   We had high expectations of this little neighborhood restaurant. 20 minutes after we were seated, nobody took our drink orders. When we asked if we could order some drinks, we were told by the waitress to just wait in a very rude and curt manner. It took another 10 minutes or so before the drink order was taken. It was an embarrassing night as we had brought out of town guests. The food was OK, not great. To top it all, we waited for another 20 minutes to order dessert at which time we decided to ask for the bill and leave since we did not know how long it would take for them to serve us our desserts. Maybe it was an off night. Would we go back there? Most probably not; there are many other options in the neighborhood.

   😔this is how I feel after reading this review, not just because you are right, initially service started slow because we were overwhelmed by the number of guest all at once. I sincerely apologize for the wait to be attended for drinks and if the servers response sounded rude I can honestly assure you she 💯 isn’t a rude person. But I’m sad mostly because of the misinformation you wrote here about the food. Your out of town guest enjoyed his burger so much his comment was “ one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time, when asked the lady at the table if she would like fresh ground pepper her response was “absolutely not this is so delicious “; when I cleared your empty plates, there wasn’t one morsel to be seen. I’m sorry there was a wait for drinks, but please tell the honest truth😖

   Not a huge fan of the new menu items. Bison, duck, liver and lamb constitute half of the menu options. Chose the Fogo Island cod which was overall bland. The only brightness came from pickled mushrooms which were a bit sharp tasting in contrast. Somehow it just didn't hang together with any complexity. Served without a starch option, at $44.00 it felt steep. The service, ambience and, of course, the signature cocktails mean we will still be back, but look forward to different and/or additional menu items.

   A lovely restaurant with good food. Good variety of food and very well executed. Portions are on the smaller side- need an appetizer for sure. Negatives: it’s pretty loud in the restaurant as it’s small and tables are close together. The waiting staff needs for training for a more upscale restaurant- the waiter didn’t know what was on the menu.

   Once again, another fantastic experience dining at Wild Chicory. Alex was great, the food was perfectly executed, will be back.

   Every dish was well done - lamb was a standout. Pistachio cheesecake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Wine list was excellent. Great service and ambience - I highly recommend this local spot!

   Another consistent, wonderful experience at Wild Chicory! Great ambience, outstanding cocktails, and top-notch food combined with excellent service. We will definitely be back.

   I love this place. Food is great, love to sit at the bar. Tony, the owner, is fun and we have great conversation. Little gem in my neighbourhood. Tasted new menu items All good!
