Great food, great service, great fun. Definitely going back!
This was our first time at Wild Finn; and it was our 56th wedding anniversary!
We were treated very well; got a table by the river window!
Michael ,our waiter, was GREAT!!
The food was very good!
Will definitely go back.
The waiter was unaware that it was my birthday or that I had dietary restrictions :-(
Our server helped make the experience worth it. Every bite was filled with excellent flavor.
Food in general was over cooked or too overpowering with onion or salt. I would not return here with so many other great restaurants that have amazing food and service to match, for this price.
Hope they improve!!’
Very good experience with friends. Drinks were a bit slow (both before dinner and coffee for dessert) otherwise a five star rating. A bit on the noisy side so visiting was a challenge.
Great new restaurant with a fantastic view of the Columbia River. The food and service were excellent. It was so nice to be able to walk along the pier after lunch. Loved it. We will be back.
Yes, I'd recommend Wildfin to a friend, in fact, I have! Fabulous service, atmosphere, food and view. Perfect!
I've been to Wildfin many times, this was likely my last. I have really enjoyed the scallops they serve, not on this night. They were just mediocre and for $32 that's not OK. Service was slow and as usually really loud atmosphere.
One of the best in Vancouver. Love the location. Your food is outstanding!
Lunch with a friend who doesn’t get out much due to disabilities.
Kai was wonderful!
If the chef ups the food game, this will be a great spot, but now it's a great view with drinks and mediocre food.
Great food and wonderful patio sitting on the river when the weather is nice. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was quite busy at the time.
Great waitress, almost too helpful.
Food is always good, service is very nice and location location location
Went to WildFin for a celebration with friends; service and food were really good.
Great food. Good atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
Our server ignored us after taking our order. Our food was delivered by someone else and our waitress never stopped by again to ask about our meal. I had to request our check from another server. I was extremely disappointed by our experience overall.
Server was unattentive and frankly didn’t think about her guests or their needs. We had to go to the bar (we were sitting at a high top table) and ask for a glass of water, and in spite of one of us asking what was ‘gluten-free’ on the menu (obviously indicating an allergy or intolerance), she served fries that were beer-battered with a bun-less burger. It was only because we inquired to the person who delivered our meals (different person than our server) about the fries that we found out about the batter, and then were offered different fries instead. Just a total lack of attention to detail. For the prices they charge, service should be much, much better!
Love this place and go as often as we can afford to. The food is amazing and the service is always outstanding! My only complaint would be how loud it is, but not anything that will keep us away. Best calamari and chowder we've had!
Our first time at the Wildfin and we just loved it. Had a great vibe when you walk in the door and being on the waterfront was great. We started out with Prawn ceviche tacos for an appetizer. The flavor was amazing, I would have ordered more. Our entree was a French Dip sandwich, the biggest I had ever had. Luckily we shared it. Very filling. The flavor was so good. The first time I didn't have to use the salt and pepper shakers. Our waiter was very attentive. Wish we lived nearby, this would be our favorite restaurant.
We were there on a beautiful evening and the view of the river was a wonderful addition to our experience. The server was attentive, the food and wine were excellent, and the timing of the arrival of each course was great. The noise level was pretty high--we both sat on the same side of the booth so we could hear each other, and that gave us both a view of the river. This isn't a "cheap night out" but the prices are consistent with quality and presentation of the food.
I had the seafood medley and he has crab stuffed cod. Both meals were excellent! Our server was very nice! We will be back!
Great service, good food/drinks, beautiful views. Enjoyed the patio seating.
Food was delicious, server was one of the nicest guys ever - friendly, very patient with questions and requests, seemed to honestly enjoy working there. We sat outside on the patio (a day with beautiful sunshine and blue skies), but might have done that even in cooler weather because the inside is SO noisy (all hard surfaces)--would have been difficult to carry on a conversation. "Breakfast" potatoes were a bit of a surprise - coated with something (not explained on the menu), not just roasted/pan fried. Highly recommend reservations for a weekend brunch... entire waterfront was a very busy place (but a great location to watch activity on the river).
It was my first time going to Wildfin. I enjoyed the whole experience.
I'm gluten intolerent and ordered a hamburger with a Udi's bun. When I took a bite of my burger I knew that it was not a gluten free bun, One bite is enough to destroy the villa in my intestine and will take at least six months of gluten free eating before it is restored. During this recovery I will suffer serious effects that could be life threatening, To say that I'm unhappy with this is a large understatement
We had a wonderful experience , brought friends for the first time...we will all be back!
Our first time....the place was slammed on a Wed. We had reservations and didn't have to wait long. Our waitress was great...she recommended the calamari, which we hesitated on..and she was right. It was perfect.
The dinner was good...not outstanding. I had a seafood platter of grilled salmon, which was excellent, grilled prawns..which were great and quarter size scallops..which were not even warm...the little tiny potatoes were great and also the asparagus. But, portions of those were very small. Had we not had the calamari...we would have been less than full.
The prices are high.....that's where I am not sure we got our money's worth. It is a good vibe, altho really loud/noisy...and the flavors were good. For 2 dinners, 2 glasses of wine and a cider and the calamari...over $125.
Don't really think we will return.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was and the bread was amazing and the vegetarian food for very good.
Nice location but food was not as good as expected. Salad was skimpy and wilted, had to order the bread separately (waited and it finally realized it wasn't showing up) and some things had too much salt. Need to have more a few more mains.
The salmon on my husband's salad was just a blob! It wasn't prepared properly. The woman at one table over said the same thing.
My "medium rare" meat was prepared rare on my wedge. My allergy to balsamic drizzle was ignored and the salad had to be prepared again.
This is the third time I've been to this restaurant. While it has a wonderful view and great ambiance, food preparation is lacking. By now I would expect this restaurant to have worked out all the kinks.
Regarding the choice of food, a few "vegan" dishes would be good. The chef did prepare a vegan dish for us, which was great, however a choice to choose from would be nice. Thank you.
We love WildFin. The food is amazing....we just had a problem with our Rosemary bread being frozen in the middle. Service could be a little faster but it won't stop us from coming.
The restaurant was noise hard to talk, food was good, the chairs were not comfortable
The venue is extremely loud, hard to hear your dining partner. Good was okay, but nothing special, prices are moderately high compared to what you get.
I ordered the halubut. $34.00 very small portion, side vegetables were almost cold. Service was slow. For a "seafood" restaurant the selection was small.
Would not eat there again.
we have went several times and always had a great experience but i have to say this time was a huge disappointment. was ignored for a few minutes when walked in all we needed was eye contact and acknowledgement that we will be right with u. once we eventually got seated it too 11 minutes for our server to great us with water, very unacceptable and not the norm for this place. food tasted great as usual but was not hot/warm my food was cool so again another disappointment. We have been coming here from the day they open and i feel things are not been sustained to that high standard as it was within the first 6 months. My husband and i love coming here for our date nights but might look around for another spot to add to our list for date nights. when i am spending 35 dollars for a meal i expect to be fairly warm/hot.
The food was to die for. Our waiter was also amazing. We came in at 4:30 and by 5:30 it was quite loud in there. Will be back and highly recommend.
From start to finish the food was incredible...A big plus for me is the open kitchen!!! If you have ever watched one of those food shows you will appreciate this!!!!
