White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

We had a great lunch for a group of 7. Our server, Taylor, paced our meal perfectly with no rush and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend the lunch combo!

The spare ribs were horrible. My daughter didn’t even eat them. I tried to bring them home and do something but they were all fat. Disgusting

Our server (I believe her name was Suzanne) was incredible. She was attentive and friendly and made us feel comfortable about taking our time to order. The food and drinks were delicious.

We were celebrating a very close friend of ours birthday. It was her very first time to this wonderful restaurant. We were given a really warm greeting by the hostess and shown to a wonderful table. When Lia came over and introduced herself, she had a big smile on her face that showcased her awesome personality and that really set the tone for the entire evening. We enjoyed our cocktails for a while and then we ordered the pierogies, bread basket, mushroom soup and garlic hummus for our appetizers, all of which were absolutely delicious. When Lia described one of the specials to us, the corn crusted halibut, she made it sound so appetizing that all three of us ended up ordering it. She described it absolutely perfectly because it was just as she said, super delicious. We ended off this wonderful dinner by enjoying the lemon sour cream cake. Kudos to the chef for creating all these wonderful, tasty dishes. Everyone that came to our table to either deliver the food or clear our table was really friendly and all three of us actually remarked on that. Lia pulled out all the stops by catering to our every request. Thanks to Lia for making this a wonderful/memorable birthday celebration for our very special friend !!!

Keep the perogies with cooked cabbage- home run! Salmon with asparagrass was great! The service was very good and was able to anser our questions

Love this White Dog! And they are so good with allergies. My husband can't do dairy and although most menu items are marked dairy the wait staff and chef are very good with offering alterations to the menu items to make them dairy free. My husband ordered the trout which is normally cooked in butter but they simply switched out olive oil and it was wonderful. I also love their non alcoholic drink choices.

Everything was exceptional Chris approached us in the living room area provide wonderful hospitality while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive! Very thoughtful and anticipatory! It was appreciated and Killian was our waiter and did an excellent job job ! We all enjoyed a great Brunch! The food and service are excellent!

Have not been here since it was Vickers. Love the creative ambience. Excellent service. Food was great. Did not feel rushed or chased out too early. We'll be back.
