Dinner is served outdoors on our patio next to our open wood grill and Koi pond. Seating for parties of 2 may be family style, meaning that you may be seated at a large table with another couple (great way to meet new friends) depending upon availability. Parties of 4 or more will have a private table.
Very relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the music and the food was wonderful. The only draw back was our waitress forgot about us. We would have enjoyed more wine, but we could not locate our waitress. Once located, she said she was helping another waitress. Service is everything, hopefully our next experience will be better.
Casual fun for a Friday or Saturday. The dinner meal was served right from the grill.
We have been there twice and have totally enjoyed the food and entertainment.
Brought my husband for his birthday. Started off great, but then our waitress completely disappeared. We had to ask another waitress to get us a to-go box. We then waiting another long time to get our bill. We wound up having to go pay the bill at the bar. We were not offered desert or coffee or anything. It is a shame because we were willing to sit and spend more money, but our waitress could care less. We do not get out often as we have 3 children. We were excited to go for a nice birthday dinner, which was ruined by the terrible service. We chose to spend our money at this establishment only to have a very unpleasant evening. I will say the food was good.
Was our first time at the winery. Our waitress Stephanie was friendly and very helpful. We had the 10 oz filet that was outstanding. Cooked just the way we all ordered it. Wine was very good. Music was entertaining. Would take our guests there again.
Not what I expected from the description. Couldn’t sit outside near the koi pond and waterfall because the flies were swarming when wine was served. Don’t know why open table states business casual - shorts an t-shirt would have been more appropriate. Filet was good although kind of odd accompaniment- can green beans and beans? Baked potato and salad bar was good too. Not sure I’d go back.
We had a great server, great food and wine and we all enjoyed the Mudds entertainment.
Excellent night out. 5of us had the salmon and one had the filet mignon.
when ordering was never asked how I would like my Salmon. It came and was barely luke warm, and very wet with some kind of Teriyaki Sauce ( Chef's Choice?) which I did not care for What happened to customer choice? Coffee was cold had to ask that it be reheated. Had baked beans and green beans on the plate would have liked to had a choice. My date's plate was about the same, though he stated the steak was tender. Our server was great very pleasant. Dress said business casual, but everyone there was dressed in jeans and flannel shirts pretty much. We ate inside so we could hear each other talk.
I enjoy Whispering Oaks. However, Italian Night needs improving. The salad and bread were very good. The meat balls were not like my grandmother made(my problem) the biggest disappointment was that the pasta was over cook and soggy. The presentation of the choices was not good. Someone waiting on you at the buffet table would have made the dining experience much more enjoyable. I will not return for Italian night unless I'm made to believe changes are being made. I will turn to Whispering Oaks. The entertainment was excellent. Richie Q and Peter are outstanding entertainers. I will return to enjoy them.
Dissapointed this time, Our Food was not. Cook as ordered. My daughter had to send her back, order was wrong. Then everyone was finished eating, by the time my daughter got her food. Wait
ness didnt come back, Had to hunt the waitress down
I have been there twice before and it was very good and large portions this was my third time there, the dinner plates were change out to smaller ones and the 16oz rib eye was not 16oz. The portions have changed, I went to Outback the next night ordered a 10oz rib eye and was $20.00, it was bigger than the one I got at whispering Oaks...Now that the portions have changed, its not worth The $27.50, My family was disappointed
Our group of six enjoyed a fun evening at Whispering Oakes..the entertainment was very enjoyable and it was a fun friendly atmosphere. Having been advertised as having been voted “the best steakhouse in Central Florida, both my husband and I were disappointed with our meals. My filet certainly didn’t seem like a filet and was chewy and difficult to cut. My husband’s ribeye contained lots of gristle. It was quite dark and hard to see at the salad bar and also at our dining table.
Went for Valentine's Day and loved the ambiance. Service was great and the manager was extremely pleasant and informative. Wine was very good. Had the Sangria 😋. The food was delicious to the palate. They have steak nights I believe on Friday and Saturday which I am definitely going to try the Ribeye and they are getting ready to start an Italian night menu theme I believe on Wednesdays. Tried a glass of their port wine and found it incredible. Very smooth. I recommend this restaurant...
My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary here, also I’m not a wine person and the wine was the best I’ve ever tasted, we bought an extra bottle to take home as well, we will visit again on a steak night, thank you, James
Wispering Oaks was a great time. we were seated outside at a high top table with a wine barrel pedestal. Dinner was excellently cooked over a wood grill.
A live band was playing Light Jazz in the courtyard.. Tables were a mix of high top tables and picnic tables with ample dining space, two gazebos and a seating around a fire pit.
We would recommend Wispering Oaks highly. you might even see us next time you go.
And using Open Table wass a breeze.
