days to find a restaurant where you can easily carry on a conversation with your companions, without paying too much for good food. At least for brunch, Wildwood Kitchen was fairly quiet, pleasant, and even though the brunch menu was fairly small, the brunch options were tasty.

Everything was delicious! The steak was well seasoned and the accompanying spinach and carrots were superb. I requested a keto friendly preparation of the food and substitute sides and the waitress was eager to help with no hesitation. It was pretty empty when we arrived but the dinner crowd picked up and it appears to be a popular spot. I would definitely eat here again and recommend this restaurant.
