We were visiting from Bristol, TN. We really enjoyed everything about Wild Bear Tavern! The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Thanks for the warm welcome as well. Great place!! We highly recommend!

Who would’ve thought we find the most amazing German food in pigeon forge we were for 4 nights and we went there twice just so we could sample more things on the menu. The entire staff is so friendly. You feel like you’re there every week. Anything you order will be delicious. We ordered the pork shank which was amazing the first time and the second time we ordered. I had the salmon and my husband had the beef stew both times we ordered tons of sides. Everything was so reasonable and so delicious.

I was looking for an authentic German meal for my birthday, but this was not it. Spaetzle with Parmesan? No! In fact, my husband’s was coated in it, and the bartender/waiter really thought that it was a good thing. Mine, without cheese, wasn’t bad. My Wiener schnitzel was tasty and a moderate portion. My husband’s goulash was tasty, but such a small portion that he wound up eating all of his cheesy spaetzle that wasn’t tasty. We shared apple “strudel” for desert, and although good, was a turnover and nothing like a strudel except for the apples. Would I return? Probably not.

Some of the food exceeded our expectations, some was just ok. There was nothing wrong with my salmon, but it was definitely not worth almost $30. Next time I'll get the pot roast because my mom's was incredible. I'd even order it on a hot day. Loved the potato pancakes and red cabbage as well! Sauerkraut was super strong, but good. The server was fine, but we did feel like we had to rush eating since they were closing. Not anyone's fault, but I just wish there were more restaurants in the pigeon forge area that would close at 10 vs. 9. All in all, we'll be back. It was the best meal we've had in PF so far.

Delicious brunch with giant portions, but what really stood out was the incredible service. Tony was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. He made sure our every need was answered. He even brought my son a. Post breakfast desert to celebrate his birthday. Highly recommend!

The food and service was great. The restaurant was not crowded, and we got seated readily. We shared a salad, stew and cake, all of which were flawless. Pastor was our server, who was quick and attentive.