Always a great experience at the winery and the valentines dinner was no exception. Especially nice choices and the service was exceptional as was the meal. Very inviting and casual dining atmosphere and especially like dining outside when the weather is good. The entertainment has always been satisfactory and enjoyable. All in all a wonderful place to enjoy!!
I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day and it was our first visit for both of us. We would absolutely recommend Whispering Oaks.
This place was wonderful. The drive up to the winery was beautiful. The inside was a bit loud. We had a quiet spot outside by the fish pond. There was a jazz band playing that night. Service was great and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Great for a romantic evening.
Great food and wine along with great service by our server Cici.
It was a great atmosphere with a live band. Food was great, wine was fantastic.
Only thing I didn’t care for was the green beans.
Our server Cici (sp) was fantastic, very attentive!
The meat and vegetable course was ice cold. When we complained after only having a bite we were told that the wind caused the food to chill. The owner told us they have some kinks to work out and if we come back he would take care of us. Definitely a waste of $30 per person. Cute place but they will never see us again.
We had a wonderful evening. Dinner was delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of the dry blueberry wine and bought another bottle to bring home. The owner was friendly and spent time talking with us. The cheesecake was the best we ever had eaten. We ate outside decorated like we were in Tuscany. The entertainment was fabulous and had us all up on our feet dancing the night away. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
We had an incredible time and it was all wonderful. Our service was great and the food was even better! However there is a very large hole with a rock out near your parking area and we did have a mishap with one in our party, as she fell walking to the car in the hole and broke her ankle. So I would certainly look into getting that taken care of. Thanks!!
Our Server was CC was excellent she was friendly, knowledgeable of the Menu we would ask for her again thank you for very enjoyable evening
Being repeat customers it is nice that we have never had a bad experience. Food always on point. Service excellent as always! We have been 6 times, from 4 couples to just the two of us for date night!
It was our first time coming there and found it to be even better than our friends recommendation. We will pass on a recommendation also. We will be back soon.
You have an amazing staff and the speaks for itself !!! Delicious
The food was amazing! I even enjoyed the wine (I’m not much of a wine drinker). We will definitely be going back!
We went on New Year's Eve for a special 3 course meal including wine and champagne at a special price. Unfortunately they were out of the brie bisque (at 7:15) but the alternate of salad was tasty. Our steaks (10oz filet and 14 oz ribeye) were cooked on the outdoor grill to perfection. The desserts (blueberry cobbler and cheesecake with blueberry sauce) were delicious. The mood was festive and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. This place is a winery specializing in blueberry wines. All are great (we've tried several in the past), but we enjoy the two dry ones the best.
The band can be a little loud, but you can get seating inside for a quieter experience. Also, if you go on other than a Friday, Saturday, or special occasion (like NY Eve), you can order from their menu which includes foods like flatbreads and appetizers.
New Years Special. Three course meal, Steak is excellent. Champagne Toast. Fun Time. Seating is both covered or outside, great atmosphere. Blues Band was entertaining. Family (all Adults) had a great time.
Easy access for Handicapped (two in our party). No stairs or ramps.
This was New Years Eve and 6 of us went for dinner
They didn’t have enough plates to give us a plate for the bread and they didn’t have enough spoons to give us for coffee. So that ‘s how we started.
3 ordered soup and it was wonderful. 3 ordered salad and it was just ok. Lettuce looked old and wilted.
1 ordered shrimp and 1 ordered filet and they were both great. The other 3 ordered ribeye and they weren’t great! They were tough and all three wished they ordered something else!
We wouldn’t go back on New Years Eve again.
Love this place for a great date night!! Music is great and the wine is even better!!!
We were out and about for our anniversary. We toured the winery earlier in the day and returned for dinner. Adrianna took care of use. We had a great time. The noise level wasn't an issue as they had a wedding party. Great steak!
Great food and wine, excellent blues music. Perfect night!
Everyone there was very nice and the food was great
The rib eye was to die for and the sangria was very good. The other parts of the "hot meal"were varely luke warm. Should have sent it back to be warmed up but I was too lazy. Jennie was a great server!!!!
This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it! Amazing food, wine and atmosphere. We got there in time to catch the sunset, what a beautiful view. Can’t wait until our next visit!
Although it's a drive, it is well worth it! The ribeye was very well seasoned and it melted in my mouth. The atmosphere is cozy and casual but definitely a place for birthdays or anniversaries. The wines were right up my alley because the blueberries made them on the sweeter end. I can't wait to go again but this time bring friends & family. We sat indoors so I wasn't able to really enjoy the live band. Highly recommend Steak Night at Whispering Oaks Winery!!
Fantastic find!! We ALWAYS have a great time! Love the steak nights, & their wines are superb!! Wait staff is always so friendly and helpful. Darcie is FANTASTIC!!!!
Loved it can’t wait to go back for another great steak night! The place was fun and romantic.
