Came here on a Sunday for brunch. Excellent food (including the cornbread!), amazing service, chill ambience, and all around good experience.
Fabulous and great dining experience. Our waiter was superb
Always enjoy this restaurant. The food is very high quality and consistent. The privacy “club cars” are very nice for table conversation without excess ambient noise.
We took some friend for her birthday. We loved how they honored her with a dessert. She felt so special. The food was perfect.
First group there for lunch; got crowded very quickly tho! Waiter was great; let us visit for a bit before we ordered. Will definitely go back.
The place is tired. The staff is tired. The cooking is tired. What more needs to be said. The physical condition of the restaurant is that it is older, well-used and not the cleanest. The staff are kids who could really care less about anything other than a tip and a paycheck - - wholly unexciting. And the food is about as plain-jane and formulaic as one could imagine. The fries were so greasy they were inedible. They need to shut it down and reimagine a new place with some energy behind it.
Exceptional birthday dinner for my uncle. Food and Service were unbeatable.
I am a regular “patron “ of Wildfire Tysons Corner. Whenever I have guests in town or having night out with family, I always choose this restaurant. It’s guaranteed they will be happy and content with the meal. Service/food consistently excellent...never disappoint
we were given a great table, had great service and great food... as always!
Sabrina was an outstanding server; better than I've ever had!
Phenomenal experience, food and service! Thank you!
Very nice lunch special for $28.95 included a small soup, huge Cobb salad and a large piece of cheesecake with whipped cream. Other options were available for the same price. My dining companion had a generously sized pulled pork sandwich with cold slaw and French fries for ~16.95 (not sure of exact price). Service was very good; unobtrusive and unrushed but also attentive. This was my first time there for lunch and I would definitely return. Wish there was a location closer to me (I live outside Baltimore).
Great food, very good drinks and good service. Nice Ambiance.
I come to Wildfire a couple times a year and this last time was my first time coming for lunch instead of dinner. I’ve had the surf and turf multiple times, but this last time was quite disappointing. I had ordered my steak medium well and it came out well done. They brought another one out, but it was still a little over done. I didn’t care to wait for another steak so I just settled. For the price I’m paying for my steak I expect to get what I asked for. I don’t think I’ll order that again. Filet mignon is suppose to be tender and my steak was hard and chewy. The manager did end up giving us a free dessert, but I should have spoke up and explained how disappointed I was. Server also forgot our crab cake and she did end up bringing it out 15 minutes later and ended up putting in on the house. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I’m not sure why my food came that way. We also waited like 45 minutes for our food. A table next to us sat down 15-20 minutes after us and had their food way before us and left way sooner than us too. I hope the next time I decide to visit I have a good experience that I’m used to.
I love this place. The menu is fantastic...top to bottom. The service is excellent and the quality of the food is wonderful. The price is in line with what you get. I had the ribeye and it was delicious. My spouse had the tenderloin tips and equally delicious! I highly recommend going. And the desserts look amazing, though we didn't have room. Next time!
The service was good our Waitress was funny, very efficient, and helpful. The Filet was very good would not give it an excellent the broccoli was awful I understand it is steamed but drowned in some lemon and butter sauce and almost raw. My wife and I would not return to this restaurant.
Food and service were great. However, I ordered the coconut banana cream pie for desert. It looked amazing on the display tray. It took a while to bring it and it was obviously some combination of bananas, coconut some cream and some kind of cake. Definitely not cream pie and nowhere close to what the piece of cream pie looked like on the display. The waiter even said it wasn’t the same as on the display. Was a bit disappointed with that. Would have been better to tell me they were out of the banana coconut cream pie rather then try to make something at the last minute. I would have ordered something else. Other then that, everything was great.
Incredible experience. The restaurant was beautiful and pristine. Service was amazing, all the staff went above and beyond. Friendly, helpful and personable without being overbearing. We ordered a few appetizers to share as our meal and there wasn’t a single one that didn’t amaze us. The dessert tray looked delicious and we tried the caramel brittle pie, and was incredible as well!
Excellent food, service from our waiter-Tim and we truly enjoyed our table placement in one of the booths near the front.
I’ve e been here many times over the years and it has always been a great experience! I love the Sunday brunch! The steak and eggs are the best. Can’t wait to go back!
