Wild is a small restaurant and wine bar in the regional centre of Castlemaine.
We aim to bring you the best of the regions produce and beverages in a friendly and professional environment.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and we can cater to the single diner through to large groups.
In addition to the tables available online we have outdoor tables for casual walk-ins.

    Loved our dinner and experience! Same noise issue with so many restaurants today - concrete floor, brick walls, no soft surfaces (I know some restaurants put a foam layer UNDER the table tops - makes a huge terrific difference to sound). But wonderful ambient space and decor, menu knowledge, beautiful menu and delicious meal. Totally loved. Jo

    Another fantastic meal at Wild, Castlemaine's standout destination for a special occasion, a date, or just to enjoy superb food, friendly and incredibly efficient service, and an excellent drinks list. Began with the best oysters I've had in years and it just got better from their. One of our party was vegetarian, and he too was well catered for. I love this place!

    Exceptional food with beautiful decor, atmosphere, and attentive staff. We had halloumi skewers, slow cooked beef cheek and the Jerusalem artichokes which were a delicious alternative to potatoes.

    We were lucky to receive a voucher to 'Wild' as a Wedding present and wow what a gift. On arriving we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was presented beautifully and tasted divine. Portion size was just right. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will surely visit again and recommend it highly.

    My three sons my mother and I went to wild to celebrate my son's 22nd birthday. We had such a lovely night. The food was generous and delicious. The staff were perfectly pitched and balanced attentiveness and authenticity with professionalism. We had a perfect night and highly recommend Wild for a casual night out or a special occasion. The ambience is so warm and elegant, which ads to the experience. Couldn't fall this experience in anyway.

    This was our 3rd visit. Service was excellent, we both ordered food we hadn't tried before. Loved it. Of course we will be going again.
