Cesar salad was yummy.
The orecchiette pasta was terrible - bland, not worthy of being on the menu
Not good value - $$$$$
It was great. And much better than Wayne location in service and atmosphere. Had a lovely Mother's Day brunch. Alex the server was wonderful. thank you!
We had an excellent experience. The food was delicious and the service exquisite.
Waitress nice but seems serving a table for the first time in her life. No bread in the restaurant , 2 crackers for cheese plate (ran out), food cooking inconsistent (rare vs medium rare). Soups were very good. With advance booking there is no reason for this to happen.
Our first experience at the white dog cafe and the last one, we waited over an hour to get food that was flavorless, and below the quality and exclusivity you would expect from any restaurant.
Everything was perfect..... because the weather was chillier than anticipated, we were accommodated for an interior table, well spaced from other parties.
The wait service was attentive, did not rush us with decisions, platters delivered timely with beautiful presentation. Food was excellent in taste, preparation , quality and quantity.
It was an overall great experience, as we all recover from the past year of limited restaurant exposure.
Love the atmosphere, the menu, the service and the staff. It was a wonderful reunion brunch with my eighty nine year old aunt for Mother’s Day🥰
The food was excellent, but our waitress made the dining experience even better. She couldn't of been better will definitely be going back.
The food was disappointing and the waiter was not very friendly
Fabulous service! Food was delicious and ambiance was just darling. Love it here!
Ate in the tent which was very convenient but very loud! Otherwise everything was great!
I love White Dog Cafe but the menu rarely changes and when we were there for lunch this week the service was terribly slow. love the muchroom soup. Crab cakes are not nearly as good at MerionCricket club, Haverford
Could not recommend after this particular visit
After waiting 35 minutes our entrees came out before our appetizer and had to be sent back to sit under lights. Then it took another 30 minutes after we were done our appetizers to get our entrees.
While I opted for outdoor dining, I did not expect to sit in a parking lot with a heater nearby. When asked to move into tented area, I was told it was for larger groups. Only upon suggesting that I was leaving did that option become available.
Very limited menu even though I think they have the capacity to seat more people with the tented area than before COVID.
Probably will not return although food was okay.
The food at White Dog is always fresh and delicious. They have a great musical soundtrack. The bartenders Justin and Sabrina are top notch!
Cocktails very good. Food was excellent although the kitchen forgot to put the crab on my salmon as was described on menu. Our server got the manager to adjust the check for the missing crabmeat. We had the turtle brownie sundae which was amazing! I would recommended this place.
Great spot, extremely popular for Saturday lunch! Quite a scene. Despite the crowd, great service and excellent quality.
Crab cake sandwich under cooked, wrong meal served to another, food took 45 minutes and waiter was inattentive.
The food has gone downhill. Oysters were horrible, service (outside), was poor. Won’t be going back any time soon.
We ate outside, under the tent. Everything was being handled well in terms of social distancing. There was a little puddle next to our table, probably from rain earlier in the afternoon. It actually started to get a little noisy after most of the tables filled up, but it was tolerable because of the wide spacing.
It is unfortunate that the receptionist could not find our reservation. In the end they did but that took 35 minutes. The salad took another 45 minutes to get to our table. The salad was mediocre. We love sitting outside and the waiter was good but the whole service around was disappointing.
They responded very well to COVID-19. The food was very good and the service, as always ,was excellent. It is a solid restaurant on the Main Line and I am becoming a regular.
Quirky, fun place with a nice menu and delicious food. We were a party of four, all ordering different items, and everyone was happy! Our waiter was efficient and charming....wish I remembered his name!
It was an early birthday dinner with my friend and it was the most uncomfortable experience last night. First we was seated right at the entrance of the tent n it was Cold!!! We asked to move our seat n they did which was nice. It felt like they forget we was there and 30mins later after asking, we got a server who looked like he rather be doing anything else but there. We felt so uncomfortable n we left without eating our dinner or deserts!! I was really looking forward to the desert too😥😥
Wonderful food and service
The service was excellent and the food was great. The decor was so cute. They really leaned into the dog theme. Will be back next time I’m in the area.
It was absolutely amazing!!! We will definitely be back!!!
Food and drinks were amazing. Service was friendly and attentive. Great experience!
We keep returning for the food and the outdoor seating, but service troubles persist, and we'll have to think twice before going again. They seem to have enough runners, but not enough waiters. On two of the last three visits, we've had to wait 15-20 minutes for the waiter to make the first approach to our table. The menu could use a few more reasonably-priced entrees for weeknight dining. The $49 filet mignon seems out of whack for a suburban restaurant. (We miss Du Jour.)
Ate at a booth at the bar area, Sam was great as was the food and cocktail.
The food at White Dog is always excellent. We ate in the tent and we were warm even though it was windy and chilly that day. The service was a bit delayed - they were very, very busy at lunch.
Always a great experience. The staff and food are consistently great. Thank You!
The food and drinks were excellent. The service was good, too.
Outstanding overall experience. Wait staff was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. Pace was relaxed, food was very good with some unique selections and seasoning. I have always enjoyed White Dog in Philadelphia, and I will include this location in the future as well.
Service was very slow. It looks like they were short staffed.
Waited 30 min. for water, 1 he. for appetizers and entree came after siting there for 1 1/2 hrs.
No explanation, no I’m sorry we are running behind, waitress overwhelmed.
Very poor service. Tables coming after us received their meals before us.
This was the worst experience we’ve experienced here. Our server was indifferent and inattentive, frequently ignored us. The crab cake sandwiches were soggy and inedible. We asked for a box multiple times to take home half of a burger and never got it. We spoke to a manager and we’re dismissed. We have brunch there probably 20 a year, and will not be going back.
Nice menu, but for the prices of this place it should be better. This is our second time here, and service has been blah. Both times our food came before we had utensils on the table. We had a soup, and salad delivered and sat there looking at it without utensils. The first time we were there the manager was arguing with an employee about making "rollups" utensils rolled up in a napkin. We thought it was a one-time issue and came back because we liked the menus, but obviously, it hasn't been resolved It wasn't a great experience. The greeters and servers were not particularly friendly and we felt like we were an inconvenience to them and the place has an overall disorganized feel to it.