Our server, Clay, was excellent and really sold the whole experience. We were in town for a horse vaulting competition and a family celebration of birthdays and anniversaries and weren't able to find anywhere closer to Reston to celebrate with our family. Open table listed Wildfire as accepting our party of 12 and we booked even though we were nervous about the dress code with all of us being at a barn all day and 5 of the 12 being kids from 4-11 years old. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and well taken care of. The kids food came out quickly. The appetizers, meals and desserts were overall really good. The 3-way filet special was slightly overcooked to the requested medium but tasted delicious so we didn't mention it. Clay made great suggestions, listened to our requests and ran his butt off taking care of our family and we appreciated it greatly. It was a great way to celebrate together!
We had a Wildfire near us when we lived in Minnesota. It was our "go-to" for a fancier night out, with excellent steaks and seafood. This was our first try at the Tyson's Galleria location, and it was a disappointment. We were seated at a table back by the kitchen. The noise level was so high that we could not hear the music being pumped through speakers high in the overhead, and the location was drafty. There were no salt or pepper shakers at our table, so I took some from an empty table. The drinks were OK, but I had asked for a tall glass and received both my drinks in rocks glasses. I had a New York Strip. I asked for medium rare, but received a medium-grilled steak. It was about 10% inedible gristle. My wife ordered scallops - they were seared nicely, but were shrunken-looking and almost dry. My potatoes were very good; my wife's steamed broccoli florets were mostly cold and pale-looking. As I said earlier, the Eden Prairie location was a special treat for us when we lived in Minnesota; now that we are in Northern Virginia this particular Wildfire is off our list, and I would not recommend it.
Crowded seating, too noisy, and ok food. Too many other great options in the area to go back here.
My daughter's au gratin potatoes had a piece of plastic in it. When We brought this to the attention of management, they offered another serving which of course we did not want. No one in the group finished their potatoes because of the plastic. Then the manager offered deserts which we did not want because we were full and we did not have time to consume. The only offer made was to remove 1 side dish or appetizer from our check. Given the $500 plus cost of the meal, it seems that a greater offer should have been made
I always pick Wildfire for luncheons. Food is excellent and service is wonderful! We had a particularly excellent waitress yesterday. And Wildfire always accommodates our needs.
The food was excellent, and our waiter was very friendly and we food came fast!
Repeat visit to celebrate a birthday. Several guests had fish special which was a little overcooked. Service was impeccable though.
Very bad experience this time. My wife likes the Beef Wellington which is only available on Saturday's. We stated in our OpenTable reservation to please hold one. Unfortunately, the first one they brought our was over cooked, the second one was even worse. They said they could fix it but wound up cooking a Filet and trying to cover it with pastry. It was just plain bad. My meal, food wise, was okay but the entire night was a bust because of the problems and timing.
It's always a joy to dine at Wildfire. My wife suffers allergies and we appreciate that we never have to worry about mistakes being made in the kitchen. The chef is absolutely superb at accommodating food needs without compromising taste. The wait staff is excellent.
The food was good, from what I tasted.
Our server was very kind and professional but I did feel as if she was overwhelmed or could’ve used more help.
We had to order drinks more than once. My water was never refilled after we arrived. We had to search for her if we wanted to remind her about something else that was missing.
Just thought it could’ve been a little better.
It was SUPER loud. We couldn’t even talk across the table. Seated right next to the kitchen.
Kids loved their food.
Really lovely meal, upmarket, excellent service - would certainly return when in Washington next
The steaks are great (as always) and the sides are good as well. Service is attentive and prompt. Wildfire is at the top of the "mid-level" steak restaurants, in my view. Except for the ambiance, the Capital Grill and other "top-end" places aren't that much better, and are certainly more expensive. Wildfire is perfect for a casual meal. Just don't expect starched table cloths!
Good food well prepared, non-stingy cocktails! Get a booth. Bring your wallet--and your piggy bank 'cause it ain't cheap.
Great place for a working lunch. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. Food is great and prepared quickly. Still my go to working lunch spot.
It was simply perfect
Service and ambiance was very good, but food was a bit mediocre. Our waiter was very helpful, kind, and attentive. Food portions were generous, but flavor was a bit lacking. My bone in rib-eye steak was overcooked (wanted medium rare) and not flavorful. Baked potato was OK, but the sour cream was a bit curdled; not worth the extra cost. An OK experience but not up to par with its Chicago steakhouse pedigree.
Wildfire is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is delicious and the service is always good!
Appetizer came very late - manager comped it, so OK. Then rest of food came and my steak had no indications of the peppercorn crust or peppercorn sauce, was tough and underdone. My wife’s french dip was very fatty. Overall a poor meal, and we will not be returning. Over the past years we loved Wildfire. Not anymore.
Dining with friends.
