Let me start by saying we love Wildfire (just ask Clay) however two things were very upsetting on this visit. Our reservation was at 8 pm and we were in a sidecar. immediately behind us was a family with a very small child that babbled/screamed almost thru the entire meal. to say it was annoying was an understatement. There should be some provision for putting families with kids in one of the noise-er areas of the restaurant so they don't DISTURB other adult diners who are trying to relax after a long day. Why this kid was even out at 8pm is beyond me.
Also - our waitress (Jasmine) was exceedingly slow and not very attentive to refills, etc. Generally the servers are right on the ball - but she wasn't.
I'm sure this is a one-off - but restaurants - not just you all - need to deal with small children.....esp in a 40's-50's themed supper club environment. It is particularly annoying when parents just act impervious to the noise thier kids make.
Great food and service. Strong drinks! Delicious lamb chops and macadamia nut crusted halibut. Definitely coming back. 🧡
Dining at Wildfire is always a welcoming treat. The food is well prepared and the atmosphere is inviting.
Wildfire is my favorite restaurant and I try to steer my business clients there whenever possible.
Four members of my party were seated when I arrived for 1:00 Easter reservation. When I checked in I was told I was first to arrive and to wait as table was being readied. At 1:15 I sked again and the hostess said my party was already seated. They'd been waiting for me for me and my other two guest for 20 minutes.
The tables were so jam packed I couldn't make it into the empty seats at our table with out disturbing the guests at adjacent tables so everyone shifted seats down so we could sit. Won't be going again for a Holiday. Too bad.
Server did not bring out all food ordered--had to ask. Also felt rushed throughout meal; bill brought quickly without asking if we'd like dessert.
I would not recommend Wildfire to someone going there for Easter Brunch. First, even though we had a reservation and the restaurant wasn’t packed, we had to wait to get seated. All morning, I had been looking forward to the brunch menu and then when we were seated, we only received the dinner menu. The waitress told us that they would only be serving dinner all day. It would’ve been nice to know that in advance of sitting down or while we were waiting. For some reason, we didn’t find the food enjoyable at all — well below what we’ve come to experience at Wildfire. Our waitress was too laid back, forgot basic requests, and seemed to just want to churn out customers through the restaurant. The final straw was that we asked her where our names were on the wall and she had no clue what we were talking about. Wildfire is infamous for having patrons’ names lining the was in the restaurant. Never again will we dine here for Easter. The restaurant was not the best, at all. Hopefully, this is an aberration and not the result of something else.
Excellent service. We were there for Easter.
Good food, nice atmosphere, a little pricey, what's not to love?
Always hits it out of the park with their gluten free items!! Gluten free French onion soup hits the mark every time! Filet was perfect and the potatoes Au Gratin were creamy and delicious. As always service is excellent and at the ready when you need them!
food is very good- not superbly outstanding
price is very high: example 2 crab cakes with French fries = $42 ---- really??
Our dinner was for a special occasion and the setting, service, food and selections were exceptional. Thank you for making the celebration!
Food was delicious and service was perfect. Only problem was dessert - ice cream was soft and melted immediately - but they took it off the bill. Love this place!
It is like an old fashioned steak house. The food was very good and our waiter, Theo, was excellent. We look forward to going again soon.
Food was flavorless. Service was good but still will not go back for a second try. It simply wasn’t worth it. We ordered the seafood sampler with scallops, coconut shrimp, plank salmon and crab cake. Every bit of it was bland.
We went to brunch at Wildfire this past Saturday. Restaurant wasn't very full which was nice. Not sure what was going on as the lights were adjusted up and down several times. As far as food goes, the crab benedict was not as pictured on the sign - half the size of the crabcake in reality. Also the steak and eggs were not special. The steak was cooked rare vs med rare and had gristle in it. Not much flavor in the steak - looked like they just threw it on the grill. Eggs over easy were done right but didn't even have salt/pepper. Pancakes looked good. Overall mediocre brunch which is a surprise as we love dinner there.
