Amazing staff and service, unique food and we cannot wait to go back for brunch
The menu changes daily based on what they can source locally and the service is THE BEST we've had in Atlanta in a long time. All around a great place.
The Ernest Hemingway theme was very captivating, so me and my husband celebrated our wedding anniversary at White Bull because we got engaged in Paris and visited one of his favorite spots. The White Bull staff was very welcoming and celebrated with us with complimentary surprises. The farm-to-table food was superb-fresh and punched with savory flavor. Cocktails were a bit pricey, but the overall experience was worth it.
Fantastic experience, it was my birthday and they had a menu that said Happy Birthday waiting for me. The drinks and food were excellent and the staff was incredible. I’ll be back.
Amazing! Delicious and elegant.
Delicious, locally-sourced food. We were especially by the 4 vegetarian entrees we ordered. We all did think the music was too loud and we had to shout to be understood. The host was not very welcoming or pleasant, but the bartender and server were lovely.
Incredible cocktails, food, waitstaff, manager, chef. Every dish was excellent.
Really delicious, unique pasta dishes. Very friendly staff, even the servers who weren’t serving us. Explained all of the dishes very thoroughly.
Amazing food and cocktails. Already planning my next visit.
We went to White Bull to celebrate our anniversary and the staff really rolled out the carpet for us! They made us feel so special and as usual, the food was incredible. I love the ever changing menu and the pasta is better than any I've ever had. The drinks are seasonal and fun! They make a homemade tang for one of their drinks and it is my new favorite drink! I can't wait to get back!
Son #2 and daughter in law in from SF for thanksgiving and we wanted to have a nice meal at a new place. This was perfect. Attentive staff. Incredible food. Wonderful space. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Atlanta for quite a while.
We celebrated my mother's birthday here and had a wonderful meal. Meghan, our server, was knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend White Bull!
Food is great. Staff and service is excellent. The only downsides is that it is noisy and hard to hear your dinner partner. The tables are close to each other, so real private conversation is not going to happen.
They could consider putting up noise dampeners/canvas, etc on the "brick" walls to keep the sounds from bouncing.
Otherwise, great place and will go back.
A definite go to for pasta lovers! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, yummy (and unique) cocktails, and absolutely delicious pasta. We definitely want to go back for the pasta flight.
Everything from appetizer to dessert was amazing! So many interesting combinations that worked beautifully. The service was great, staff was so nice and the space was comforting. I highly recommend trying!
Great location, setting and ambiance. We got to the restaurant early for our reservation so we sat at the bar and ordered a drink while we waited for our table. Our bartender made us a witches brew and an old fashioned, tasty. We eventually moved to our table and was helped by Adriana, and had bread and butter as an app and the ochi sweet potato, yum. Both dishes were scrumptious. Bread had some salt on the crust with rosemary and the butter was creamy. The ochi with brown butter was delish. For entrees we split the dry aged beef and the pork belly. Wow. The beef made two ways had this scrumptious red sauce and a green that was sautéed on top. The sirloin was cooked exactly as I ordered. Pork belly was tender, sweet w the taste of apples and Mostarda. During the meal, Sean who we believed was the owner stopped by twice. First to intro himself and asked us how we heard of the restaurant, a recommend from my sister and then later as we left to thank us and both times he shook our hands. A great experience. Superb service and a great experience. Would definitely come again.
Delicious! Unique, always changing food options. So friendly.
This is a wonderful addition to Decatur. The service and quality of food are both excellent
Great looking restaurant in a good location. The food was unbelievable. Our waiter Stefano took the time to explain everything in detail and he was fantastic the entire evening. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Amazing evening.
Sean and his team took great care of my wife and I! The service and the food were top notch!
The food was excellent and the service was terrific. We will be back.
Everything about our visit was fantastic. We had great wait staff and great food. We will go back soon.
Amazing food and super friendly, knowledgeable staff, great ambience.
From the time we entered to leaving the restaurant, I felt I was being treated like royalty. Every staff person was invested in the role to host my wife and I to a truly wonderful evening WITHOUT being intrusive. We had the "pasta flite" which consisted of 1/3 portion of three pastas. It was absolutely incredibly delicious. I can go on and on about the appetizer and desert but want you to try it yourself. We plan to return within the week with an out of town guest to allow him to try our new find.
