Wild Ginger - Bellevue
Wild Ginger has been a staple in the Seattle area since 1989. Our food originates in regions throughout Southeast Asia from China to Indonesia and beyond. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, our pungent oyster sauce, and more all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

Wine selection and food was perfect. Very tasty and delicious
Great service and friendly atmosphere.
Everything was as ecpected!
Wild Ginger is a great place to chill and enjoy a meal with friends or to go on a date. I wish they had a few more Vegan/GF food options to choose from but overall it was great. It was a bit loud for a romantic dinner as the whole restaurant was packed. The service was AMAZING though.
Not what I expected this restaurant has really slipped
Lot of staff members
The lamb chops were delicious!
Food and service are both great. We always have a wonderful experience here.
As always the food, service, and overall ambience was incredible. Thank you for another incredible experience.
The food at Wild Ginger is amazingly delicious. All of our dishes were flavorful and delish. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Ankar Chicken, Seven Flavor Beef and Shrimp and Beef Fried Rice…each dish was tasty and spiced perfectly. And the wait staff were extremely professional.
Open windows and happy hour?! What’s not yo love.
I've been going to this place since the original location first opened near Post Alley. Menu hasn't changed much since then, but the quality of the food has tanked! Was hoping to relive fond memories of several dishes last night over dinner at the Bellevue location, but was sorely disappointed. The Seven Flavored Beef was tough and over sauced, Angor Wat Chicken was missing its peanuts, Mongolian Noodles were drenched with oil, and the green beans were mushy. Duck buns weren't as awful as the rest, but the meat was overcooked and badly over salted (as were all of the other dishes). Hopefully they can get their act back together, but until then I'm staying far away. On a positive note, the service was very good.
Super disappointed. Used to love this place. Food was underwhelming, no flavor or spices or too salty. The bathrooms were disgusting. Hoping it’s just a ‘COVID thing’. Really miss the old days of their food and ambiance.
Loved the food. Really yummy. Especially the Mongolian noodles and Indian butter chicken. Highly recommended
It has been months since we were there. You keep hearing about poor service these days BUT NOT at WILD GINGER. From first encounter till taking a 1/2 bottle of wine home IT WAS A GREAT EVENING.
The service was slow…food was awful. I got the duck and it was tough and salty. The papaya salad had no taste and the spring rolls were tiny and greasy. I was so excited for my ginger martini, but it was so watered down it tasted like nothing….we made a big mistake. The other reviews on this site were so misleading!!!
It has become a glorified PF Chang's...sad.
Roberto was a phenomenal server, good food and ambiance. Would recommend going here
Always wonderful food! Got seated quickly and efficiently.
Enjoyed the evening! Drinks are nice! Add more veggie options!
We used to go to the Seattle location for their duck buns many years ago. We moved away and wanted to go back. The Seattle location is closed, but we were able to get a spot at the Bellevue location.
We had the chicken satay (OK), the duck buns (very good), the garlic green beans (excellent) and the chicken pad thai (excellent).
The service and ambiance is very good.
Vegan options for the win
Ate here family style with 5 of my friends and we all found it delicious! The spice levels on the dishes we ordered were good (we all love the heat) and the options of meat and seafood were nice too. There were definitely no leftovers at the end of the meal!
It seems they hire staff that are eager to please! The food was wonderful and so glad 7 Element Soup is a permanent part of their menu now. We had a nice conversation with the manager, Paul.
It is so nice to be going to restaurants again. I am glad Wild Ginger survived!
Unique menu even in Civic cutbacks.
Everything was very tasty.
Easy parking despite center of town.
Delicious, on time, clean
Wonderful as usual. Our favorite restaurant in the Seattle area
Dinner with the team. Nice that it was loud in there because WE were loud and didn’t have to worry about others listening or us hearing others. The food was fantastic and it was nice to be back at Wild Ginger!
We were visiting from LA and needed a late reservation so we chose Wild Ginger. They seated us in a booth and was served water right away. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of items but the duck was by far my favorite. the other items we ordered were delicious too-seven flavor beef, Mongolian noodles (spicy but super tasty), Angkor chicken, string beans were all so delicious. Would definitely go back!!
We were in a room with two large parties that were quite loud so it was a little hard to hear each other. Service was outstanding. Unobtrusive but on top of it. Food is always great here. Especially the seven flavor beef. Excellent.
Good food; waiters seemed "new" rather than experienced; noise level was high beginning at 6 PM.
The potstickers were especially good. We also loved the Butter Chicken.
Wild Ginger has been a long favorite restaurant of ours for decades. The prior menu changes have been disappointing as some of our favorite dishes are no longer presented but I have to say the current menu is back to the versatile taste sensations that are unmatched. The seven flavor beef, Chilean sea bass, fragrant duck (best ever), and Nam's lambchops were all amazing. The Bellevue location was great with easy parking.
Food was outstanding and service was great. Good location and ambience.
I went here while on vacation with my family. I love Seattle and the food scene here now. Wild Ginger did not disappoint. The duck is amazing. We ordered the half portion but wish we would’ve gotten the whole portion. The sea bass was delicious. So flaky and flavorful. The bok Choy was very good. My sons ordered the Mongolian noodles. Another hit and the wagyu beef satay. Everything was incredible. The service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!
Wonderful experience! Enjoyed the food tremendously.
This was my first time in and it was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing drinks, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely one of the best Fried rices I've had in a while! Highly recommend
Ordered: chinese sausage & shrimp fried rice
Drink: Mango Mojito
Enjoyed the small plates to share (duck, 7 flavor beef and lettuce cups) and we also shared the prawns which were excellent. Both dessert choices were light and refreshing. Service was attentive and friendly
Wild Ginger has been a family favorite for 20 years. Again, the food was excellent and the service quick and professional.
The food was really awesome with nice ambiance. Lamb chops were great.
The service was friendly, helpful, & efficient. The food was so tastefully divine! This will be one of our go to restaurants for dinner.