Wildfire was awesome! We started with a party of 6, and kept adding to the reservation to a final count of 12. With every change, the staff was gracious and accommodating. Our server, Luis, was fantastic! We’re a large, noisy group, and had asked for several separate checks. Luis never missed a beat, made a mistake, or lost his sense of humor. He contributed greatly to an overall wonderful experience. And the food...everything was delicious, and cooked to perfection! I had the prime rib, the best I’ve had in years. We’ll definitely go back when we’re in the area again.
I've been to Wildfire many times and have always enjoyed the food. This visit I wasn't happy. Not exactly sure why. The food wasn't tasty. Was just ok. There wasn't anything wrong with the preparation or presentation. It just wasn't that good. The service was excellent. Our waiter was quick and attentive. Maybe my tastebuds were having an off night? I hope so as I enjoy Wildfire and was surprised that I didn't enjoy my food. My dining companion was happy with her entree and with the dessert she received for her birthday. We had a great time and will return.
A retirement get together.
This was our third time to Wildfire. We love the quiet and romantic booths. The food is great. Love the Monday night wine deal (some are 1/2 off). Great date night!
Request booth 20
Great food and service, complementary birthday dessert was a nice touch. This place is always great on a special occasssion or anytime we want good food and wine.
Everything was very good
It was a very good experience and the waiter celebrated my birthday with a free cake. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.
Family visiting from overseas.
Lunch crowd is very noisy, not used to wildfire being so loud. But everything was excellent as usual
A great dining experience between the service, meal and atmosphere!
Noisy restaurant. When I made my reservation, I asked for a quiet table because we are three older women whose hearing isn't very good. I reiterated this request when I arrived at the restaurant. Instead, we were seated next to a party of 12. We asked to move, but there "wasn't anything else available that is quiet." The manager comped us dessert which was very nice, but it was hard to hear our conversation.
We all had the scallops and they were very good. It is fairly expensive.
Cornbread is yummy. The small Wildfire chopped salad is enough for 2 & delicious!
We love the decor, the service and delicious food. The atmosphere is the thing that brings us back repeatedly. The soft jazz in the background allows quiet conversations, yet is pleasant. Attentive service, but without the hurry and high energy that spoils the atmosphere at too many other establishments
we took our grandson for his 6th Birthday. The childrens menu is very good and the staff brought him his dessert with a candle on it-so nice and special.
We were blessed to have Jasmine as our waitress. Such a great experience and customer service experience. The food was wonderful.
We were sat immediately; however, waited 15 minutes without being greeted by a waiter. After 20 minutes we left and went to another restaurant in the mall. Very disappointed in the service, or lack thereof.
Food and service were outstanding. We visit the area twice per year and always make plans to go to Wildfire.
The ambiance was nice, but the young man that took us to our seats never made eye contact or said anything. My steak was very nice, and we had a party of 10 celebrating my father's 75th birthday. Our waiter was nice and polite, but quite slow returning to the table and forgetting to ask for drink orders once he took appetizer orders. All-in-all, the experience was good, but I much prefer Eddie V's and Coastal Flats.
Took my mom out for her birthday and they were so accommodating. Gave us a nice quiet table and treated us well. The food and drinks were amazing. I got the SF pineapple coconut martini which was bomb. At the end, they brought my mom out a dessert which said happy birthday and included her name. Great night and I’m glad I chose wildfire to celebrate my moms 60th :)
We had a great time, the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful as we celebrated our parent's 55th wedding anniversary.
Wonderful experience- as always. I love being able to walk the mall afterward and just relax with hubby. I tried thr price fixe menu and that was well worth it. I had some leftovers for lunch at work that made everyone so jealous and it was just as delicious the 2nd time.
Great service and attention to allergies. Our server actually came back out to let us know that something my wife ordered had something she couldn't eat and had a suggestion for a substitute.
Wildfire is an excellent venue for business lunches and dinners. Serving staff is there when needed, unobtrusive when not, but always observant, and, always SMILING!
We had 5 people for my birthday celebration. The salads were as always delicious. We shared the beet salad and the chopped salad. Everyone enjoyed them both. Of course the cornbread was fabulous coming out hot and plentiful. We all decided to have prime rib which everyone enjoyed. We got the larger servings and shared which is more economical and does not lead one to eat too much. The Noise level in the dining room is high which makes it hard to enjoy the conversation at your table at times. That’s the only downside. The service was great food was great and all in all a lovely evening
