Waiter was rude, food was just ok. A big disappointment because last visit we loved the dinner.
Celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at Wildfin and had a memorable meal and a fantastic evening. Was seated within 5 minutes of arriving and offered a great table with a beautiful view of the Columbia River. The food was outstanding! Our server was personable and knowledgeable. We will be back!
I really wanted to give WildFin an outstanding review all across the board, but unfortunately - could not. We have been to WildFin on a few occasions, as we are seafood lovers. And on September 10, my wife & I went to WildFin to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. When I made the reservations, I stated it was our anniversary. To our surprise, the hostess said nothing when she greeted us. And, sat us in the middle of the restaurant, when there were several tables by the window with a view of the river. We had to ask our server if it was possible to get a table by the window and she moved us (as it was also her station/area). The server was friendly and our food was excellent.... as my wife & I split a bottle of prosecco, had an appetizer, two meals, as well as splitting a dessert.... because, as I stated - it was our 25th anniversary. During our visit, we noticed tables near us that were celebrating birthday's and we witnessed those parties appearing to get a free dessert for their occasion. While we were not expecting it, we both commented to each other - we *must* be getting a free dessert too, because it is our 25th anniversary. Well, we did not. Just a handwritten note on our receipt stating "Happy Anniversary", as our server was fully aware it was our 25th anniversary. May I make a suggestion-- In the future, it would be a very small/kind gesture for couples with anniversaries to warmly greeted at the door with "Happy Anniversary", as well as receiving a free dessert for the occasion. Thank you for your consideration and for listening.
Kathy enjoyed the shrimp and scallops prepared in a light fettuccine sauce. I delighted in a seafood plate - a mix of seafood and veggies all grilled to perfection. A lovely Sunday dinner. Reservations a must.
Never disappointed after a meal here. Service and quality is reliable. Vancouver’s little secret, with great views.
We are from out of state and had researched options in the area. Wild fin looked interesting and we are so glad we chose it!
The food was excellent. But somehow we must have slipped through the cracks for whose table we were sitting at. The service was nonexistent for 20 minutes until we finally asked for a waiter. Even then it was slow. It’s a good thing no one was in a great hurry. I am sure this was unusual as we’ve never had this kind of experience here before.
We love this restaurant and come here often. Our only complaint is that it takes a very long time for anything to make it to the table. It’s usually a 15 minute wait for drinks and even longer between courses. Otherwise, it’s a great spot.
Food was great - service the worst we've ever had - the waiter paid absolutely no attention and was basically missing in action
Great waiter and wait staff. Collin was absolutely perfect!
We sat inside by the windows and had a great view of the river. Our waitress was very nice and our food came out in a timely manner.
Incredibly fresh seafood and exceptional local Northwest Wine list. Great waterfront location in Vancouver. Perfect for pre show before Sun mlight Amphitheater events. Mixed seafood grill and stuffed cod a highlight.
The outstanding view and ambiance of WildFin was somewhat marred by the lackluster food and service. Both the shrimp in my ceviche and the smoked salmon in my salad entree seemed less than fresh, though the lime marinade (ceviche) was tasty. As for service, there was a host near the front door, but she seemed glued to the phone, looking away from the customers who were entering. A pleasant person finally came to show us to our table. During the meal, our server abandoned us while we were hoping for a refill on our wine. Nothing too horrible, because she finally came back. But all in all, a less than "wow" dining experience to match the "wow" view.
David was a little late getting to our table. I teased him a little. He was sweet and turned out to be very fun and attentive. With great suggestions!
I would recommend trying Wildfin not so much for the food but for the location and atmosphere. The food was just ok. We had the calamari for an app. It’s chunky like chicken strips and in a soft breading. Wasn’t a fan. Also has the ribeye sandwich and that was ok too. I would try something else if we end up there again.
I love WildFin. My favorite restaurant. But the one thing is that it is so loud inside.
Great food. Rachel made our visit special
Had a great dinner here this weekend. Such a spectacular view and yummy food. Will certainly be returning.
We have enjoyed WildFin so much in the past so we were excited to take out-of-town visitors to eat there. It was perfect! The food and drinks were delicious, the service great and our friends thought the place was awesome also. Thank you WildFin for making this weekend so enjoyable.
We absolutely LOVE our local Wildfin in Tacoma so we were to find one in Vancouver while visiting our kids! Everything was perfect from the incredibly attentive servers to the gorgeous waterfront setting. The wine, appetizers and meals were out of this world delicious and our adult kids now have their favorite local restaurant... Wildfin Vancouver! Thanks for an unforgettable evening!
food amazing, service friendly, held our reservation ~15 minutes because we got stuck in the Saturday Market traffic... loved being out on the patio (inside is very noisy) - only reason not all five stars is that dirty dishes sat for a bit ...
Our waitress was horrible. Bad attitude. Smug. At 6:15pm on Saturday evening they were out of everything we tried to order. Even out of rose' wine but offered an extremely overpriced French wine instead. Salmon ordered MW, arrived cool and rare. When asked to correct it waitress seemed put out. My seafood platter had very little food albeit cooked correctly. Overall bad experience. Will not recommend to anyone.
We will definitely be back!
This was my second visit to Wildfin. Both times the service, food and setting have been very good. I will certainly be back.
This was my partner’s birthday. I asked that a dessert be served as a surprise at the end of the meal along with a candle. The hostess said no problem. The server was not informed and presented us with a dessert menu. Kind of disappointing but the food was good although the restaurant was noisy.
Very hot outside.
Reserved hightop table. Got a booth next to 5 very loud females. Couldn't carry on a conversation between me and my boyfriend. The booths have a semi divider, purses, napkins, utensils and menus kept coming over. Over all very loud. They changed the items on the tower. For $26 I wont make that mistake again.
The food was spot on yummy and our server was super friendly!
Food was good as usual but they need either more servers and/or bussers - service was not good!
Best seafood I have had in a long time. I am vVery pleased.
Food was outstanding and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We sat at one of the tables with a short divider with a different party right next to us. We felt that was distracting- hearing their conversations as close as if they were our conversations. That was the only downside to an otherwise great first experience at your restaurant. We will come back and just make sure to not sit at one of those tables.
I took my daughter for her birthday and we sat at a table in the bar, Great food and our server Derina was great! actually all the servers were.
Again, food and service were both outstanding. Noise level is not ideal but still would come back again.
We were seated immediately and the service and food were exceptional. Our server Aphena was attentive and helpful. They are lucky to have her!
Me and my friends agree that the calamari was a real crowd pleaser
Big disappointment. Took a friend for her birthday. They delivered small, unfinished salads to the table and didn’t even ask who had ordered what. Just plunked them down without a word and walked away. Had to send a salad back as it was lacking half the ingredients. Server had too many tables to be very attentive. They have become too big for themselves.
We were very underwhelmed.
Fish and chips was way too greasy; I had an upset stomach afterwards.
First thing you notice is the noise in the dining room. We were lucky to get s table on the riverside patio which was much quieter. Food was pretty good, although the shrimp were over cooked. The service was friendly, although a bit slow.
Brought guests from Hawaii and they loved it!
If you are going for the view, it sits right in Columbia and there are huge windows allowing for beautiful vistas. The food, however, is mediocre. Our ried calamari arrived cold, had zero crispiness or flavor. Shrimp scampi was lukewarm. Scratch margaritas were good and bartenders are super friendly. Have a drink. Enjoy the view, go somewhere else to eat.
