Enjoyed it as much (almost) as my party at the end of May! Great to be back. Sorry to miss Marcus. Thank you
Although it is an aesthetically pleasing environment, the food is very expensive and the taste does not respond to the price at all, unfortunately. There is noise from other people chatting and I guess I wouldn't go back necessarily. We had the burger with my friend and we didn't really enjoy it (salty, and a lack of flavour, while the bun was crumbling). The banoffee was good, but I would not pay such high prices for this. I'd love to see staff being a bit more casual as well.
Great food! Love the atmosphere! Love that it is very modern and they serve great cocktails too.
The food was great, especially the tacos for starters and the burger as a main. Really delicious. The service was friendly, attentive and prompt. Would wholeheartedly recommend and come back for great vegan food.
The food was nice but could have had a bit more flavour and seasoning. Also quite expensive considering I was pretty peckish when I left.
My advice would be to skip the dinner and instead visit this place for a juice and a dessert in the afternoon cos the dessert was 100% the best thing! Get the banoffee pie!
Very nice environment, peaceful decor. I had a delicious vegan revisit of a full English breakfast. I ordered a smoothie that had something in it that neither myself or my friend liked at all. I rarely do that but I asked if I could change by something else. They did but I think the waiter could have been nicer at doing it and not mentioning that "they never had any complaints before".
The service was friendly, but unfortunately there seemed to be a problem with the kitchen and our food was extremely slow to arrive. In addition, one of the plates was missing something that had been written on the menu, however with all the delay in service we didn't really want to mention it. My meal was excellent, and my parents who accompanied me enjoyed theirs as well, so hopefully they can speed up their kitchen times for a more positive future experience.
Tantalising food and wonderful presentation, as always. Heaven for people who avoid gluten, dairy and refined sugar. Their menu changes seasonally, so there are always new things to look forward to.
Great pancakes and lovely service but the banana bread was stale and we couldn’t eat it.
The ambience is really nice
The waitress very friendly and helpfull in suggesting the best food
The pizza is amazing and the desserts wonderful!
Disappointed in the food. Found it to be quite bland.
I can’t believe it but the food is even better than last time we came! Delicious, healthy, nourishing, energising, beautiful. Can’t recommend enough - my favourite place in town to go for a meal!
Disappointed because one of the starters and one of the main courses were not available out of an already limited menu.
Food wasn't as nice as o remembered it to be. Came earlier in the year for lunch, and really enjoyed everything we ordered.
Think there may be a summer menu in place now. Didn't enjoy very much. We were a table of 7 so had an array of dishes.
Also feel that the starters are rather over priced.
Still a lovely feel to the place with lovely staff, but don't think I will be back any time soon.
I really enjoyed Wild Food Café, the food is good, the place is beautiful, the staff very nice. I just found it a bit too price for ex. my juice was way too expensive for what it was as well as for the matcha latte, not that great for the price. However I had a lovely time there.
Small overpriced portions. The new quinoa salad bowl was TINY. Pizzas are however very filling.
Awesome healthy food as always - service a little slow for a quiet time. The quality here is better than the Wild Food Cafe in Covent Garden.
I think I just found my new fave hangout!
Food - awesome!
Service - on point!
Staff - faultless!
Music - made us randomly make moves while eating at the table!
We enjoyed our experience st the bright and cheerful Wild Food Cafe and the food was beautifully presented and served but the space is very noisy which made sociable conversation challenging at times. Service was excellent but some of the dishes, we felt, were lacking in flavour. Our dessert was tiny for the price and wine was very unusual - not in a good way, so we would not order any next visit.
Great night out, food was amazing! Go and enjoy their summer menu
Music was far too loud, especially considering there weren't many diners! For plant based food it was good however it's unfortunate that just because it's vegan it's overpriced.
Always delicious food and excellent service. Also the ambience is perfect.
Tasty, fresh, fun and beautiful backdrop. a plant lovers dream.
