    The food was mediocre at best. It was too noisy and too cold. Suggest warming the room temperature and lowering the noise level. The server was very good. Did not like the charge imposed for using a credit card. We will not be returning in the near future.

    Disappointed with choices on menu - more limited than previous visits to other White Dog venues. Biggest complaint was staff being melodramatic fake friendly - super annoying. Told server my husband needed low sodium and his dinner came with a ton of high sodium bread crumbs - all he could taste was the salt.

    Dinner at White Dog Cafe Glen Mills was AWESOME!!! We always love coming here, because they are like family to us! Anthony was our server; he was fun and entertaining. For appetizers, my mom and I got the French Onion Soup with all the Swiss and provolone cheeses in it. It's always one of our favorites to order. For the main course, Mom ordered the Caesar Salad. The salad was fresh, and delicious. It was so good, Mom ate the whole thing! Dad and I both ordered the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger, another favorite of ours! Mom says it was one of the best burgers she ever tasted, and I couldn't agree more! The plain fries were delicious, too! The Basset's Chocolate Ice Cream for dessert is always delicious; how could you not love it? Chef Mike is AMAZING, and it's always a treat to see him when we visit. Dan, the general manager, and the whole staff are so welcoming and friendly every time we visit! Thanks again for another excellent meal White Dog Cafe Glen Mills! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

    We reserved on a less busy night intentionally to enjoy dinner with my parents, who are in their late 80s. We’ve had a good experience at this restaurant in the past and we were looking forward to an enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant was hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner, so we believe they were just overwhelmed. Our drinks - only two alcoholic and one mocktail - took so long to come out that the waitress stopped by twice to tell us she was checking on them. Once they finally came, our meals were not prepared properly. My father’s filet, the special, was a thin end cut that was overcooked. He couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. My mother’s was also overdone. Each had requested medium. I ordered salmon, also supposed to be served medium. It too was overcooked and ended up drying out on the plate. To the restaurant’s credit they replaced my parent’s meals and removed the charges, which we appreciate very much. We were just sad that among the few times we can treat them to a special occasion together this wasn’t as special as we wanted. The staff was supportive of our concerns but not entirely apologetic. Our server made sure to point out that she put the orders in properly, and the manager laughed about not being the one who cooked the meals wrong. They never fully apologized for the way this changed our intended experience. I do hope they’ll do better in the future.

    food, service and decor was top tier. Actually the happy hour menu is a great value!!! The regular menu has good selections and it is a higher tier of dining.

    I had not dined at White Dog in Glen Mills for a few years. I like their outdoor dining area and it was a beautiful day, so I booked a table. We were celebrating my friends birthday, which I indicated when making the reservation. There was no mention of the birthday or any perk for the birthday girl. Very disappointing. We both got the soup & sandwich combo. A lot more expensive than it use to be. The soup was so hot I burnt my mouth. It took 10 mins before I could eat it. The Chicken Salad sandwich was dry and fell out of the bread when I picked it up, so I ended up eating it with a fork. I feel the quality of the food has gone downhill in the last two years. 🙁

    I’ve dined at the Chester Springs WDC a few times so I thought I’d try Glen Mills as it’s a shorter drive. Very friendly and professional staff from host to server to bus staff. Our server, Caitlyn, was cheerful and explained different items on the menu. Many unique options. Her recommendations were spot on! She also did not rush us. My sister-in-law and I were able to enjoy our time together. Caitlyn was a gem. I can see why this eatery was hopping on a Tuesday afternoon!

    Had not been here since the pandemic. Scored a table on the patio and the table placement was perfect. Music was perfect volume and open air kept noise to a minimum. Food was excellent and service top notch.
