   Nice ambience and decor. Very attentive service. I ordered the baked halibut with garlic mashed and roasted veg; delicious and a generous portion. My wife ordered the burger and found it tasty. All in all a good experience.

   We have wanted to go to Wildfire for a while now and thought our anniversary would be a good reason to go. We both had ribs and our dinners were excellent. It wasn’t too noisy as many restaurants are on a Saturday night. It was pretty laid back. Loved the glassed in walls of wine. Great experience. Will go again!

   We were so pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Everything I ordered was excellent. We will be back for sure. One of the best meals I’ve had in Durham in years.

   My steak was over cooked then they took it back and it came back raw. My starter soup was cold. Went for my retirement dinner and the food was terrible. My husbands ribs were like packaged ribs

   A group of 5 of us had the Mother’s Day dinner. This was our first time dining at Wildfire. The food was delicious! Service was excellent; ambience great. The only setback was we felt a little rushed, but we did understand due to the amount of reservations that day. We will have to definitely go again for a quieter occasion.

    Not my first time at Wildfire Oshawa however, it was my first time going for mother's day. Our server George was very attentive and the restaurant was quite busy. I did wait too long to receive my entre but it was mother's day and our server notified us that the kitchen was behind. Once we received our entrees they were excellent the steak was cooked to perfection and hot. Can't complain about great food and great service.

    Our waiter Shawn was great and Nicole and Christiane our hostesses were so welcoming snd friendly. Best steak around - hands down. Will be back again soon.

    I visited Morton's Steakhouse a week prior to coming to Wildfire so I guess the bar was set really high. The steak was tasteless and very bland. This sides were much better but for the price I would expect more quality.

    It was recommended to try Wildfire and I am glad I followed through with it. Everything was flavourful and the Caesar was the best I have had! We will return again for sure.

    All 3 Steaks were not cooked to order, smashed potatoes cold, and boiled cabbage with a piece of red pepper for veg? So disappointed, had to ask 3x for coffee refills, and they werent busy. Hadnt been here in 2 years and def will never go back. Keg is far better food, service, value and quiet.

    Appetizer was great, beer was great, steak and sides were pretty disappointing. Garlic potatoes had a very sweet and unseasoned taste to them. Personally I will not come back.

    Unfortunately we were not pleased with the food this time. My husband ordered the best steak on the menu cooked medium well and it was burned so badly he barely ate half of it. The side vegetables were onions and peppers, just lacked in flavour and colour. We mentioned the steak to the waitress, who gave us one dessert on the house, and although that was nice, we won’t be back. It was nice to be able to bring our opened bottle of wine home. Staff were very friendly and accommodating but for the money we will choose The Keg next time.

    Went to this location last night and our food was very bad. Steak was either over cooked or under cooked. Side dish was cabbage and carrots and it wasn’t properly seasoned. Some of the carrots where raw or overcooked. Very disappointed, the joint managers were very underwhelming in their help as to why meal was so bad

    we arrived 5 minutes early and were immediately seated at a nice table for 2. Sean our server came over shortly and explained about the menu and drinks available. We ordered wine and looked over the menu. The wine came and our order was taken. The apps were OK and shortly after our steaks came.... they were very tasty and cooked well.

    Despite serving both of us raw uncooked meat, they did fix the issue with better cooked medium steaks. The place is great, but tables were greasy. Plates were greasy leads me to believe unclean practices in keep tables or plates greasy free. Was very scared of sending food back. I travel from Toronto to sample the menu, I would avoid cabbage as veg as plated with sauteed onions and red yellow peppers makes plate 10x more greasy... maybe some carrots or something green? Garlic mashed potatoes was cold. Overal over priced for this under show cased meal.

    We had fish and steak. Steak had to be returned overcooked. Fish was dry, the sides were a few slices of carrot and onions. Employees under staffed but the 2 on shift did a really great job attending to everyone!

    My daughter and husband had the New York sirloin and it was cooked to perfection! I had the panko crust haddock with garlic mashed potatoes & a veggie medley which I totally enjoyed. It was our first visit to Wildfire and we will definitely be back!!

    Meal was not ‘ok’ for the prices paid. Baked potatoes had lumps of ice cold butter which instantly cooled the potatoes. Mixed seasonal veg was 80% red onions, 20% carrot (not very imaginative)…steak was fine. Ambiance was horrible, couldn’t imagine a worst table. Back of restaurant, small table for two against the wall and a fire exit door. Bright lights, super noisy

    This was our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. The service was wonderful, thank you Shawn. All other staff members were friendly and created such a warm environment. The food was fantastic. Everything was cooked to order and tasted incredible. The portions were large, we left in post Christmas dinner state! Definitely skip lunch on Wildfire days! Our daughter, who loves crème Brulé, said it was the best she’s ever had. Made on site and you could tell! Don’t not hesitate to dine here.

    Wildfire has always been our favorite restaurant. However the last two times they have overcooked my husband's filet. This has never happened in all the years we have been coming. I think they may have a new chef. I used to come here at least once a month but we are thinking of trying the Keg again.

    Very disappointing experience. The food was not good -- baked haddock was frozen fillets with panko crumbs, very dry, no seasoning just blah. The chicken was also dry and not seasoned. The salmon had a strong fishy taste so definitely not fresh probably also just frozen fillet. Service was terrible with long waits for drinks and food courses, no water refills. Just an all round bad experience that cost way too much money. One of our group referred to the meal as expensive cafeteria food. Honestly think a cafeteria would have been better. Will not return.

    1 out of 3 meals were done right, unfortunate mistakes in the kitchen. One issue was resolved by sending the correct item later the other issue was not possible to resolve unless one is willing to wait and watch dinner company eat. Chicken, ribs and burger were all good. Ventilation over the grill may have an issue as it got smokey and caused us to cough. Great ambiance, nice server.
