Wildfire - Tysons
Book your next event with us
This was our first visit to Wildfire and we will surely return. We met our dear friends there for dinner. We shared the King's Cut of Prime Rib. It was perfectly cooked and just delicious. We had sides of mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes. They were also great. For dessert, we all shared one apple pie a la mode. It was even too much for four people. Had a great bottle of rose wine. All in all, it was a delightful experience and moderately priced for a steakhouse.
The food and the service were great. The tables are well spaced so conversation with our meal was easy
Epic fail! Go someplace else. Their website claims they safely cater to celiac disease and food allergies. We ordered GF items and made it clear it was for Celiac disease. Pizza tested contaminated using Nima sensor. We didn't eat the pizza, but something else was contaminated with gluten. Our son is now sick and uncomfortable.
Manager, Shawn, said they can't safely deliver food for celiac disease.
The only "gesture" was to not charge for the item (pizza) they took away because it tested positive for gluten.
Wildfire was excellent choice and salads were great and food delicious.
Not the best experience as my first night but certainly not the worst.
We have eaten at this restaurant many times but this was the worst experience we've had. They were very busy and it took a long time for our waiter to take care of us. Too much time between drinks, appetizers, and the meal. All of our party of 4 ordered filets medium rare. Two were properly prepared and two were not. My steak was medium well and I couldn't eat part of it because it was so tough. The scallop appetizer was delicious and the sides were all very good. Half our party had bad filets. Couldn't get the attention of a waiter to send the steak back.
The waiter was very attentive and the menu was extensive with both brunch and lunch menus. It was very noisy, especially, since a child at the table next to us was having a temper tantrum. It was hard to read the menu since the lighting was dim. We had eaten there before so there were no surprises. The staff was very efficient and well trained.
The brunch food was terrible. Barely warm. I expected more from what I thought was an upscale restaurant.
Very crowded, but service was still prompt, and Dan the bartender is fabulous.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Wildfire. We had a reservation and it was about 10 minutes later before we ere seated. There was a nice variety of food selection and prices. Our group ordered steak, salad, pork chops, and salmon. All very delicious. The service could have been better. We had to ask for drink refills, extra bread, straws, etc as the waitress did not come around very often.
It took way too long to get our meals. The food was overpriced by 50%. The ambiance was neat and we were seated promptly. Unfortunately given the quality of the food, we won’t be back.
Food and service were fabulous . The restaurant was packed yet our server was still very attentive!
First time at Wildfire, great ambiance, delicious food and large portions. The service was top notch, and our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Will definitely be back.
The experience was fine. Nice place, our waitress kind, but kept forgetting to bring items to the table.
The crab cake sandwich was great, no filler, all lump crab meat and a generous portion of crab meat, very fulfilling. The shrimp and crab bisque I give a thumbs down...very little to none crabmeat, shrimp were too hard, didn’t get much of a bisque taste, more so a vegetable soup taste. Roasted balsamic vegetables...another thumbs down, they didn’t have too much flavor as I hoped. They would be good on top of a steak but not as a side item. Service was ok, not the best, and not the worst. If I went back I would stick to just the crab cake sandwich and French fries, nothing more, nothing less
Wildfire is one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, we had an incompetent waitress this time. Aside from spending littlte time at our table, or checking on our satisfaction, she did not manage the timing of our courses. The entrees came out while we were eating our salads. We sent them back to the kitchen. Once we finished our salads, we sat for 10 minutes without our entrees. Our waitress was unaware they had been delivered and sent back. Once we informed her, she went in search of our entrees. They were delivered shortly thereafter. While they had a good flavor, they were lukewarm and unappetizing. We ended up just taking them home. Overall, our first unhappy experience at Wildfire.
My husband and I have been big fans of Wildfire for over a decade. Nothing beats their chopped salad! My husband loves the medallion trio, and I love the cod, but we are never disappointed when we deviate from our favorites.
Nothing we ordered was good. Over priced food. I will be coming back.
Service was excellent overall and the hostess was very attentive.
Had the best waiter ever! I wish i remembered his name but it was vday night and drinksssss were coming in heavy! Lol. Id recommend wildfire to any and everyone great all around experience
disappointed with the food.. Steak was overcooked Service was unattentive
They served me a piece of Cod that was old and when it arrived it was cold like it had been setting out for several minutes. The manager acknowledged the meal was inedible and asked me to pick another entree and when they brought the second entree out it was over cooked.