Loved it will go back to try more of the menu! - maybe more attentive staff and the music was too loud
Good décor and ambience - I had wanted to try out the restaurant for a while. I am not vegetarian/vegan but enjoy vegetarian cuisine. The experience here however was very disappointing with poor flavours and very basic food dressed up to be more than it was. I really wanted to like it but am sad to say that I don't think I would go back again.
Place is great but service can be pretty slow (constructive feedback)
Delicious healthy food, attentive staff, beautiful space, exceptional cocktails. My go-to restaurant for any celebration.
This is a beautiful space, the staff are very attentive, and the food is impressively presented. But I found it over-fussy, with too many ingredients in most of the dishes, and the portions are REALLY tiny! £123 for four people who were still hungry afterwards is really pushing it, even for Upper St. The courgette papardelle (essentially, courgettes sliced papardelle-style in a tomato sauce) tasted of tinned tomatoes and very little else. The pine-nut parmesan which crops up in several different dishes is an example of the OTT style: both these ingredients are delicious on their own (especially if you get 3-year-old Reggiano parmesan) - mix them together and what do you get? Not much!
So disappointed! The service was terrible and took agea to get our food. Meesed up our order twice then the next waitor just walked off before taking everyones deasert order. Its so sad as the food has always been outatanding at the covent garden branch so we took some friends and tried the islington one and were really disappointed. So gutted as we love Wild Food Cafe!
I loved the interior - very light and pretty. The pizza was generously sized and presented very attractively. Good coffee too.
Great place with lots of yummy nice dishes. If you have many food allergies (such as the case of my bro in law) this place might not have loads of Brunch options for you - but this is if you have like 10 different food allergies. Despite, this, the staff and waiters were amazing at helping us find a dish from the menu that would be right for my bro in law. Thanks!
Great experience and lovely setting. Staff went above and beyond to cater to my complex dietary requirements.
First time in a vegan restaurant and I loved it
Loved the food and staff so polite and friendly
Clean and food delicious
Would definitely recommend
Most ridiculously priced restaurant I have ever been to. Basically I paid £40 to go hungry!
The service charge is also absolutely unjustified (ours came to £8.50 for a non-existent service).
We were kept 15-20 min waiting before somebody came to take our order (which then took another 10 min to arrive).
Our waitress also overcharged us as we had to split the bill, so she had to go around refunding £4 each.
It makes sense that the restaurant was half empty because it was truly an awful experience.
Will definitely never visit again.
The food was amazing and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was surprisingly noisy, maybe because the decor is very sparse with nothing to absorb the noise. All in all a great experience :-)
Absolutely amazing food and equally amazing staff. The venue could have been a bit cosier.
Always my favourite go-to place for outings with friends. Great quality food with artful presentation, friendly and impeccable service and cosy ambiance. Love the kale chips, kale crackers and rainbow cake. And on top of all these, everything is gluten free and refined sugar free so I can enjoy eating out again.
Really nice ambience, good location and decor was very nice. Staff were friendly (who were attentive but not over bearing). Tables were quite close together but fortunately couple next to us weren’t too loud (and I hope we weren’t either) but that could be an issue for some people. However the Food was good - my main from the specials (buckwheat cake) was quite small and could have been a bit hotter but there was plenty of room for pudding (chocolate orange torte) which was yummy. Would go here again but personally slightly more pricey than I would normally pay (£30 without drinks) so good for an occasion.
Service was good. Food and drinks overpriced. A 33 can of beer was £6. Wouldn’t recommend it
Lovely venue to bring a friend who was visiting from France for her 40th birthday. The Set menu had only 1 starter available as the second option was off. No alternative was offered and I find that quite poor for a 12:30pm seating. Maybe reprinting the menu would have been better. The place was very quiet on a Tuesday lunch nonetheless we waited 40 minutes for our starters. Not a great start! The staff (waitress and manager) didn’t actually know what was on the plate or the name of the sauces. Our waitress had no idea how to poor wine but her charm and gentle approach covered it. They paid special attention to us after our long wait and the rest of the meal was ok. At £45 person for a set menu with wine and service it’s a little too expensive for what we got.
