    Service was extremely slow ā€¦. It took approx 15 minutes to get our dinner drinks (glass of wine) ā€¦ Management needs to find a solution to this problem; there were only 5 tables being occupied while we were dining!

    On the positive side, the setting is Beautiful, especially outside on the deck, the food was delicious and well presented. However... - the service was not in any way commensurate with the rest of the experience: items we ordered were forgotten, she neglected to tell us that there was meat in a seafood dish even after we explained that this customer in our party was pescetarian, and the level of professionalism was on par with what you would expect at TGI Fridays; - there were too many items from the menu that were not available (their only vegetarian dish, and several of their "featured" beers); - we were seated outside on the deck, which was lovely, but after we sat for a few minutes, we realized that the chair cushions were still wet from a previous rain, and the moisture seeped into our pants (ugh!); This all would have been unfortunate in a "normal" restaurant, but at an establishment where 5 of the 7 menu items are over $70, we were quite disappointed.

    To start the waiter asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered a glass of wine and he went to get it without asking anyone else at the table what they wanted. ??? We had the steak & frite which came very salty. I had the veal chop which was ok but had no seasoning. The waiter put the plates down and disappeared when the chop needed salt & pepper and there was none. think the entrees were way over priced for the quality and service was very poor. The place itself was very nice.

    Always on of my favorites when in town. The Manager was outstanding with his wine knowledge and over personal Service. Our server Mia and bartenders were outstanding!!! This is always in the top 3 of places to visit when in town ~ highly suggest!!!

    The food was good but very expensive. One of the specials cost $100. The service was poor. Our waitress had little knowledge of the food on the menu. She spent 20 minutes talking with her friends at another table. We couldnā€™t catch her attention to get our bill and had to walk to the front door and hotel manager so that we could pay up and leave.

    I am always perplexed that there are not more patrons at this restaurant. I personally think itā€™s got the best overall restaurant experience in Big Sky. Itā€™s beautiful! The drinks, food, ambiance and service are very good. Everything of good quality costs money, dah. If you havenā€™t tried wild caddis restaurant, inside the rainbow ranch, you are missing out on a great time.

    We had a fantastic experience at Wild Caddis last Saturday. What a gem of a restaurant in Big Sky! The wine guy, Tom, gave us a fun tour of the wine cellar and helped us pair a perfect Sancerre with our appetizers and the scallop dinner that 3 of us had. There were four of us we also got to meet and thank Tony, the incredible chef, who has completely turned around the quality of the dining here. We had dined at Wild Caddis in years past and found it decent but now it's absolutely top notch. We had the burrata/fig/arugula appetizer and also the crabmeat toasts to start the meal. Both were delicious and we would order them again next time. The scallops were perfectly prepared with a lovely creamy sauce and yummy crimini mushrooms. My husband had the duck with cherries and he ate it so fast, I never got a taste :-) He thoroughly enjoyed the entree. For dessert we all enjoyed two flavors of gelato and the quality was excellent. We had decaf coffee and it was fresh and very flavorful. Overall, we all agreed that we look forward to eating at Wild Caddis again!

    The wait staff was excellent, some of our dishes were just ok and for the price point I would expect a bit better. Have been going there for many years and was always a favorite, but I do hope things improve.

    The food was delicious and presented in a very nice way. They seemed short staffed so the service was delayed and not the most attentive but still was good and pleasant. Definitely recommend for a nice evening out if you have no other constraints.

    This was probably the best meal we had while skiing at Big Sky. Definitely worth the drive down the mountain for this restaurant. Initially it was a little off putting as there was no one to greet us and our waiter seemed confused at first that we were seated, but eventually that smoothed out. The menu is nice and the entrees are very large, so come with an appetite. The food tasted very good and they have an extensive and unusual wine list. It is pricey though, and seems out of whack with what the market should bear, but maybe because most of the other options are pretty poor.

    The good: we were given a tour of their wine cellar which was interesting and informative. We had a nice bottle of wine. Our waiter was attentive and concerned. The bad: food in general was not good. Halibut at $60 was overpriced and way overcooked. Stick with the appetizers which were better the main course.

    The service at this restaurant was absolutely horrendous. We had a party of 6 people and every single food item came out 30 minutes apart and basically every single food item was wrong. The waiter we had was beyond rude. Never came out and explained that there was an issue with the kitchen or apologized for the wait. At the end he tried to save himself and say there was a large party downstairs - even though the entire restaurant was completely empty. It was overall a horrible experience with a terrible waitstaff.
