Julie and Mark would love to welcome you to our bar, whether it be a quick drink on the way home from work, a chilled few drinks and nibbles with a partner/friend, a clebration with a few friends or a quiet solo drink to soothe the soul after a long week! Much of our food is designed to be snacked on or shared, but we also offer bavette steak or mushrooms served on homemade sourdough toast for a more traditional meal. What a great bar! A real mix of ages with a great vibe. Food fab and a good choice of drinks. Attentive staff who have thought of everything. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent meal as always. We have the same dish every time and have never had cause to complain. Service, food quality and ambience excellent every time.

We visited for a Thursday evening live music night, great experience. Whitings Bar is a small intimate venue and the music was just the right pitch to still be able to talk and chat and sing along. Great ambience, wine and food.

Took 30mins for our order to be taken, once the order was taken the owner said: “Oh sorry most people just come for drinks…”
