Really great tastes and innovative
As always, the food was impeccable – inventive and delicious, and the service was exceptional. I love this place!
Food and service were excellent. Great environment for a business lunch
The food was good. Our favorite were the duck rolls with plum sauce. I would go back again.
Kitchen seemed off and slow – we ordered 8 or more dishes and they arrived two at a time making for a long dinner. Half the dishes was nicely seasoned, the other half much too salty. Service was also off which could be due to the large party/table of 10-12 next to us – but the restaurant was rather empty... a somewhat disappointing experience.
As always, a perfect meal. Great wine, service, and food. Happy to have Wild Ginger in the neighborhood.
We took our 10-year-old daughter there. We loved the kids menu. The food was completely delicious and the staff was attentive and helpful. We always order the duck, but I also had the skewers the potstickers and a delicious lettuce cup entrée with black cod.
Food and staff were excellent! Love that parking is free in Amazon building after 4pm.
Wonderful food servic and atmosphere. Will be back soon!
Always amazing. Get the green beans.
Terrible customer service. Never again.
Perfect Valentine’s Day dinner!❤️
A female colleague and I, also a female, dropped in on February 14th, for lunch. The hostess assumed we were a couple (perhaps because it was Valentine's Day). It was awkward. I ordered an appetizer and we planned to share it. The hostess and a server were busy chatting and even though I tried to get their attention, I finally got up and got two plates so we could eat the appetizer.
My meal was flavorless and I did not eat it and my bill was adjusted. My colleagues meal, according to her, was great. Overall, nothing special and not worth the cost.
The reservation was offered with a Happy Hour special despite the reservation being at the end of the Happy Hour and having to have that made everyone excited even more. Sadly, it was not even mentioned by the receptionist nor the server and when asked just responded bluntly that it is over Happy Hour. Ended the topic there from that response. Also, asked for something that could represent sort of a cake or something of similar fashion as the get together was to send off a long time colleague. It was in the reservation notes and it was not even mentioned by the server.
Excellent service and food. Only complain is that the interior (concrete, glass etc.) does not absorb sounds so loud larger groups can really be hard to hear over.
Living up to Wild Gingers reputation for quality and service. The 45 minute express menu perfect for a business lunch.
Delicious food! We had potstickers, the 7 flavor beef, pineapple prawn curry, and Mongolian noodles. All delicious! Service was great and ambiance was lovely. Bottles of wine were all half off so enjoyed a nice french sauv blanc. Overall nice spot for a causal date night before a concert!
Such a great place for great food & great conversation.
The food was good, as usual. The restaurant was pretty busy the night we ate there, so service was friendly but slow. Each of our dishes came out separately and it would have been nice if they had come to our table closer together so we weren't eating only one thing at a time. But over all, it's a really nice place to dine and the fact that parking is free after 4:00 pm in the Amazon garage kitty-corner to the restaurant is a real plus.
I wish I could give much better review. Waited 15 mins to check in, hostess decided to set up waiting area table for dinner in plain view of 10+ guests waiting to check in, had to request different table (plenty available) then had to wait another 15 mins, got seated at table by the bathroom/service access (was told other table were reserved but no one showed), food was mediocre, some dishes were served at room temperature (chicken 65 & fried rice). The only highlight was friendly service staff.
Great waiter, great service. Food was yummy. Surprised that whole block isn’t hopping with young people dining out. Seems generational and a big bummer to the ethos of seattle if this town becomes a big Uber eats, Netflix at home culture.
Didn’t meet their SLA for the power lunch. Had to get the food to go. They comp’ed the lunch though.
Maybe it was an "off night"? I've been here many times and last night, it was just disappointing - except for the food, which was excellent as usual (and expected). It took over 10 minutes to get our drinks and then one (of three) entrees was delivered and another 10 minutes before the others turned up. If you ask if we want the courses together, then serve them together.
Great happy hour with a lovely server! My husband and I shared chicken satay, pot stickers, spicy chicken wings and a fantastic cabbage and chicken salad from the main menu. All delicious and filling. Drinks were affordable (I had the house Chardonnay—excellent, and my husband had the Tamarind Whiskey Sour, which he enjoyed—off the happy hour menu). Highly recommend for happy hour and you can’t beat the free parking at The Reinvent Garage on weekends from Amazon.
Preferred the other locations, food was different at this location. It was still good, but different than what we were used to at Wild Ginger.
This was my first time at the SLU location of Wild Ginger. Our server was very nice and appropriately attentive and the food was very good. My one complaint was that the food came out so fast! For a higher end restaurant like this, I don't think you should feel rushed. We were done and out the door not much more than an hour after we sat down. At these prices, I'd like a more leisurely pace.
Jordan like always makes the experience better. The entrees are amazing. I tried Chicken 65 today and it was tender and juicy. I love going here.
We were expecting Thai food and were surprised to find an Indian influenced menu. The peanut sauce for the chicken satay was bitter instead of sweet, the noodle dish had little flavor, the sea bass was fishy smelling and strange flavor.
The wait staff was friendly and nice, but scatter brained and kept forgetting what we ordered. Deliver me cool "hot Jasmin tea", forgot our main course, charged us full price for the happy hour appitizers...We were not impressed.
All of the food was extremely flavorful! Delicious!
I've been to downtown several times, but super bummed by SLU. Ambience is definitely not as good, and the attention to service was also not great. We had to flag down the manager to finally get our order in. They handled it well and apologized a lot. They also expedited our food, which is was nice. But it seemed like everytime we needed our server (paying the bill, etc), we were waiting quite a bit. It just did not feel like an upscale experience considering the prices and the reputation of the downtown location. We will not return.
After reading good reviews we thought it would be great. Unfortunately there was nothing spectacular about the menu, the butter chicken was nice but the duck was terrible - so tough that it did not come off the bone. Staff were lovely and credited our bill so not all was lost. The chicken satay was delicious.
Love this resturarant, great food , nice modern asian vibe and consistently great food!
Catching up with precious friends after 5 years of not seeing much of each other!
This was the best location of Wild Ginger I have visited because of the attentive staff and quality delicious food. The food portions are great and shareable among 2-4 people comfortably. Great value for the money and experience!
I hope all locations do something for Lunar New Year next year! I can’t wait!
Very accommodating and our waiter Oscar was fantastic.
With the rainy and cold weather on the day we went to lunch it was nice to have coat check. The food is very Delicious.
Make reservations!! If you don't you might not get a table as they fill up very quickly. The food is great
The food was bland and overpriced. Serving size left much to be desired. Not coming again and not recommending this place to anyone. Disappointing.
Loved coming here for my brothers birthday. Our server was fantastic and the food was amazing. Thank you Wild Ginger!
I have been going to Wild Ginger Restaurants for 20 years anyway and the DT Seattle location is my favorite. I would not be able to even count how many times I have been between there and Bellevue. I have even hosted 3 events in the Seattle Private Rooms. Needless to say I love this place and don’t mind paying the premium for great food and service. I constantly recommend the restaurant for visiting guests and business associates.
We are excited about the new location and in my 4 visits there they are looking to be as great as the other locations.

We were visiting for Thanksgiving and went to Wild Ginger on the day after Thanksgiving. It was a WONDERFUL experience! The food was outstanding, and the restaurant was so cozy and comfortable. We loved the black pepper scallops and the butter chicken. Highly recommend visiting this location. Very trendy, hip, and not overcrowded like the downtown location.
