Service can be great as we've experienced previously but was lackluster this visit. Our server seemed harried and dismissive when we tried to flag her attention to modify an order before the kitchen prepared it. She ignored us until we got up and went over and she then sent her manager over. When we explained to the manager what we needed, he was a bit testy. The food was great and when we told our server that, she replied, I would hope so. We were disappointed by the harried service but hopefully this was a one-off experience.

We found the foods are quite salty and asked for a dessert menu at the end. Waited for 10 minutes and waiter never came back with it so we just left without dessert

Nice spot, we were there on a quiet Monday for an early dinner, likely didn’t get the full experience. Food was excellent!

Located near UBC, with free underground parking available. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio although the interior space was well appointed. Excellent happy hour. Delicious Entreés. Too full for dessert. Attentive waitstaff.

Had the Crispy Mapo Tofu Bowl, and it was outstanding. I’m not someone that would ever order a veg dish at a restaurant but I will definitely get this again. Consistency of the noodles and tofu was perfect, and great flavours.

Decent spot to have dinner with friends or family, if a bit noisy. The acoustics are not brilliant which make it hard to be heard or hear what others are saying - this includes the wait staff, which can be problematic when trying to get their attention. Interesting menu, certainly quality ingredients, and the wines and cocktails are interesting. I personally found the sauce for the steak frites overpoweringly smokey and the limited desert options were trying too hard. All this considered, it is also a fairly expensive evening and I am not entirely sure it is worth it.
