The special was a filet with tempura lobster and scallops. The filet was well-done and there was very little meat on the lobster. It was terrible and $42 for that entree alone.
Excellent service and food. We love Wild Ginger for its unique Asian food.
Wild Ginger is always consistently a perfect choice for fresh sushi and great service.
Superb food. Halibut special plus appetizers. Always an attentive dining experience. In the Franklin area there is no better restaurant.
Always a great experience!!
Super great food. Sushi platters were outstanding, service was great. Compt birthday dessert with candle !
Staff was very attentive, we sat on patio, weather was perfect. Food was excellent, and our server, I believe her name was Jane, had great suggestions and insight on food choices.
The food was amazing. I have already recommended it to friends and colleagues. If you love Asian-fusion, you will love this place! We tried several different appetizers and dinner choices and all were great. Kudos to the chef and servers.
Great food. The outside patio and live music provided great ambiance. Very good attentive service.
Love Wild Ginger. Lots of delicious options. A tad pricey but the portions are large and the food is very good.
Very loud, slow service, frozen fish for $28- otherwise great.
The food was amazing. Many options but still had an overall theme. The server was generally attentive and didn't make us wait, however he had next to no emotions.
As always, food was perfection
The food was very good, and we had great service. A wonderful choice to go for a good dinner. Our entrees and desserts had exceptional presentation.
Delicious food in a beautiful setting with great service.
We eat here often and it’s almost always very good. The Lobster Lobster roll is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is very nice both inside and on the patio. It is a little pricey for sushi but it is a better overall experience than the typical sushi place.
Was really loud and hard to talk. I love this restaurant. Wish it wasn't so loud. We had a hard time talking.
They took our reservation for 745 and then said we had to order immediately since the kitchen was closing. Why would they accept reservations so close to closing time. Felt very rushed. Server while trying not to seem like he was pushing us was pushing us to finish p.
Very flavorful! The food was entertaining with the variety of food they offer. We were eating off each other’s plates!
It was Mother’s Day. It was the first time the restaurant has ever done a Sunday buffet. They did an exceptional job with it.
I have a very strict diet which makes eating out almost impossible. The Wild Ginger staff went out of their way to come up with options that would work with my dietary restrictions. They came up with an awsome meal for me. The rest in our party enjoyed the Mother's Day Brunch. We highly recommend Wild Ginger.
We love visiting Wild Ginger on occasion. We chose to have Mother's Day brunch thinking it would be a great place for the whole family to enjoy some of our favorite sushi this year. The staff was very helpful in accommodating our group.
However, no one explained that it would be "buffet only" for everyone. Our 3 young children are not big eaters and we had planned to purchase a kids meal for 2 to split but were forced to pay $13 each + 20% gratuity for them to simply sit with us (basically $50 for 3 kids under the age of 10). Adult buffet was $25 and didn't even include a drink. Tough to justify 20% tip when the menu is already set for you and you go get your own food but that is beside the point. Don't misunderstand, the food was very good and the variety was great. We just came in expecting one thing and it was completely different, our meal ended up being about 2X as much as we were prepared for.
I did speak with a manager regarding our concern and he told us he would stop by to try to help us but the restaurant became very busy and we never saw him again, which is understandable. Probably best to make note somewhere prominent that these days will have a fixed menu and price for everyone in the party so folks are prepared or can make other plans with plenty of notice.
Again, we love Wild Ginger on every other day but this was unfortunate for our family and the meal was significantly more expensive than we were expecting. We will be back but probably not on Mothers Day.
There were 10 of us that celebrated Mother's Day at Wild Ginger. I didn't realize when I made the reservation on OpenTable (and perhaps I should have) that this year Wild Ginger decided to scrap the full menu in favor of a Sunday brunch. Normally, this wouldn't have been a big deal, but unfortunately, the food was just average. The waffles were cold and the biscuits cold and hard. In fairness, there were a few items on the brunch that were fresh and tasty, but given the number of very good Sunday brunch options in Brentwood and Franklin, Wild Ginger's attempt fell flat.
Disappointed about having a buffet. They were very accommodating about my food allergy. However I would have rather had been able to choose my own food from the menu..
I did not see Sunday as a brunch only menu on line. Overall, the non-sushi dishes were better. Although there were several sushi choices, they were all bland. With tax & tip, about $90 for 3 people. Prices were not obvious anywhere.
Good was excellent. Service was slim. Will go back
Normally we enjoy wild ginger. However, this time the service was confused and very slow. Food was OK, where normally it is excellent. Will give it one more try. But if it happens again, will not be back.
We love this restaurant and normally everything is great! We eat lunch here all the time.
Today we waited 45 minutes for our food! This has never happened before and we hope it was just a bad day.
The Maki C is a favorite! The edamame is delicious and saved us from starving to death today.
I got the sushi nigiri combo, it was delicious. They serve big pieces of fish on the sushi and nigiri. Definitely worth a visit!
Fresh, delicious and very different from the standard sushi fare.
Unfortunately the live music and general loudness of the main dining room the service staff were yelling just to be heard.
The food & waiter were awesome. The Hostess was not pleasant at all.
My only complaint was that we had a reservation but didn’t get seated until 40 minutes later after we told them we were going to leave.
We are regulars but this day the service was very poor
we love Wild Ginger, it is one of our consistent, go-to places for sushi and pan-asian inspired dishes. never a issue to speak of, always a vibrant scene, load, good for groups or date night. their selection of sushi entrees are excellent as are their other entree offerings. the only slight issue we had on this visit was I believe based on our having a 6 person group. we order tastings for the table that really needed plates and none were to be found. I had to ask another server if he could get us small plates. also, my wife ordered a second glass of wine which never came. I did notice that my bill already had a 20% gratuity added which I have to assume was due to the party size. I would definitely have left a tip but probably made a statement and kept it at 15-18%. I expect our server had more than the typical number of tables as it was very busy. we will be back, not to worry. It is a wonderful place.
Great good and experience as usual
Very fast and great service. Easy and fun Thursday night dinner.
Food, atmosphere, service, all great!
After many years of considering whether or not to go to Wild Ginger, we finally decided to go to celebrate a birthday. The food and service was great in the restaurant. We were very happy with the creativity and quality of our meals. The server explained everything very well. The specialty drinks from their menu were excellent. There was only one thing that caused us to be a little disappointed in the bar. We like to sit at the bar quite often to eat our meal, especially if the bar is nice. The bar at Wild Ginger is very nice and we liked it in there. Unfortunately, while sitting at the bar, the servers were bringing their dirty dishes to the bar and setting them on it. Several times, we had dirty dishes set right in front of us and left there until the bartender could remove them. This was very distasteful and caused us to sit in the restaurant, instead of eating in the bar.
