Don’t let the small dinner menu scare you away. There are a ton of specials even appetizers. I had a pistachio crusted soft shell crab on greens and it was amazing. The ribs with garlic mashed potatoes were excellent and the grouper and veal were also good. Large portions... You will not leave hungry. Our server, Amber was super nice and very helpful. We enjoyed our evening.

Wild Garlic is my go to restaurant in Tucson. Food and Service is exceptional and is the best in Tucson! I have never had anything but a great meal in this restaurant. Everyone I send to Wild Garlic always thanks me for the recommendation. This restaurant is a true treasure! Keep up the good work!!!

Foie gras was superb. Dinners were great. It’s just so darn noisy there. We made early dinner res to avoid the noise. It didn’t work.

A fine restaurant with well presented food, tasty, and with a good selection. The service and ambiance were excellent but as with most restaurants the noise level was too high for someone with hearing aids. That is a consideration for people like me.

We have been in Tucson for five days and tried a different restaurant every night. This by far is the best yet. Great ambience great location great food with all different flavors. I had the special sword fish fillet and my wife had the special bison tenderloin. Both were excellent Highly recommend this restaurant!

Have eaten here before and liked it quite well...the problem this time was service..I would guess they had some no show staff. Started out not enough silverware, long time to get wine. No bus boy to clear appetizer dishes so,when diner arrived waiter had to set them on another table and clear off...soo dinner was cooling off. Had to,have someone find waitress to get more wine. No one ever checked on us, never got refills for water. I felt bad...we had brought guests. Will be awhile before trying again.

We booked a table, and arrived at the restaurant. The valet parking was full, and so was the self parking area. We had to look for parking for some time. There was an event happening that evening next door. The owner did mention that they were promised parking for all reserved customers, but this did not happen.

The steak was not cooked to the required specification, so we sent it back and got a full refund plus a free dessert. The lamb shank was mediocre, definitely had better for cheaper at other restaurants. The plates are decorated beautifully but I would prefer they spend the time on making the food taste better.

The Creme Brulee was delicious, best part of the meal.

The waitress was friendly but definitely was not checking on us as much as needed. Often we were left with empty glasses. She also took a long time to get our order. Our guests arrived before us, and had bread, but when we arrived, no bread was provided for us.

We were very disappointed as we have seen so many great reviews for them. Nice venue and ambiance but food needs extra care.

Wild Garlic is hands down my favorite restaurant in Tucson. Every time I have company, we always bring our visitors there. The staff is amazing, the food is phenomenal and the restaurant is clean and beautiful. I love it!

Both service and food were exceptional. My wife has several significant food allergies (gluten, dairy, beans), but the menu choices were numerous and they found excellent ways to adjust most courses to accommodate. It was wonderful that many of the dishes were gluten-free, with no compromise in flavor/quality. As others mentioned, serving sizes were large, so we each were able to experience the other’s MSIN course the next evening.

Both of us picked entrees from the specials menu (which was extensive). He had half a deboned duck and I had the halibut. Both were delicious. Portions are quite generous. Both plates came with a hodgepodge of vegetables that were all fresh and prepared well, they tasted great but it was just too much. This is not a place you can have an appetizer before the entree. We left with half of each meal packed to go. Our waiter, Gabriel, was excellent. He knew the specials and menu options well and steered us to what we wanted. We will be back.

This was a first visit for me. I will absolutely return. The menu is extensive. I ordered the Scottish salmon that was a chef’s special. It was fabulous. Be prepared to come with an enormous appetite or take home some of your dinner. The portions are very generous.

Everything about our experience was great. Michael, our waiter, was great and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We were there for lunch which is as I have found, the best time to enjoy the ambiance and food. Dinner food is wonderful however the noise volume is not conducive to an enjoyable dinner. I have had dinner with my husband and dinner with my daughter and granddaughters and the noise and cramped seating was miserable for ourselves and, from what I observed challenging for the wait staff. I love the restaurant but will not do dinner unless it is a time of year when we can eat outside.

Food was very good, however portions were huge, plan accordingly!

There was nothing “gourmet” or creative, the vegetables & meats were well cooked.

This restaurant is basically an upscale grill.
Our waiter was quite pretentious & found ways to upcharge us.

Excellent food , service, quality and huge portions. Waiters first night and service was very good. Price was steep but for the portion size it was at least two meals worth.

Quality was to Notch. Flavor combinations were excellent. Will definitely return.

The selection was broader than most. And I liked the professional servers' approach. Where can I get educated service these days, where I learn from the server?

The grilled halibut was amazing. The blue cheese encrusted beef filet was cooked to perfect temperature. Extensive wine selection with good recommendations from our server.

I had never been and heard rave reviews. I was disappointed maybe my expectations were too high. It was good not great. We were seated in a bad table outside in front the door. Traffic was high and there were plenty of empties around. They didn’t need to use that spot. I had the Blue Prawns. They were tasty all 4 of them. That’s $7.50 per prawn if you are doing the math. My wife had the salmon. It was very good and large serving. Also went with the recommend Mt Lemmon runoff drink. That was a mess. Don’t do that. So 2 x Specials & 2 drinks with tip $120. Sorry it wasn’t that great.

If you are steak person make sure you know that the steak is charred on the exterior. My husband is not a fan of charred meat so he was disappointed. The rest of us enjoyed our meals. Come prepared for a $$$$ tab.

Overpriced, overly complex entrees served by a waiter, Jeff, who was unresponsive
and way too talkative. He rattled on about nothing and took forever to serve
our dinner. No way will we return. And this was our third time there.

I have not had such an exquisite dining experience since leaving Philadelphia nine years ago. The food was outstanding. The staff were professional. The ambience was upscale with a laid-back feel.

Had a nice dinner, really like dining in Tucson while snowbirds are away, so nice. Oh, there are only 5 tables in use right now so let’s pack them all into one small area of the restaurant! Why do restaurants continue to put us back to back when the whole thing is open? Anyway, though rly enjoyed the salmon, service was very good, will be back. But likely be more forceful about where they sit me.
