Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle food scene since 1989 - serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, craft cocktails, and more. This location has a hip, modern vibe and an industrial feel complete with a large U-shaped bar, custom lighting, authentic artwork and décor (such as a beautiful multi-colored Indian wedding shawl), Indonesian wood and copper details, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, an outdoor patio, and more. Wild Ginger McKenzie is the best. The food is consistently good. We started going there when the 3rd avenue restaurant closed for various reasons. We adore our regular wait person Eddie. He truly is one of the reasons we frequent the restaurant. There is no one better. It’s a wonderful choice for everyone.

Absolutely fabulous waitstaff. Delightful, attentive (but not overbearing) Great food, although the 3 star Pad Thai was too mild. Rapid remedy - fish sauce with Thai chilies!

Wild ginger is always a great experience. Wonderful food with a good selection of choices. We prefer to eat their dishes family style so we can have a little bit of everything-it is all so good!!

A reliable place with a fusion of Asian food styles combined into appealing dishes. It can get crowded so reservations highly recommended. Had the duck and it was quite good, and their iced tea is a treat too. This is in a nice part of SLU area of Seattle and would recommend it. It is not cheap but food quality for price works.
