This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. The food is always delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, local ones when possible. Service is always great as well.
brunch was wonderful!!! food was aaamazing!!!! we will be back!!!!
Out of several items, including 2 of the menu entrees. Ordered a Kettle One Martini only enough vodka for 1 drink, then they were out of that. Our service was good, the food that was available was good. There was music in the bar, but the genre was not inline with fine dining.
The Beef Wellington was over cooked and we waited for EVER for our food and it wasn’t very busy. The waitress told my husband she didn’t bring him another beer that he requested, because she said she “wasn’t sure he really wanted it.”
Extremely attentive waitstaff. Our waitress, Misty was excellent and made an already wonderful dining experience much more enjoyable. The food was top of the line and we would definitely recommend and return here again when we're in the area.
Bar, drinks and music good. Service in dining room started out fine but went downhill. Waiter seemed overwhelmed. We noted on our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, but no one at the restaurant said anything about it.
Saturday evening dinner
Service was exceptional
Sat in bar area
What an outstanding venue and quality experience with great friends. The chef captures wonderful flavors with his truly farm to table creative recipes! We had a party of 8 and were seated in a private room with a beautiful rose wood fireplace and tons of windows to allow us to still feel connected to the larger restaurant. Don’t miss out on the excellent wine or bourbon list and make sure to save room for desert! Great overall experience, highly recommend this taste of southern elegance. PS make someonetell you about the rich heritage of the building!!
Very very good food, service as well as music
Our brunch was wonderful. The food was delicious and I love the ambiance of the restaurant.
It was an amazing evening. We use to live in New Orleans and there is no restaurant there that is any better than this gem! Plan to return frequently.
Not what we expected. Eggplant Josephine was salty but good. 2 fish dishes we had we good not great. Service was very good.
Beyond 5 Stars of Excellence! From the Warmth Welcome upon arriving, the waiter kind and helpful service, the food tasted just as it was presented, DELICIOUS!
White Pillars will always be on our dining list for future visits.
Excellent service and an outstanding menu!!
Food left a little to be desired, something I didn't expect. Everything on the menu looks amazing! The service WAS EXCEPTIONAL!!! Kudos to the servers and overall feel of fine dining. However, despite having a 7:30pm reservation, we weren't seated until 8:00ish. My husband and I split the eggplant Josephine, fried okra, and beef Wellington. The eggplant was delicious, the okra was extra crispy/crumbly outside but not quite tender enough inside, and the beef Wellington wasn't good at all. Perhaps it was because our expectation was of something a little more familiar or typical (our server did tell us that the pastry wouldn't be wrapped around the beef)... but I envisioned a lovely, light and flaky puff pastry under, beside, wherever (you pick the spot) along with a divine sauce, delicious creamed spinach, and foie gras mouse to die for. Our server offered to have the entree split in the kitchen, for a charge, and said that we would each get our own pastry that way also. What we each got was a small but nice looking beef medallion and a messy and minimal scattering of other items. The foie gras mousse was a quarter sized smear on only one of our plates. The overall taste of the beef was just "off" for us. The "pastry" was unrecognizable and the size of a large salad crouton. And the creamed spinach, come on!!??? Well, you get the point. We were excited when we arrived but disappointed as we left. Maybe it was an off kind of night for the kitchen.
Who knows - It IS 2020!!!
insert eye roll ;)
The service was horrible. It took forever to get drinks and refills. Our waitress was absent the entire time.
The service is always great and the Avocado Toast is to die for. The rest of the food was mediocre during this last visit. We will of course come back again to see Zach! He’s always wonderful.
This is the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in our lives. The food is absolutely exceptional the freshness can’t be beat the service is World class and the price is fair for the value!
This is the best restaurant on MS Gulf Coast and rivals most fine dining restaurants in New Orleans. I have been eating at the White Pillars regularly for the past several years and think that it keeps getting better each visit.
Sunday brunch to kick off our birthday week celebration in Biloxi!
Brunch at the White Pillars was a nice sit down occasion for a few family members to catch up with one another. The charcuterie board was a nice start and had very pleasing choices. The bottomless mimosas were a huge hit at the table and our waiter Dylan was a charmer. The eggplant josephine, for which the WP was known for back in the day, was just OK.. a bit salty on this occasion. The Brioche French Toast was EXCELLENT, but on the other hand the waffle that came with the Chicken and Waffle dish was a total fail. All in all, we had a nice experience and the food as a majority was good. This is an expensive place and we knew that going in, so to have just OK food was disappointing.
So good that we decided to return for Brunch on Sunday after having dinner on Friday!
Hands down best brunch on the coast! Fresh farm to table food that is amazing! Wonderful service too!
Awesome atmosphere, food and service. Definitely on my A list for the next visit.
We tried several different small plates, some cocktails, and desserts. It was a $200 meal. The food was very good, but it’s not a place that I could afford to eat at weekly.
This goodie with a crush on farm to table and craft cocktails was so happy! Perfectly prepped, quality ingredients, some unusual dishes. Great service. Perfection.
Have eaten here before and will return. One subpar night's experience shouldn't dissuade others from dining at this fine establishment.
Amazing decor, and creative menu. Drink menu was also spot on.
The service was nice a tad bit slow but SUPER friendly and accommodating. It was very romantic atmosphere perfect for a lovely birthday dinner. The food was good and we loved that it was all local and fresh. We will definitely return next time we are in Biloxi.
This was one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Biloxi.
Food was amazing, service was horrible.
Everything you have heard good about White Pillars is true. The service was attentive and friendly and the outdoor patio is great for relaxing and providing maximum distancing in the current environment. The food was extremely good especially the watermelon gazpacho. Even the coffee was great. Excellent choice for a great meal at a very reasonable price.
Very nice dinner and atmosphere. Was seated outside and the service was excellent. Fair wine selection but enjoyed what was ordered.
Great atmosphere and amazing food.
Food was amazing, best meal we have had in a while and service was fantastic!
Sharon and I feel the service was outstanding, the food as well.
This was an absolutely fabulous brunch! Coming from California, I have high standards for brunch and this was hands down the best avocado toast I’ve ever had! For desert we has the pecan pie and the pastry shell with the bitter pecan notes was just perfection! We had a great get together, our waiter was friendly and had a great knowledge of the menu, and we could not have found a better brunch spot for the weekends! I only wish it wasn’t raining so we could have done outside seating under the awning!
We consider ourselves regulars at White Pillars. Since having our son we haven’t been able to go as much, but each time we go, we love that there is always something new on the menu. If your a local or visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast, you need to make an to stop here and treat yourself for a night!
