First thing you notice is the noise in the dining room. We were lucky to get s table on the riverside patio which was much quieter. Food was pretty good, although the shrimp were over cooked. The service was friendly, although a bit slow.
Brought guests from Hawaii and they loved it!
If you are going for the view, it sits right in Columbia and there are huge windows allowing for beautiful vistas. The food, however, is mediocre. Our ried calamari arrived cold, had zero crispiness or flavor. Shrimp scampi was lukewarm. Scratch margaritas were good and bartenders are super friendly. Have a drink. Enjoy the view, go somewhere else to eat.
Casey, our server, is absolutely terrific!!!
We had family visiting from out of town and since we love the bar, we felt this would be great place for Sunday brunch. Scrambled eggs were warm on arrival (I had seen them sitting on warm hold place for at least 5 minutes). Chicken waffle chicken was excellent along with the grits. Fish and chips were mediocre. I felt serving them in the restaurant would be better the the outside walk up. In fact outside is way better. Server not so friendly and helpful
I ordered donuts and they never came (I wasn’t charged for them-we realized when we left we didn’t get them )
Great chowder; mediocre not fresh bacon salmon salad; cheap to not provide bread , pretty place
We have eaten at WildFin a number of times, and we have never been disappointed in any aspect of our dinning experiences. The food and service are always top notch. Our waiter this last time was Andrew, and he has served us before. He is a true professional who understands what attentive, yet unobtrusive, service is.
Excellent vegetarian choices and wonderful mocktail!
Great food! Excellent service. Next time I’d like to try sitting outside see if the noise is better.
By 8P it was pretty noisy, but lots of energy. Great food. Colin our server was outstanding.
Paid the maximum amount for parking and still got a ticket for $34.00. This needs to be fixed.
Very nice view of Columbia river from most of restaurant. Very open layout a bit loud for romantic dates or someone hard of hearing.
Was a great time! We had a table at a window overlooking the river. Appetizers, dinner and exceptional wine made for an awesome experience. Need to revisit soon! Very good wine list too!
Good food, good service
Got the only table without a view, so that wasn't factor. Food was VERY good and waitress was solicitous. When one order was late, she offered free chowder. It was very, very noisy near the kitchen.
Seating was outside on the patio. Noise level fine except when the Jets fly overhead--no way to change that.
Loved sharing several Starter plates with a friend
Excellent food in a beautiful setting on the Columbia River . A little spendy but the fish is so fresh, it's worth it. Best seafood restaurant I've been to in the Portland/Vancouver area.
Enjoyed riverside dining on the patio. The seafood Alfredo is truly amazing!
Wonderful experience bringing new friends to our amazing waterfront. Great food, exceptional service, and beautiful atmosphere and view.
Have been twice. Location and views are excellent. Nice ambiance but a little loud. Service was very good however food was unmemorable. Presentation was good but food simply lacked on flavor and complexity. Expected significantly better at the price point.
Great seafood and the service was good. To be fair, they were almost full so service cannot be perfect. The waitress was warm, friendly and helpful. My wife really enjoyed her seafood as did I. I also had French Onion soup with my meal. It tasted sweet and as if it were made from a mix. The soup was not recommended. The sound level was way to high to have a conversation. Not recommended for intimate occasions.
Food ordinary fish portion unaccestable. Pasta and fis quite good. service very good. doubt I will return for quite some time.
Food and drink were great but the highlight of the visit was our server Gretchen. She hosted us with wit and insight. She is a ten on a scale of 1 to 7. Her experience was evident and her candor refreshing. We would recommend this place solely because she works there. Way to go Gretchen!
Love this place! Great views of the river!
Our waiter seemed to have an attitude. We were served appetizer with no silverware. We had to get up and get the silverware ourself. I asked the waiter to take away the holder we found our silverware in and he huffed at me. He brought my husband his second beer but forgot my wine. We sat outside so maybe he thought no one was watching his performance. Tab was $180. Steep for four people.
Absolutely would recommend WildFin. I have been there for both lunch, happy hour and dinner. The noise level can get high in the late afternoon or dinner time, but during nice weather the noise isn't an issue of you can grab a table outside.
Our waiter David was very knowledgeable of the menu, and pairing our choices with a bottle of wine. He was very attentive but with a laid back comfortable vibe. The food was very good, freshly prepared and presented well.
It took over an hour to get our food. I realize that we were there at lunch time, but there must have been a problem, because at some point, someone with an iPad starting going around making marks/notes, comments on it and food began arriving at the tables around us that had been seated before us and then eventually us. Normally, I wouldn't write a comment, but if it had been a work day for me, and I went and had to wait so long, it would have been a problem. So perhaps, if you're tight for time, this isn't a good option.
Excellent service and really good choice of food. Scenic location.
Delicious food from appetizer to dessert! Very helpful server.
Had an awesome diner and drinks set the mood and then we went home and had a 3 some
Highly recommend reservations as it gets busy. Awesome food and service. Calamari appetizer took a little long to come out (especially when the table seated next to us got theirs within 5-10 min of ordering) and was a little greasy but everything else was fantastic. Drinks were also good
The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. We were also very disappointed in the service. It took a long time to get our food, and the waitstaff was inattentive.
It was ok, but we expected better. Why would the salmon mac and cheese not come with sides? Also the fish was overcooked and dry. The chowder was really good and so were the scallops but our main courses were just ok. Also for a $100 meal we expected the waitress to box our leftovers which did not happen and was disappointing.
I decided to choose this restaurant for dinner for me and my wife’s anniversary. I heard good things about them so we wanted to try it out. The service is amazing, the food is outstanding. I am very pleased and will DEFINITELY be back again. Thank you Wildfin!
We had attempted to eat at WildFin for months but couldn’t as it was always packed. We were finally able to get a reservation last weekend and were excited after reviewing the menu online. Upon being seated at the restaurant, our initial impression was good, as it has a beautiful view of the river and the interior decor was nice. Additionally, our server was very kind and prompt. My one complaint about ambiance is that a restaurant that charges higher end prices should not have servers dressed in jeans and casual shirts.
The problems began when ordering. WildFin does not allow substitutions for foods, even when requesting an item on the menu and offering to pay more. Once ordered, the food arrived in what can best be described as microwaveable dishes, with our $6 side salad in a glass mixing bowl with cheap silverware. The main course was small, which can be expected, but the halibut was rubbery and plain, definitely not seared as had been ordered. At the price they are charging, this was ridiculous.
Overall, the location and river views were great, but the food presentation and taste were poor, especially at that price point.
Awesome food and drink with above-average pricing. Wish reservation notes were shared with wait staff. We will be back!
Our gift card gave us trouble when we were leaving. The problem is with WildFin not Costco. We had to wait 30 minutes for everything to be taken care of.
Great Mac & cheese with spicy prawns. Big portion- enough for 2. Knowlegeable staff were able to assist my friend with beer choices.excellent deßerts too.
Beautiful summer night. Outside table with a great view. Excellent service and wonderful food as always. This is becoming our go to location.
