   Great food, as always. The restaurant was definitely busier than usual and the staff missed a couple of specifications to our orders. However, they were very apologetic when we asked for our modifications and extremely gracious.

   White Dog Cafe is so charming inside with the lovely rooms, decore, and incredible staff! It really lives up to the hype and I'm so lucky they were able to fit us in especially on a busy graduation weekend. Thank you!

   Great time again at the White Dog Cafe. The food was very good and our waitress was very diligent. We were also celebrating an anniversary and they provided us with a coupon for our next visit which was very sweet.

    Just out for a nice bite on a Monday. We had no idea how much we would enjoy our dinner with server Matthew!! Attentive, professional and personable!! A real plus. Add to that great food, excellent wine and yummy desserts!! Nice to meet Mgr Alan as well. We wiil be back!!

    Service was inattentive and took about 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. Felt like maybe we were forgotten at times. Don't recommend sitting in the downstairs area - it feels hot, still, and quiet. Food was good and that was pretty much the only redeeming quality.

    The food was excellent. The service was very disappointing. There are so many dining options in Philadelphia we won’t likely return. Our food was poorly timed, forcing the entrees to be piled on top of our half eaten appetizers. When I voiced displeasure I was totally dismissed. An offer to appease the error of comping a ‘few appetizers’ never materialized. And the manager and food server gave minimal lip service without any care. Combing it was a Mothers Day celebration intended to dine in a welcoming space with good food, the infraction was rather frustrating. The dismissal was more the deal breaker. Go elsewhere.

    Very busy in the restaurant as it was move out weekend at the college. Initially they didn’t want to sit our large group cause two people were still parking. Which was next to impossible with the movin day on campus. They eventually did sit 5/7 of our party. Food was good not great. Overly priced for what it was. Small portions etc. I’ve been to other white dog locations and had a much better experience. They got a few of our main dishes off by a little bit but we’re able to correct that quickly. Overall I would go back to a white dog cafe just not this particular one.

    The food was cold and stale. We spent over a hundred dollars and felt ripped off at the end of our meal. We were also celebrating a birthday but it was not acknowledged by our server or host. We also requested to be seated in the living room but got seated in the worst and claustrophobic table in the wine cellar. The staff looked miserable and distracted. My fiancé is a professional chef with 15 years experience in fine and casual dining and we could tell the kitchen was mismanaged and unorganized. There was an unacceptable amount of fat in the pork belly bennies dish that was unbeatable because someone didn’t clean or cook the pork correctly. This was our first time here and we were so disappointed with the experience we will not be returning. I understand the restaurant industry is suffering and there is inflation, but damn the food was not worth all that money. We had to go eat some tacos at our favorite place later that day because this place left a bad taste in our mouths.

    We had a 5:45 reservation that specified outdoor seating only due to being immunocompromised from chemotherapy. We were at the restaurant on time but was told that there was no available outside seating and we would have to dine indoors. We had a theater performance at 7:30 and by then there was no where else to go. I was very upset and spoke with the manager Mabel who opened a table for us in the cellar where we would be the only diners. Our server Phoebe was attentive as well as Mabel and we had a lovely dinner and made it to our show on time. The check in hostess was very curt and non-accommodating but the manager was wonderful and saved the dining experience:)

    Sadly, this location was extremly loud, dirty and the food was not well prepared. Overcooked salmon and incorrect burger order. We were looking for a relaxing, yummy meal that we have grown to count on with the suburban locations. This location just lacked professional service, attention to detail and overall enjoyable dining experience.

    The food at White Dog is always tasty, but never hot. Warm at best. And our poor waitress this evening had far too many tables. Did that contribute to the not hot food?

    Have been here many times and love it! This time was the first time ever that we had poor service. Waitstaff initially took care of our orders timely, but then we sat for about 30 minutes with nothing. Large table seated after us and next to us received their food before my party of two. We had to flag down the manager for help, then learned that our order had gotten lost in the kitchen. Food came quickly after that, but we were rushed to eat and leave in order to make a meeting. Manager handled our check, and our server didn’t come back. We noted on the way out that they were serving outdoor diners out front— and we were seated in the back dining room inside. Spread too thin during a busy lunch rush? Unsure. Grateful that I had good company, as the dining experience was uncharacteristically disappointing. However I won’t let one experience prevent me from going back!

    I had a great experience overall & would dine there again. Pros: Atmosphere is amazing, food was tasty, & staff was friendly. They have vegan & gluten free options, which were needed by some in our party. Cons: Service was slow & the prices are high for the area.

    Food uninspired. No thought to presentation. Trout preparation was in some kind of sauce that did Not add anything to enhance the flavor Ordered the breaded mushrooms however not prepared as stated on menu. Specifically mentioned Birthday on reservations but not noted I’ve eaten at the White Dog many times I will not return

    Service was so slow. We waited for a long time to get our food. Our waiter was pretty slow too. I appreciate that it was Sunday brunch but we had to actually have him flagged down for the check. We would have gotten dessert and coffee but we didn’t to wait any longer.