I made our reservation well in advance for a Valentines dinner with my wife and son. Our server was funny and attentive. Our appetizer, bacon wrapped scallops, was delicious. After one and a half hours, many glasses of water, and much asking about our order, and still without our entrees, we decided to leave and go to Five Guys. The manager was apologetic and offered to comp our entire meal, but we were tired of waiting and left the restaurant. I explained that I was not angry or frustrated, but rather disappointed. As this is not our first negative experience,we will not return to this restaurant.
Feb, 14th and food was great
V-Day! For being a “steak” place, the quality of the steaks was not that great.
This was my first time to go to Wildfire, a Galentine's Day out with some friends. The host was welcoming! I didn't know they had those more private side booth tables, because I would have otherwise requested for it. Our waitress was nice, but even after pointing out my allergies, brought the cornbread basket over, and which I started to eat (good thing conversation with my friends makes me a slow eater), only to find out it had ingredients that I'm allergic to. Of course, I immediately stopped consuming it, and then drank my glass of water (to flush out/minimize any reactions). The manager did come over to apologize which I appreciated. Fortunately, I don't go into anaphylactic shock or anything (just other unpleasantries not as severe). In those situations, it would have been nice to at least have me not pay for my meal (this is an upscale restaurant, right?), offer us a free dessert, or at the very least write off my soda? Just something for the restaurant to think about.
Our waiter was really nice and made our Valentine’s Day dinner really special!
The service and food were impeccable!! My family and I always share and each dish was incredible.
I loved this place. I think we found our new go to steakhouse 😊
Lots of better options out there. Entrees came while we were still enjoying our apps. Food was OK, but certainly nothing special. Certainly not worth $40 for lunch.
Terrible service. We waited too long for everything. Big loud table of men next to us. Two older women didn’t stand a chance
My companion’s steak was raw, then too well done (asked for medium rare). I couldn’t get a glass of wine, and he had no suggestions for a preferred red.
All in all a VERY disappointing dinner. I won’t go back again. 😒
I reserved a table for 2 a month ahead. We got seated at the bar, of all places. The calamari was actually very good and the food came out quickly. The server was polite and always there before we needed him however, for a steakhouse, they really can't cook a steak. I ordered my $50 steak medium and it came out well done. It was the saddest piece of meat that I've seen. I never send back food based on previous experience so I sat there wondering why I paid so much to sit at a bar eating a brick. I'm getting sad reliving this experience and keep wondering if I should have sent the food back. Wouldn't recommend coming. You could spend less money on better food than this place.
Very good food and great service. We had a group of 10. The table we were at was next to a walk-way. Four of us kept getting bumped and pushed by customers and wait staff. The noise level was also high, so that made it hard to talk to anyone but your neighbor.
We were there for my husband's birthday, but were a bit disappointed. The restaurant was out of baked potatoes for our steak and also out of whipped cream for our desserts. The broccoli wasn't fresh and wasn't warm. We usually love coming here for special occasions but don't think we're coming back. We like the atmosphere and the food, but it just wasn't a good night.
It was just a bad night. Lovely waitress, but forgetful when we asked for things like water, or extra sauce. All of our entree’s were cold, and even when reheated, they were still not hot. The manager was called over, and even though she comped each of us one free entree, we were not happy paying for the other meals which we didn’t enjoy there. We took them home to reheat for the next night. In fairness, we have been there other times when the food and service were excellent. It will be a while before we would want to dine there again.
My mother and I are regulars here. We ate here last Sunday and our waiter was very nice. I love their beets and goat cheese salad. We both ordered the chicken Moreno w/artichokes but this time our chicken was burnt to a crisp underneath and was not as tender as usual. My mother's plate barely had any artichokes on it. Usually this dish is much better. We should have sent it back but didn't want to wait so we made do and ate around the burnt pieces. We always get the apple tart with vanilla ice cream, it is always delicious. This is a great place to eat, lots of choices on the menu and this is the only time where they could have done a better job on the main entre. I will point out that when the restuarant is filled which is almost always it can become extremely loud and hard to hear each other. On this occasion we along with the people sitting at the next table from us could hear the group of guys sitting across from us drop a lot of F* bombs and other bad words. Good thing there were no children around at that time. Despite the minor hiccups, this is still a really good place to eat.
Nice place in the mall. Wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again. Wrong order at our table wasn’t handled very well by the restaurant.
Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Can't wait to eat there again.
