Wild Ginger - Bellevue
Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle area since 1989. Our food originates in regions throughout Southeast Asia from China to Indonesia and beyond. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, our pungent oyster sauce, and more all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

Love it, always. Consistently good.
Delicious food—the scallops, Seven Flavor Beef, and Sian Lettuce cups were fabulous!
Food was overpriced, and nothing special. I love to pay $20 or more for an appetizer or an entree, because normally the taste is so mind blowing that it is worth it. This place had small portions, bland taste and very forgettable. In other words, not worth $20! Was also told by wait staff that portions were shareable size, but when food came it was filled with vegetables and sauce but light on the meat. We received more than any other food portion (white rice is $5 by the way!). Since I'm not from Seattle, it might be a regional difference and maybe the locals think this place is great (it was packed so that is saying something), but I will probably never come back whenever I visit the Seattle area again. Thankfully, Din Tai Fung saved the trip! That place was awesome!
Spring rolls to start were delicious but both of our noodle dishes were beyond bland. Appetizer + two entrees and tip was $75. I mean, it can’t be that hard to cook Pad Thai! Overpriced, but the service was strong.
The food was great and I loved the decor of the venue. The service was slower than usual do to a lot of people being at the restaurant in the early afternoon on a Sunday
I love WG!! The food and dining experience is always very good, always consistent; The chicken pot stickers and Satay are some of the best around; The Thai Chili Beef on the specials menu was awesome!! It’s kinda like a spicier-version of their popular 7-Flavor Beef; The only “issue” I have is the prices are a little on the high-side so it doesn’t get too-ratings for value; If it we’re a little less expensive, I would certainly eat there even more often then I do;
i thought the food was not good, very tasteless. Service was not good. Very slow even though there were not a lot of people there when I was there. I would not go back.
Great food and service. The cocktails were amazing too!
Lamb and Sichuan Green beans substacially over salted
Green curry was excellent and pad thai was quite good
It was a valentine day celebration. Your food is absolutely amazing our server was excellent everything was just spot on
I had a Valentine’s Day date planned with reservations. We were seated quickly but the table we were given was located about 3 feet from the check in table and close to the entrance door, making it extremely loud and uncomfortable. Food was okay but extremely overpriced. Our water sat empty and was not refilled in a timely manner. I will not be coming back here.
Grandkids love the chicken nuggets from kids' menu, but adults found them bland and dry. I asked if Chicken Chieu salad could be made without cilantro. Server said he'd check but never came back to report, just ordered it. It was way too spicy! Prawns and chicken wings were good. A bit noisy, but so were the grandkids. And it took a long time to get our food - at least 30 minutes, also not a great thing when there with kids (13, 10 & 7)
Our waiter forgot our starters. The ginger martini barely tasted like ginger. The food was just okay. Not really worth the money.
The new chef has brought in some great new items and spruced up some tried and true ones as well
The food was awesome
We went here for Galentines day. It was great fun. The cocktails are incredible. I actually think they are better than the food! Which was also very very good.
Valentines Day lunch. Service was on top of it. The food was good but not great. Recommend for parties if 4 or more so you can try multiple dishes family style. With only two of us, we didn’t the get variety.
We have been repeat customers over the years to Wild Ginger. We have not been impressed with the new location in Bellevue since they have moved from their old location in Bellevue. We have visited the Bellevue location a few times now and fail to be impressed with the change. The center tables are too small for any sort of family style dining. Food quality seems much better in the Seattle location. I will request a booth next time we choose to dine at this location in the future.
Wild Ginger has excellent food and fantastic service.
Der Service Typ war nicht besonders höflich. Er war unaufmerksam und wirkte überfordert. Das Bezahlen hat ewig gedauert.
All good but service a little slow and we add waited too long for our wine to come after ordering it.
Also The music was a bit loud so hard to have a quiet conversation.
Great meal, great service.
Excellent food - every dish was well prepared and presented.. We had the duck, scallops, sea food noodles, green curry, Princess Prawns, and beans..
Desserts were average, with the Malay cake and raspberry sorbet standing out.
We were is Seattle for a cheer convention, and our reservation changed from 4 to 6 to 10 people by the time we showed up. They were able to accommodate us all in no time (we were there around 9pm on a Saturday). Service was excellent and food was solid. I would come back for the green curry (thick!).
Restaurant very nice and full for the Lunar New Year. We were in a back booth which made the noise level tolerable. The food was very good, but the service was spectacular.
Always a great experience at Wild Ginger Bellevue!! One of few restaurants near and dear to my heart. Every item on the menu is a winner, you can't go wrong, but their satay is just incredible. 10/10, often do recommend ;)
Excellent food, with a wide variety of tastes. As always.
Average food. Poor service. Felt like it was a diner.
Service was incredibly slow. Wait staff was unresponsive. Food was fine but painful one hour wait.
Enjoyable lunch and service stellar. Ended up paying more than I’d expect for lunch but next time will order smarter.
Food here is fabulous; it is a great place to go when you want to share dishes. We sat in the bar and I'll never do that again - it is extremely noisy and conversation was difficult. Service was mostly very good except when our dessert arrived very late after ordering and a requested hot tea never showed.
Noisy fan blowing in the ceiling. Attentive service . Good food
Great food, friendly staff, very accommodating to all group sizes and amazing atmosphere
loved the food but the place as a bit hard to find. I don't want to write 50 characters so will hang up
I love Wild Ginger in Bellevue. We love the Siam lettuce cup, Hanoi tuna, green beans, & fish special with curry. But the best part about our evening was the service! Oh and they make the best drinks!
Overall very good food and ambiance. The service was great and the food arrived quickly. Only regret is that the vegetarian options are very limited so my wife did not have a lot to choose from.
We had an excellent meal with my brother and sister-in-law. We were able to order a variety of items to satisfy everyone. The server was attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
