   We had a reservation for four, confirmed and were sat seated at a table for three with a corner. When asked to change, it was too bad for you, rude hostess. It did not matter that all others didnt have reservations. This is being prepared? We wont try this again.

   The mrs had the 1/2 bq chicken and I had a two choice platter with brisket and sausage. The meal was outstanding! Our waiter was attentive but not overly, he had a very pleasant personality. There was live music that was great but for dinner it was a little too loud at times. Overall I would recommend this wonderful place!

   Food is overpriced but service was good. Some of the meat like sirloin and pulled pork were dry. Grits were dry as well. Enjoyed the wings. The biscuit and cornbread were not fully cooked so the server kindly removed them from our bill.

   The food was great!! The crispy brussel sprouts were amazing!!!! The brisket was so tender and had a great flavor!

   I enjoyed the eggs with brisket and a delicious side of cheesy grits. Nice portion, great smoke on the brisket. Bloody Mary was nice as well.

   Love this place it's a hole in the wall. That is in a big casino will always go back

   We had a 6pm reservation but didn't need it. There were only a few tables occupied. Been to Tropicana many times but never ventured up there to eat. It struck me funny that I expected a country atmosphere but found us listening to Usher and other pop/R&B music.... which I like but wasn't expecting in a smokehouse. We were seated a good 5 minutes before our server came over to take our drink order. We ordered dry rub wings for an appetizer. They were delicious. Cooked perfectly and great crunch. We got half rack of ribs and burger entrees. Green Goddess coleslaw was lacking flavor, extremely bland and disappointing. Ribs were just ok. No complaints on the burger and tots were hot and crunchy. We got dessert to go. It was supposed to be banana bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Thankfully we had a coupon for free dessert because when we got back to the room and opened it, it was mint chocolate chip ice cream 🤮 and the most dry and over cooked piece of banana bread I've ever encountered. The condiment bottles on the table were dirty and sauce was crusted over. Our server was nice but scarce. There were about 5 employees hanging out in the corner, not paying any attention to customers. People at the next table had to ask the busboy to get their waitress, we had to flag ours down a few times. Next time we will probably just get it to go and bring it up to the room and avoid all that.

   Visited on 2/21/25. I had dry rub wings, beans with pieces of cornbread and collard greens, all of which were good. We made a reservation but didn’t need it. The service was great. I think our waiters name was Chris. He was helpful and professional with a pleasant attitude.

   If you feel like being ignored, just ask for a high top table! Food was okay…service was definitely lacking.

    The buffalo cauliflower was deep fried and way over fried. The tator tots were overly deep fried. The crispy brussel sprouts were burnt and mushy. The meatless chicken sandwich was 2 veg chicken tenders slapped on a bun. My one son had a strawberry salad that was good. My ribs were good. I think if you were going for the meat or a salad, it was good. Otherwise- one and done.
