    Our server, Danny, went above and beyond to make sure our Thanksgiving meal was special. The mac and cheese and sweet mash potatoes were my two favorite dishes! The menu was already set for Thanksgiving so we didn’t have an option for anything else but the food and ambience were great overall.

    The service was excellent and the location was beautiful. The food was good, but not great. Possibly because it was Thanksgiving and everything was obviously prepared earlier and then heated. We did enjoy our evening though and I would go back.

    White Bird was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the kitchen crew did their best to accommodate my food request. Danny was our server and he did a phenomenal job. The only thing I would change were the breakfast biscuits because there were harder (like toast) than what I’m used to (soft/tender biscuit).

    We had out of town guest and wanted to share the view of the Walnut St Bridge and the TN River. It was a lovely fall day so we sat outside on the patio. The entire experience was wonderful .

    The quality and portions were small and overpriced, service was mediocre at best. Although we enjoy staying at the Edwin, we are not likely to return here for dinner.

    The service, environment, drinks, appetizer, and dessert were outstanding but the beans/corn and white beans that came with two main meat dishes were so salty we couldn't even eat them (and we don't mind a slightly salted items). The piece of pickled watermelon was delicious as well. I am only leaving two stars because I was pretty surprised that this occurred for the price and reputation. I will still try this restaurant again in the future, as it has some wonderful features. I hope it was just a one time mistake with the salty sides.

    In Chattanooga for a night had dinner at the Whitebird. It was a great meal. Started with biscuits and fried green tomatoes. Entrees of pork tenderloin and trout. All was very good.

    Amazing Dinner!! Our waitresses noticed that it was our honeymoon and offered us a dessert on the house. The pork tenderloin was incredible and unique. Love the staff love the restaurant!

    It’s was just ok this time I went. The waitress and hostess seemed disinterested in doing their job. We had reservations and stood there for a long time for them to seat us with plenty of open tables. We split a cheeseburger that was supposed to have pimento cheese, did not have, no pickled onions and the split of fries was not even a handful probably 10 fries… they did not do as good of a job as other places we have been when have split a meal. I can’t recommend this place for now.

    The staff and kitchen crew were struggling on the Friday morning that we went. I had made a reservation, but there was no need since there were plenty of tables available. The location is scenic and the design and decor are great, but our group was disappointed in the experience, overall. On one breakfast entree, the bread was moldy. It was remade, but the accompanying eggs were cold and there was no offer to remedy that. Our orders of sausage were never delivered, and the charges were on our final bill until we asked for it to be removed. It seemed as though the staff were not communicating with each other about any of our issues. We went away with the thought that maybe it was just a bad day for the place, but with the $75+ spent, it is hard to be hopeful.

    Sat outside at table closest to the bridge . The weather was perfect. My wife ordered trout and I had the salmon. Both were exceptional. Our waiter Danny was fun and did not rush us. We also had 2 glasses of wine each. The Ancient Peak cabernet was better than the Malbec offering. It was an excellent dining experience.

    Our anniversary dinner was outstanding; from Danny's attentive and excellent service to each course of the meal. Interesting and delicious takes on the classics: a wedge salad, crab dip, salmon, and a fillet that was perfectly done. The desserts were also top notch, and the bartender makes a great old-fashioned and has a decent selection of scotches, bourbons, and ryes. The weather was absolutely perfect, so we chose dining al fresco and enjoyed the scenery around the south end of the Walnut Street Bridge. Highly recommend.

    Excellent service! Food was amazing. My wife and I were there for an anniversary dinner and they brought us complimentary champagne and a dessert plate with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate! Probably the best service I've had in Chattanooga in a LONG time.

    We’ve dined several times. The biscuits are a fav but for the price I expect them to be fresh. They were cold and honestly disappointing. Entrees we’re good, but not up to par with other visits. Still love the vibe, will be back!

    Ambience was A+, however the food and service was a bit lacking. We had read the reviews and were excited but when we got there it didn’t live up to the hype. Our server seemed scattered forgetting to bring us silverware and straws for our waters. We asked for napkins and condiments 2x. We did look past that because the server was really nice hoping the food would make up for it. I will say the the crab dip was amazing. The salmon was also amazing. Unfortunately the trout and scallops were a bit underwhelming. The outdoor portion of the restaurant sits directly by the Riverfront and the Walnut St. walking bridge… so that definitely was an amazing backdrop.

    Never a dissapointment and ALWAYS a great expereince here. There are very few fine dining restaurants in Chattanooga and this place has it all - ambiance, food, service and wonderful location overlooking the river and "The Walking Bridge." Charles was our server and he was 1st class in every way. Strongly recommended.

    We were in Chattanooga for the first time, and our Son and several friends suggested we try Whitebird at The Edwin Hotel. It quickly became our favorite restaurant of all the ones we visited while in town for 4 days. It has a beautiful atmosphere with a view of the iconic walking bridge. Our server Kenny was very warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and suggested several options for a low sodium diet. The chef was incredibly accommodating and the salmon dish he created with lots of flavor and low sodium was the best salmon my husband has ever eaten. We were pleasantly full, but didn’t want to miss out on their amazing dessert so we ordered the chocolate cake to take with us and it did not disappoint. Our only regret was that we didn’t get to eat there more than once as we dined there on our last day. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend Whitebird to all our friends visiting Chattanooga.

    Excellent all around. My dining companion and I ordered mushroom bruschetta, shaved asparagus and Bibb lettuce salad, a trout and bean entree, a salmon and couscous entree, and lemon ricotta cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious. Kenny was an excellent server, very attentive and friendly and never let us be without water refills or clean silverware between courses. Nice ambiance without being stuffy.
