Wild Sage American Bistro
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.
Inconsistent service and slightly sub par food as compared to expectations detracted from evening. Party of 5 had to wait for seemingly forever for the 5th of the party to receive his drink. No one wants to toast when not all are able! Food took a long time and my special sable fish was only slightly warm. Vey inconsistent evening.
Great food and service as always!
We had a great dining experience. Wild Sage is a leader in this region for fine food
This is really a wonderful dining experience. All the staff is great, very accommodating and very friendly.
The food is really wonderful. We had the Sable Fish and it was perfectly cooked and tasted great.
We have been there several times and will always go back.
Just a little disappointed this time. Usually consistency of quality is something one can count on. Not this time. The osso buco was not very tender and was lukewarm, as was the soup. Even knowing we needed to be out the door for a concert the waiter remained sluggish.
My friend and I ordered Osso Buco that was recommended by the very friendly waiter. It arrived and after eating a few bites I felt it had been out of the braising solution for at least a day and warmed up in a microwave as it was warm on the outside and cold in the middle. It was also very dry. The van driver from the Davenport hotel said that this was the best restaurant in Spokane. If he is right there is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial chef in Spokane to start a restaurant. I live in Yakima which is about 20% the size of Spokane and there are at least 5 restaurants that are significantly better than Wild Sage.
We took our adult children to the Wild Sage for dinner and it was a great experience. The food was excellent, wonderful flavors, and good portions. We ordered the Trout, Flank Steak, a regular burger and a vegiburger and all were well prepared. We started with a Chickpea appitizer which an interesting and very good start. And we finished with ice cream dessert and were surprised to have two scoops of our choice as opposed to one scoop you might get at other restaurants. We will definitely be returning. The Wild Sage definitely deserves its reputation as one of Spokane's best restaurants.
Fabulous as always!
The Wild Sage never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the service was wonderful. It was a little noisy upstairs where we ate, but it didn’t affect our dinner. It’s one of our favorite restaurants!
This is one of the best restaurants in Spokane. I always love going here.
So happy to have discovered this little gem. This restaurant restored my love for eating out. Everything on the menu is outstanding, which is possible because they don't have a large menu. This is the way to have a successful, quality restaurant. Service was impeccable, can't wait to return to the Spokane area to eat here again.
Extraordinary delicious creative food always. Great service. Delightful experience.
Food and service were fantastic. My fiancé is celiac and special attention was paid and questions asked pertaining to her needs. Will definitely return.
Pan fried oysters were awesome. Salmon was also very good though a bit underdone. Service was attentive but not over-bearing. The best restaurant in Spokane!
This is a fabulous restaurant!
The food is always fresh & tasty. The presentation is awesome, as well. The menu choices don't necessarily change much, though.
surpassed our expectations!
Fabulous night! Great food and amazing service!
Skip to paragraph 2 if you have no dietary restrictions.
I have sensitivities to dairy and egg. The Chefs and waiter were all attentive and courteous of my needs. Unfortunately when removing elements of flavor, the dishes are lackluster. While I truly appreciate all of the measures taken to accommodate me, the value and flavor of the meal was quite diminished because of the lack of effort taken for allergy or vegan-friendly options to be just as stellar as the traditional dishes.
I enjoyed this restaurant twice before my food sensitivities weren't as severe, and I would still recommend it to diners without dietary restrictions. The popovers and flavored butter alone make the experience fantastic and the dishes are wonderful when they can be fully enjoyed.
We had family from L.A. who are world travelers and fairly serious foodies. I know their expectations for anything in Spokane were low compared to L.A. Wild Sage put that to rest is short order. Everything was excellent. Food, service, wine, price. Bam! We all shared and sampled, everyone had something different. Across the board, outstanding. Don't mind me and my smug smile..... ;).
This is our “go to” restaurant and NEVER disappoints! The servers are very quick, excellent in explaining the food and make the meal a VERY worthwhile experience.
The food has complex layers of AMAZING flavor that are sublime. Killer popovers! To die for cocktails. You feel special when there!
The most delicious meal I've had since moving to Spokane 8 years ago.
Best restaurant in the area
The best gluten free options in town
Give them all your allergies and they will custom make something for you
The gluten free desserts are to die for!
Wild Sage has always been one of our favorite Spokane restaurants. The meals are fabulous, and the "Almost Favorite Coconut Cake" is definitely FAMOUS! If you have not tried this local treasure yet, you need to.
Great food with great service! The best restaurant in Spokane!
They were pretty much the only fine restaurant open on Monday, before Christmas (Wednesday). They were jam-packed so it took a bit longer between courses, but we did not mind since we were enjoying conversation with friends from out-of-town. The food was delicious, coctails great. We brought our wine, but they do have a good selection of wines.
Celebrating a birthday
The food, service and atmosphere was great! Thanks Landon!
We had a great experience hosting our work Christmas party at Wild Sage. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the space was perfect and removed for our event. Food was outstanding, and I’d recommend reaching out to WS for any larger party meals!
We are picky diners and this meal was superb! Well worth another visit to Spokane (from Missoula).
Every time we have been to Wild Sage it does not disappoint. The food is fabulous as the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!!
Excellent service and great food!
Everything was amazing - as usual
The food was superb. Service excellent. First time visit we will finally be back
Always great service with inventive food options. Great gluten free menu.
Highly recommend Wild Sage. Fresh fish, vegetables and desert. This place is every bit as good as the finer farm to table restaurants in Philly and London.
A little pricey, but so worth it! Hands down, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The crostini appetizer is a mind blower for sure! We can’t come back soon enough!!!!
Wild Sage has great ambiance and varied selection of gourmet dishes with an extensive wine list. We don't often splurge by going to such a fancy restaurant but have enjoyed our two visits to Wild Sage very much. The service is very professional.
Fantastic all around!
It was a wonderful meal! We'll definitely try to comeback the next time we're in Spokane.
