Opening in August 2022, Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar has garnered acclaim, in 2023 being named #2 Canada’s Best New Restaurant in enRoute / Air Canada Magazine and #4 Best New Restaurant on Canada's 100 Best List and securing an overall #31 ranking for 2024.
Vancouver Magazine dubbed it “The Most Important Whistler Restaurant Opening in a Decade”.
Wild Blue is a distinguished Whistler fine-dining establishment that is devoted to Pacific Northwest cuisine, sustainable seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients. It is led by an exceptional team of partners: Neil Henderson, an award-winning Restaurant Director; Chef Alex Chen, 'Iron Chef' and recipient of Chef of the Year accolades by Vancouver Magazine; and Jack Evrensel, a distinguished member of the Restaurant Hall of Fame, who also founded and previously operated Toptable Group. Our Executive Chef, Derek Bendig, adds extensive experience and a classic French and European culinary touch to the culinary artistry of Wild Blue.

    The food was incredible and such good value. We had the wine pairings, too, and it was so worth it. Our server was so lovely and attentive and we really enjoyed our visit! We’ll be back!

    It was excellent. Glad we booked it. Will book in advance next time. Enjoyed the wine pairing and the spring special menu. Every dish was delicious. Some of the dishes are inspirational. Will definitely return when I’m back. Thanks for a beautiful meal and experience until next time!!

    The restaurant was fairly quiet from 5-6:30 then very noisy. Had the 4 course meal. It was very flavourful and delicious.

    This place never misses but the value for money spring menu is hard to believe. It’s just that good.

    What a fun experience. Always feel spoiled when we dine here. Food is still tasty, inventive, but not pretentious and superbly presented. The service is second to none, that blend of professionalism and friendliness- perfect. We will be back soon.

    Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. Presentation was exquisite, taste is excellent and overall experience 5 star. I highly recommend

    Just perfect throughout. We went for the fixed menu special and added a few extras. Everything was outstanding from beginning to end. Highly recommend

    My absolute favourite restaurant experience on par with some Michelin star restaurants for food quality and gorgeous restaurant design! Can’t believe it took us 3 years to discover this lovely gem.
