Bistro
Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

Excellent service, professional and really friendly. Our server made great suggestions. I went with my grown son who appreciates fine dining. It would be great for a date or dinner with close friends. Very cozy and comfortable. I loved that it was casual enough to have tacos but the ambiance gave you the feeling you were away from it all for a bit and somewhere special. The food was absolutely awesome. You could tell it was thoughtfully made. The portions were just right, but I still didn’t have room for dessert - would definitely have that next time.

As always, we had a lovely time at Wild Sage. It is one of our favorite restaurants in town, one we continue to come back to. We were celebrating a birthday and our server was perfect-attentive but not overwhelming. The cocktails, appetizers and wine were great. We were told when we ordered that one of the dishes takes a little longer-no problem, we were enjoying our time. Our server came to apologize because the kitchen felt it was taking a little too long. Again, no problem for us! After our meals were served, all excellent by the way, the chef came by to check in and apologize again...nice touch but still not an issue for us! The desserts were delicious and the truffles with a dessert certificate for a return visit was sweet (hahaha). Can you tell, we highly recommend Wild Sage? :)

Great food. We had a great evening, it was a bit too loud to hold a conversation at times.

This was the perfect spot for my husband’s birthday dinner!!! Food was divine- especially the burger(if you can fit it in your mouth!), salads, garbanzo bean cakes and OMG!!! The puffy round breads & lavender butter they start you out with?!Absolutely Heavenly! Outstanding service and visual presentation of dishes also contributed to our great date! Best of all? The cozy intimate feel of our Wild Sage experience! When we were too full for dessert, they surprised us with chocolates, a flaming candle & a gift card for dessert on our next visit!!! Who does that?! We adore WS!!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I need to eat GF, and the fact that they had a great GF menu sealed the deal. Cocktails are wonderful!

I had the beet and burrata salad and the duck confit, both were superb. The coconut layer cake with lilikoi sauce is to die for. Our waitress was very attentive and warm. I want to go back sometime to try other things. Nice atmosphere.

We were upstairs, which was very nice, but the downstairs appeared to have even a nicer atmosphere. Tremendous value during restaurant week. I had the duck, wife had the pork tenderloin and daughter had the steelhead. Everyone of us was tremendously impressed. The service was first class and extremely attentive with never giving the feeling of being intrusive. I will be back and recommend very highly to friends and family.

We love Wild Sage Bistro. The food is always amazing. This time I had the steelhead, which was probably the best I have ever had, hands down! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was great. Shawn was attentive without being intrusive. He had impeccable timing. This was our first time dining in the loft, which was fine, but not as nice as the downstairs. After being there for about 20 minutes, we had a cool draft coming along the wall, which never really went away. Besides that, everything was great. We'll definitely return!

Wonderful dinner at Spokane’s premier fine dining establishment! Restaurant Week menu affords diners the opportunity to sample multiple course without breaking the bank. Really nice selection of cocktails and wine (beer as well but our group did not sample) that are reasonably priced. May have to come back during RW to sample the rest of the menu.

Bring Friday night and restaurant week, the service was excellent as well as the food. Only one tiny slip up was my husband ordered the salad and got the soup but it was fine he didn’t really care so we didn’t mention it.