We've been here several times and enjoyed this restaurant, but it will be a while before we return, if at all. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality of the dishes and the quality of service. We sat at the bar and generally received pompous interactions, if we received any at all. The beef tartar was drowning in sauce and the burrata toast was poorly executed with no seasoning. The short rib pasta was completely unseasoned - we asked for salt and I would've expected in a restaurant like this that if asking for salt, the server/bartender would make sure that the food was up to par, but no one asked if we were enjoying the food. The pasta noodles themselves were too chewy and too thick, though I have always felt this way about White Bull's pasta.
I just went to brunch at the White Bull for the first time after living in Atlanta for over a year, and I will definitely be coming back! I ordered the egg in a hole croissant and my boyfriend had the sweet potato hash. Both were delicious! The best part, though, may have been the surprise pastries that we were served as an appetizer. They were just made in the morning and were to die for. I highly recommend the White Bull for brunch, but I also can’t wait to come back and try out their dinner menu!
This was my first experience at White Bull and I really don't have a negative thing to say about the place. Tasteful decor and the wide open floorplan makes the place feel vibrant and alive. We ordered a couple appetizers, a pasta dish, and one entree to split between 2 people. This ended up being more than enough food, despite the appetizers and pasta dish being served as smaller portions. White Bull is pricey, but you get what you pay for. The fresh and creative food will have us coming back again.
Everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to return!! Ryan made sure we had a great experience.
The White Bull is a gem from the moment you walk in - cozy yet modern ambiance, overall a very trendy restaurant. The menu consists of dishes that change often and contain locally sourced ingredients. Our server was extremely knowledgable of the menu and drinks and provided wonderful selections from appetizers through dessert in the form of rosemary limoncello.
It's as casual or formal as you would like to make it, the noise level is not too loud, but also not too awkwardly quiet, the staff was generous and welcoming and the food was creative and delicious - so were the drinks!
I can't wait to come back and take some friends to try this place out!
White Bull is really firing on all cylinders. The physical setup is really nice - great looking, a lot of energy and lively without being obnoxious/too loud. The food is absolutely amazing and they are giving Kimball/Leon’s a run on cocktails. I was really impressed with the knowledge of the food and wine that our server had and backed it all up with being attentive but good balance in keeping from checking in too much or being too smart/braggy about the food.
So delicious! Some of the best food I’ve had in a while.
Food was delish. Atmosphere was energized. Tables were pretty close together. Servers had great personalities, but food service was rather slow.
Small, intimate, great drinks and great food.
We had a lovely dinner celebrating our anniversary- the staff went above and beyond and even gave us a Happy Anniversary card! We each had a homemade pasta dish and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful food. Exceptional service. Great all around experience as usual. We have dined here several times, and each time the owner has taken a personal interest in making sure our time was excellent. This last occasion was no different. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good food, drinks, and atmosphere.
This is my FAVORITE new restaurant. Chef Pat has an extraordinary talent for fabulous flavor combination that are so well balanced and subtle. It is a gastronomical delight for foodies and the staff is exceptional.
What a wonderful surprise. The menue was so different and everything was excellent.
We definitely recommend White Bull to everyone .
This was my 6th visit and I always bring a first timer with me! The food is amazing, the service unparalleled and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Alexandra is one of the best in Atlanta!
Great, inventive cocktails. Wide variety of excellent house-made pastas. Attentive, thoughtful service.
Went here with friends--group of 6. Service was slow, but our server (wonderful, smart and engaging) comped the bread (which is extra) . We all ordered entree dishes. Everything was delicious, but we all left still hungry. Portions are small. My Black orichiette dish was superb, but really an appetizer portion. The chicken, fish and beef dishes list ingredients that come with them--but in the end--they are garnishes.
Overall, 4 of the 6 of us enjoyed it. The other 2--not so sure. It's more expensive than most restaurants in Decatur. Leaving hungry is never an incentive to return. Note to restauranteurs: Enough with telling diners you are farm to table. It's now expected--especially when you list farms you work with on the menu. It's overselling.
Best of luck to this restaurant.
