   My husband and I had a good experience at White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. I enjoyed my salmon but my husband wasn't as fond of his pulled pork. Overall, we really enjoyed the evening and our server Sean, was very attentive and friendly.

   Tonight we wanted to try burgers during Happy Hour. We sat in the bar and Damian was a great server. My cheeseburger and truffle fries were delicious. I took half of my fries home with me. It was a good deal for the price. My husband enjoyed his burger. Then I took a tour of the restaurant. It’s so quaint. I asked Carly about the history of the restaurant and she informed me she did her own research. It was very intriguing. I used to work at Dilworthtown Inn so I could appreciate the history of the building.

   The new White Dog in Chester Springs is lovely and lively. The food was excellent with a very nice presentation. All our dishes were great. There were 3 of us. It was a very busy evening but the staff handled everything smoothly.

    We love the ambience but our food was not warm enough when it arrived. The price tag was a bit high, as well, considering the food temperature and the food purchased, but I guess the cost of dinner is higher than lunch. This is our first experience with the dinner hour. Generally, it was a lovely evening considering and we will definitely be back. It was my birthday!
