Wild Sage American Bistro
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.
OUTSTANDING. That’s all
Incredible food. Housemade jasmine and honey butter with delectable rolls that were absolutely unique. The entrees were amazing and the portions were just the right amount of filling without being too much or too little. An incredible gluten free menu for my girlfriend really made the experience that much better.
Most amazing food in Spokane hands down!
Absolutely love this place! Best GF menu, divine flavors, stellar customer service! I eat here every time I’m in Spokane.
Fantastic experience all the way around. All of us agreed that our meals were the best that we had eaten in a long time. Service and ambiance were also excellent.
Best waiter I’ve ever had. Exceptional attention to detail.
Amazing delicious food, with great customer service. Can't wait to return!
Great service and food. Nice atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants.
Fresh, delicious, and most innovative food in Spokane. Wait staff is always friendly and accommodating.
We had a wonderful time. Grayson our server was very nice . I love the lighting. The evening was romantic and enjoyable. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and delicious. The steelhead was luscious. The aromatics in the sauce were heavenly- light lemon with out bitterness nor sour. The pork and seed with Kimchi appetizer was a favorite for us. Fantastic! The blue cheese salad was one of the best I’ve had. The food is fresh full of flavor and not heavy with salt. The bread and butter were a treat. I highly recommend it.
Always a treat! Come to Spokane 3 to 4 times a year and always look forward to dinner at Wild Sage!
The scallops were excellent! Wife has celiac’s disease and the gluten-free options are amazing. I don’t normally eat dessert but couldn’t pass up the incredible options
We had a lovely time at Wild Sage. The dinners were delicious. We enjoyed our server, Annie. She was delightful. Thank you!
The server was great. He recommended the taquitos and they were yummy, very in fact. As for my scallops, they were presented beautifully but lacked in flavor -- which maybe I'll blame on the taquitos?! I mean, they were cooked well but seemed blah with blah sides. For $36, I expected more. I would skip this dish. I would also skip the coconut cake; the slice is HUGE but is not great... Surely not worth what imagine equates to about 1,000 calories. A strange combo of mild, dry cake with sweet frosting, unsweet cream "filling", and a very sweet passion fruit syrup that overpowers everything else on the plate. I've had some good coconut cake in my life and this was not it -- at all. Soon to be famous? Nopa, nopa, nopa. Not in my book. In fact I could easily put the fork down on this, and I'm a sweet toothed lady.
Bottom line: Maybe I just got the wrong combo of items and gave my palate fatigue?! Still, what is the big deal, y'all? Presentation, yes. But I eat food not art.
The waitstaff was attentive, the cocktails were divine, and the food was ... scrumptious!
Outstanding food and service delivered up on a consistent basis at this Spokane gem!
We always enjoy wild sage. Tried the duck wontons. Tasty but serving size should be 6. My guest had steelhead and crab and loved it. I had the scallops. Weren’t giant like on menu but certainly the number provided filled me. Great service and always select to sit on first floor.
The food was delicious. The waitress was most attentive. My husband just wasn't impressed with the atmosphere. I thought it was great.
We don't go out to eat very often, so it is critical that the food we get is better than we can make at home. This place certainly delivered on this. The food was amazing, the service was perfect - all in all, I would recommend this place to anybody!
Everything was great!
I ate here about a year ago and it was delicious with excellent service. This time, the food and service were subpar. I was so disappointed because I had been looking forward to coming back.
Delicious, Local ingredients and unique Menu.
Informed, knowledgeable professional wait staff.
My Entire Team’s go to in Spokane.
They Never Cease To Delight!
The mixture of flavors complement each other to create a new taste experience. Presentation is always top notch and I walked away full but not stuffed. Gluten free options and knowledge is a 10 out 10. This is our go to restaurant for celebration
Wild Sage is still as amazing as the last time I was there, many months ago. The food was so delicious from the polenta fries, pop overs with honey lavender butter, rainbow trout, creme brûlée, even the water tasted great. Our waiter was very gracious and engaging. It was clear he wanted us to have the best experience possible and we did.
Food is always excellent and innovative. Wines are good value and restaurant has a cosy ambiance. Service a little brisk
Food was great as always, have learned that for a quieter dining experience, sit on the lower level and sit upstairs for a more lively sounding experience. Either way, the food and the service are always amazing.
We went here for birthdays and it was restaurant week.
This was 3rd restaurant in Spokane that we went to for
Restaurant week and this one was certainly the best.
The other two were nothing compared with this one
the food was very good for five of the 6 of us, but the setting is weird considering the presentation and cost of the food. Rather like being in a local hang out for burgers, good craft beers & good wine. we all agreed we would recommend for the food, but not for ambiance.
Haven't eaten there for many years, but thought that everything was better than ever. Interesting food, well prepared, served professionally. Very high marks all around.
This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in Spokane and there are now several really good ones. Food and service are both top notch. Love eating here and highly recommend it to anyone,.
As usual, food, service & venue were outstanding!! I can recommend Wild Sage as the best restaurant in Spokane!!!
So delicious. The coconut cake is a must. It really should be famous.
We were lucky to score a reservation during Restaurant Week. Wild Sage is our all time favourite in Spokane. We sat upstairs in the new extension for the first time and it was a cosy area with maybe 7-8 small tables of happy diners. Service was efficient and friendly. For starters we shared a Wild Sage salad and the Char Siu Pork and Seeds. The salad: crisp leaves, sweet and piquant huckleberry dressing, very refreshing. The pork was tender and moist, lightly seasoned, the hot sweet mustard was a great condiment to balance the sweetness of the marinade. For mains, I had Cedar planked Columbia River Steelhead. Nicely done, not overcooked. Accompanying ancient grains pilaf was light and fluffy. My partner had the Creole Shrimp Arrabiata - kinda fancy (in a nice way) shrimp and grits. Loved the tender juicy shrimp and comforting parmesan polenta. We finished our meal with Goat Cheese Ice Cream and Creme Brulee. Of the two, the Goat Cheese Ice Cream was outstanding; creamy, just sweet enough, hint of saltiness. Altogether a fantastic meal.
Fabulous food every time we have eaten there for a very reasonable price and great service.
We love the Wild sage, the food and service has never disappointed us.
Always fabulous food and great for folks with allergies. The service is attentive without being too intrusive. The only downside this trip was that we were close to a window and it is cold outside, not much they could do about that. This remains one of my favorites.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We did the restaurant week menu and had the pork appetizer (excellent sweet hot mustard), and risotto balls with fontina cheese melted with risotto were also wonderful. My husband had the pork entree and I had the alder-plank steelhead- with a light salsa and sauce that completed the tender fish. The popovers and lavender butter were a light bread addition. We took home the chocolate cake for later. All in all an exceptional restaurant - food, service, ambiance. We will be back!
We visited Wild Sage during Inlander Restaurant Week and highly recommend it for the occasional night out where expense is no object. It is pricey but the food is wonderful. A special shout out to Sean (sp?) who was our server. He was friendly and knowledgeable and efficient.
The food at Wild Sage Bistro is excellent! I was completely amazed at how beautiful the presentation of the food was as well as the taste. The service was excellent and we had almost no wait time for a table.
We really enjoyed our meal at Wild Sage. Nice ambiance, great service, great food, great presentation. We sat upstairs, which was nice, but I prefer the look and feel downstairs.
