The “Wild” in our name is a nod to the wild yeast we use to prepare our slow-rising sourdough, which serves as the foundation for every pizza we make. Born from a “mother dough” formulated by our executive Chef Tin Vuong, and nurtured by him daily, our sourdough takes days to prepare; and we do it this way for a reason--it simply tastes better. When ready, the sourdough is hand-shaped by our pizzaiolos, topped fresh with local and responsibly-sourced ingredients and then blast-cooked in our wood-burning oven that was built brick-by-brick in Naples, Italy by Stefano Ferrara, a third-generation Neapolitan oven-builder.
The pasta wasn't as creamy as I expected it to be. The pizza was okay, not great though. Loved both the desserts that I ordered.
Kitchen was slow to get the food out but we overall had a good dining experience and was taken care of by our server Chance.
Loved it. Great happy hour beers. The pizza is fantastic. We got the Burrata pizza which rocked! My friend got the fried chicken and he raved about it. Very casual but really good service. Surprised that the noise level was reasonable and you could have a convo.
Their service and pizzas are what made this place stand out. They were able to accommodate our large group and let us remain in our seats for a quite a while. They were generous with endless mimosas.
The outdoor patio with heaters was comfortable even on a cold night. The happy hour menu is a good deal and we love the crust on the pizzas.
Wait person very friendly
Service very slow
One of the entrees never was served so we cancelled it
The pasta Bolognese had no flavor
The service person told the Mgr who offered to take our 2 iced teas off the bill
The garlic knots had no garlic, no flavor, weren’t fully cooked and served with cold sauce
The spicy sausage pizza and black cod were fabulous.
I thought our waitress was great! The food wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. Also, it’s expensive
This restaurant was recommended by a friend. The menu looked promising, brunch and pizza. Had no idea the pizza was going to be that good!!! wild mushroom pizza. Outstanding!
The offerings for DineLA sounded amazing so we chose this for one of our stops this time around. Unfortunately almost everything missed the the mark. The polenta fritters were very good but the sauce was excessively sweet. My wedge salad was great but my husband’s salt cod bruschetta was bland. My duck was under seasoned and dry. My husband’s spaghetti was okay but a little on the spicy side for him and too al denote for me. Dessert was excellent and the complementary glasses of wine were good (not always the case for a free glass of wine). Overall a somewhat disappointing meal for somewhere we’ve only ever had great meals from before. I’m chalking this one up to a bad night and hoping the time time we go they will back up to their usual standards.
Wonderful pizza. Sitting outdoors in January was lovely. It was quiet at lunch which made for easy conversation. All in all, a very good experience at a comfortable, cozy yet chic place. Definitely recommend it.
Loved it! Went for date night and it was a fantastic start to the evening. Food was great, service was wonderful. Cant wait to go back!
Good cozy neighborhood restaurant with delicious tasty fresh food. Interesting selections and flavors. Pleasant informal environment, good service, reasonable prices.
Pleasantly surprised. All 4 of us ordered different meals and the consensus was the chef batted .1000. We will be back.
Went for DineLA menu. Food was fine, somewhat duplicative items. Pizza was a highlight - sourdough crust was amazingly delicious.
Big negative was the service. “Freshly made” Iced tea was from the Bar fountain (not a problem except for the insistence that it was freshly made, then when asked after tasting it, said it was made “yesterday”). Tried to get a dollar’s worth of quarters for meter, waiter told us “we have no quarters here”. No problem if that is their policy, but say that and not that quarters aren’t allowed in that restaurant. No need to be dishonest, leaves guests felling yucky.
Pizza was a keeper but one and only visit for us.
Amazing pizza - the burrata pie is so delicious and flavorful - my favorite white pizza! Also best garlic knots I've ever had.
Small issue with being sat at my reserved time but I wasn’t bothered; gave me time to grab a drink before my friend arrived. Was able to sit outside on the patio with the heat lamps and it was very cozy.
Really nice spot. Good food and great, friendly service.
Perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends
Been here several times and it's always good. Great pizza! This visit the beet salad with added chicken, which was dry, didn't live up to expectations but won't deter me from going back.
Awesome brunch for 2 for $90. Had apps, a pizza, bottomless mimosas, etc. and were surprised when we got the check (it was all legit, just surprisingly affordable). Try the bacon / almond brussel sprouts... Erica was awesome and was around whenever we needed her but not too pushy which was ideal when trying to enjoy a bottomless mimosas. We come here all the time for dinner but we will be back for brunch for sure.
(We tell our friends about your pizzas all the time)
Great food but don’t be in a rush
Enjoyed a quick bite here on way home one night. Excellent pizza crust, cretive menu, garlic knots to die for, overall a very enjoyable Italian Bistro. Wish there was a bit more selections, but what they make they do well. A nice casual night out.
Truffle Pizza is always wonderful. Salad and vegetable portions are large. We shared the brussels sprouts, which was delicious. Happy hour wine prices are very reasonable of quality selection.
I went to Wildcraft on a Friday night. I had 6:45pm reservations and was seated right away. I started with the Fries of the moment which were truffle fries in addition to the rosemary bread and they both were delicious. We ordered the fried chicken, a mushroom truffle pizza and a pepperoni pizza as entrees. I really enjoyed this restaurant and will return in the future.
Enjoyed dining on the patio even though it was a rainy evening. We ordered pie of the day to share—thin crusted pizza with mushroom, shredded pork and cheese. Good size for 3 of us. Ordered salad, two pastas (bolonese and cavatappi). Serving size small for those dishes. Finished with cannoli , tasty and nicely presented with a candle to celebrate a birthday.
Joe was a great waiter - attentive and kind to my 86 year old father and great recommendations. Pizza was creative and delish. Oysters - garlic knots - bruschetta. All lovely. Great happy hour pricing!
The food here is wonderful and unique. Love going here
We had a great time! The food and staff were fabulous!
The food and drinks were excellent. The service was not the best but the waiter made up for it with a complimentary drink (I think there were understaffed at the time of the day). :)
Amazing food with good prices and great location. The servers have been and still are -eye rolling, can’t be bothered and no help kind servers. Wish they would bump up the skills here to hire a kind server!
Everything was fantastic for our large party. One server was not.
Would absolutely dine again just for the pizza and the pasta, which were fantastic. Other than that though, the mussels were fine but not my favorite broth and the beet salad had very few beets and they weren’t of the highest quality. Also the service was fairly slow and my grandma told the hostess to tell us that she was at the bar and they didn’t so we were at the table for 15 min not realizing she was already there!
Love the ambiance at Wildcraft! The Happy Hour is stellar...could easily OD on the Brussel sprouts, mussels and truffle fries! Are waiter was sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!
It's not the best place to go for a birthday dinner. The service was mediocre and the food takes a while to come out. Better to just get to-go from here if you like the food.
Food was good but service did not match. They had a big group and the arrangement was not ideal.
We ate here prior to a performance at the Kirk Douglas Theater. Love the look and ambience of the restaurant. We ate on the patio. Here are our take-aways: somewhat limited menu; great that there is a happy hour on Saturdays, 5pm-7pm:); Service we received was poor, seemed like we were forgotten about; food was very good. Not sure we will be back because of the service.
Really loved this place. Fast and friendly service and the food is very good.
Great pizza, meatballs, deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts. Broccolini was undercooked. Cannoli filling tasted mote like whipped cream than ricotta.
In this day and age, I find very few italian places that do not have at least one gluten free option in pasta or pizza, but this place had none. Also, after 15 minutes inhad to flag down a waiter since none came on their own.
