Wild Ginger - Franklin
Wild Ginger is a refreshingly distinct fine dining experience located at the heart of Cool Springs-featuring an eclectic blend of Pan-Asian, South American, and Western cuisine in the Pacific Rim style-with succulent selections for all palates, including the popular miso seabass, braised short rib, and a wide array of signature maki and tapas.
Though restaurants categorized as “fusion” are mostly located in trendy metropolitan areas like Miami and Manhattan, Wild Ginger is the first and only of its kind in Middle Tennessee.
This family-owned and operated restaurant’s perpetually growing popularity and devoted regular clientele make it essential for us to not just continually reinvent our menu, but more importantly, the entire dining experience. Wild Ginger is the perfect destination for a business lunch, romantic evening, or relaxing dinner with family and friends.

Our waiter Andy was great! Food was perfect and service was great!
Do not sit at the bar. Bartenders acted very unprofessional and discourteous. It was a shame as we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. Asked for check midway through appetizers and went to another restaurant. Very disappointed.
Always a good meal and enjoy the experience. Will definitely go back.
Great service and food!
Great food and atmosphere. The staff is excellent!
I have been going to wild Ginger for 15 years and have always celebrated birthdays there. I have never been charged a fee for bringing in an outside dessert. The manager was very rude when I was only asking for clarification so just be aware if you’re planning on celebrating a birthday there.
Austin was fantastic! The Komodo roll was delicious!
We will definitely be back to Wild Ginger. The presentations were fun and well done, flavors were varied and fabulous, and there were plenty of menu options. Appropriately priced for the food/flavors/ambiance combination. Great place for date night or even for a nice family dinner. It was busy but not bustling, snug but not cramped, and the flavors coming out of the kitchen all night were a reminder of what was to come (or what you could still order if you wanted more).
Nicely done - all around great experience.
good for a asian fusion. not a traditional asian food menu but the food was really good.
We do. NOt prefer to be seated in the bar. Slowest service ever!
Too loud way too loud
Very enjoyable. Lobster bisque was good but not great. Waiter was a bit overly friendly-I like my waiters to blend into the wallpaper. 😉
They were very busy and slow. Server was not very attentive, so we had to wait a long time before our order was ever taken.
This was my first visit to Wild Ginger. It was a great experience. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The portions are generous. The only possible criticism I would be able to make would be a hostess at the front door who was seemingly devoid of any personality. Her attitude of indifference was a disservice to the overall excellence of the restaurant and the great wait staff. That said, I will not allow her to deter me from visiting this restaurant again.
Best since covid started
Great food and great time.
Wild Ginger is always a pleasure and the food always unique.
The pink rice throws me because it's the exact same color as tuna tartare. Sushi was good and fresh, though. Presentation was nice. Ambience is good and servers are friendly.
Great food, amazing service! One of the best restaurants in Cool Springs!
Very pleasant surprise. First time visit, just wanted Sushi in Franklin area. Place had a really cool vibe, service was very good, food was excellent. Highly recommended, best Sushi place in the Brentwood/Franklin area in my opinion.
Food was fabulous as always. Our waiter was very attentive. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes!
Overall I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.
the presentation of food was beautiful. Definitely do a good job at preventing food. However presentation of food isn’t everything. The calamari was WAY too salty and extremely greasy. It was tough and chewy and not as tender as good quality calamari. Overcooked most likely.
The sushi rolls were priced around $24 each. And while they are definitely larger than average rolls, the taste was not anything special. I had the Koi roll and it was okay. It was so large I had to cut it in half and then it was falling apart. The flavors were very bland so I kept having to add wasabi and soy sauce.
The atmosphere was nice. Clean restaurant. Waiter was great at his job and personable and friendly.
Food was excellent. A little noisy- otherwise great experience.
The food was oh so delicious 😋 I really wanted to taste everything in the menu but my belly said to quit after the 3rd course 😆 the service attentive and he always checked on me. Only but , I made a reservation in advance and upon arrival they sat me in the bar area, which was a bit disappointing because probably there’s no need for a reservation in that area and as a traveling foodie I really wanted to feel the ambience - therefore why I made the reservation. But I understand not many places would give a good table to a “party of one”. All in all, it was a great night, the food was impeccable and if visiting the area again, will certainly go back 👏🏻🤙🏻
It’s always comfortable at Wild Ginger! They have an outstanding menu! The food is always great! Super sushi!
This was our first visit to Wild Ginger. We like sushi and thought we would give it a try while we were in town. The sushi wasn’t anything to write home about, the sashimi didn’t seem super fresh. Maybe people eat here for the cooked items? The fried rice was great. The most unfortunate part of our visit was the staff, the hostesses and wait staff looked miserable. What restaurant serves edamame without bringing out a dish for the shells? We had to use our side plates and the waiter looked put out after we asked for clean ones to eat our rolls off of. I definitely didn’t order a side of attitude.
Exceptional dinner. Outstanding service.
Excellent sushi. My only negative experience is that they charge $3 per person if you bring in outside dessert for a birthday. Unfortunate as we spent so much on the meal and drinks and we were unable to partake in the cookies I brought since they were from outside.
First time going and the food and drinks were excellent. The Hostess was nice but addressed as "Hey Guys...your table is ready" and the Bartender brought the wrong cocktail and it took a long time to get the correct one since the restaurant was slammed. Our server was very polite and overall it was a good experience. I will definitely be going again.
Always great food
The food was very good and service was good as well but one thing to note is that there is no bar area. We arrived there early to have a drink before dinner but weren’t able to. Luckily they were able to seat us when we arrived so it worked out okay.
My all time favorite restaurant. They are asking for more words, but Nuf Said!!
This is a favorite for my business lunches. Great selections on the menu for everyone, healthy portions and outstanding service.
We come to Wild Ginger frequently. It was our anniversary and naturally this was our choice for dinner. The ahi tuna sandwich was so chewy and not anywhere near the quality it once was. The sushi was not good either which is quite disappointing when you’re spending $22 for a signature roll. Very disappointing experience. Will not be back for quite some time.
Great service and food this afternoon for lunch! We’ve been twice and has been fantastic both times. Burger is incredible, ribeye is even better and definitely suggest substituting the bacon/potato hash with the ribeye!! We loved the Salmon and desserts too!
Austin was our server. Great attitude and personality. Always recommend this place and today was another reason to continue to do so!
Just really love their apps and sushi!
Excellent dinner at Wild Ginger. We had the Flamingo maki and tamarind shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous servings. The Kim Crawford Unoaked Chardonnay was a great pairing with them.
We had a great dinner with great service. We I’ll be back.
Had a reservation at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Once we were seated, we were immediately told that the kitchen would be closing and if we wanted food, we needed to order. This is absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse, while we were still eating, our server came over to our table and informed us that they would be closing. We were being rushed out of there. Mind you, we spent $415 for 3 people to eat dinner. Have to admit, I would expect better. Food was solid, but the overall experience left much to be desired. Lesson learned…
We tried 2 different sushi rolls and their Sea bass dish. Tasted very blend. Was surprised to see vegetables fried and there was enough rice to feed an entire village. Sushi didn’t taste fresh and didn’t have much of a taste to it and again plenty of rice. Way over priced for below average taste.
