We’re a neighborhood restaurant in the historic Washington Building in Downtown Culver City, showcasing wood-fired sourdough pizza grounded in the Neapolitan craft yet embracing an inventive California culinary ethos.

The “Wild” in our name is a nod to the wild yeast we use to prepare our slow-rising sourdough, which serves as the foundation for every pizza we make. Born from a “mother dough” formulated by our executive Chef Tin Vuong, and nurtured by him daily, our sourdough takes days to prepare; and we do it this way for a reason--it simply tastes better. When ready, the sourdough is hand-shaped by our pizzaiolos, topped fresh with local and responsibly-sourced ingredients and then blast-cooked in our wood-burning oven that was built brick-by-brick in Naples, Italy by Stefano Ferrara, a third-generation Neapolitan oven-builder.

The food was delicious! Although my dish was sent out after my friends had already finished theirs. Also they were out of several wines.

One of our go to places when we’re in the area. They gave away our table despite having reservations, but quickly tried to make room and made up for it. Food was good. We always order the pie of moment even though it’s always the most bizarre thing. Good overall.

We have been here countless times. The chef is nothing short of amazing. She's so creative and outside the box. This time, we came for Happy Hour and had the mussels. $12 at HH instead of the usual $17 and they are GOOD. And it's the full order too! Also shared the pappardelle bolognese (homemade pasta, cooked al dente) and a black kale salad. All wonderful. This place is awesome.

This was a great summer night experience! Sat outside, had pizza and pastas for 9 people. Adults had some nice light beer and kids had blood orange lemonade. When you sit outside this place is quite nice for a relaxed family dinner.

Portions where great to share beet salad and Brussels sprouts. Our burrata pizza was okay, it was ‘chewy’? Our server was very attentive. Maybe better for happy hour occasion.

The food was very good and the service phenomenal. We were all enjoying ourselves until about halfway through our dinner when the restaurant kicked on some music that was cranked up so loudly that we had to yell to hear one another even though we were all sitting so close together across the table our knees were practically bumping. The dinner guests at the table next to us also began shouting to be heard, which only added to the cacophony. We gave up trying to enjoy our dinnertime conversation and left shortly thereafter. I probably won't dine here again, and I'd warn any friends to try to get seating outside if they wanted to try this place.

We dine here a few times a month. This time, our arugula and beet salad appetizer was not as tasty. The salad was severely overdressed and bitter, not a great combination. The spicy sausage pizza and Italian fried chicken were delicious.

Very good food and service ruined by filthy patio floor with visible dirt, grease and food remnants.
The patio is the largest seating/dining area in the restaurant. The floor needs to be steam cleaned immediately and could be easily clean regularly. Very disappointing given the good food and service.

The side dish carrots were undercooked. They needed at least another 10 minutes in the oven to caramelize. The peaches in the buratta appetizer special were not ripe enough making for a tart taste and an unappetizing texture. The Brussels sprouts were a disappointing sautéed slaw that I could have made with Trader Joe’s bagged pre-cut vegetables. It would be much better (and guaranteed popular) if Brussels sprouts are halved and pan fried Brussels to gold brown crispy perfection. The pepperoni pizza was decent but nothing special. All that said service was great and the waiter comped us a drink.

The pizza is simply put - incredible. It's the only place that serves pizza that I would travel for (I live about 30 minutes away from Wildcraft, Culver City. And, since I insist on a vegetable with every meal, they do a lovely carrot side dish that is unique in its seasoning. Beyond that, the drink elixirs are also splendid. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to dessert. I was stuffed.

Great pizza and food. Outdoor patio is very nice and the inside has a good vibe to it. Price is moderate... can quickly add up with a few drinks.

We wanted to like WildCraft and thought that our hiatus of several years and time to work the recipes, etc., would help. Alas. The pizza is heavy. You’re better served going to Victor, Jrs. or Roberta’s. Maybe the pasta is what keeps WC going?

I love this place but some how it always seems to disappoint. The management is too busy trying to be friends with everyone that they forget about customer service. Even with reservations we still managed getting the worse table inside. The service was slow and it wasn’t busy at all. It took for ever to get our appetizers and when we got our pizza it was warm-ish. The pizza and food is so good but the staff is what makes this place awful. Not to mention they were blasting classic rock inside while the manager was singing at the The top of his lungs....Which would be totally cool if that were going down at the rainbow room but it was 2pm on Father’s Day and my dad was not stoked. For the cost of their food they need to UP the service.

The only problem with Wildcraft is their service. The food is consistently great, but the service lately has been terrible. They either suffer from really bad management or are completely under staffed. It would make sense if they are under staffed because the servers that are there have attitudes, maybe because they are overworked. On top of it, we were there at 5pm and it was not super busy.

In any case, they need to pay particular attention to the service because it’s making us not want to go back and we really loved it there. I’m certain I’m not the only one who has experienced this.

They were out of bread, so no sandwiches could be made. Not sure why they wouldn't go to a local baker . In addition, the price is way overpriced for the food quality and quantity. Here you are paying for the location.

Horrible service. My fiancé and i were one of the first ones to order and everyone around us got their food before us. We ordered a pizza like everyone else and the waitress “forgot” to put our order in and kept making excuses. Never coming back even if you gave me a free meal. I hope y’all close down.

It is hard to find a place that is not deafening with great food and a pleasant staff. This provided all of that and more. Our guests were vegan. There were many choices for them and we could eat freely with a great choice of dishes. Great experience.

People with food allergies, beware! The restaurant lists items as vegan or vegetarian on their printed menus. However, we were informed by our waiter that several of the items we had requested could not in fact be made vegan or vegetarian, and that the restaurants menus were inaccurate. Such sloppiness and lack of care when serving food puts diners at serious risk.

In general the service and food were terrible. It was clear that they had overbooked parties for dinner and were trying to rush diners. The “risotto” was more like parboiled rice and my friends’ pizza was half cooked and slimy. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths, literally and figuratively. Though it may have once been good, the quality of this establishment currently is terrible. We will not be returning.
