Must have been short handed. 40 minutes to get appetizers. Our waitress never really seemed interested in letting us know what delay was about. Another waiter was more interested. I had been there before and it was fine. Just a bad night I suppose.

This place is always my favorite. Their brunch is amazing and the staff is always very friendly. I like coming at least twice a month , this time I feel the waitstaff I was assigned could have been a little more attentive but other then that everything was great. All the guest are also very friendly and every time we go its a new experience with a great opportunity to make new friends.

We were very disappointed with the menu selection and the food quality. For a special location it was very sub par. Nothing like we were accustomed to or expected. We do not mind spending money for a meal that is worth it but this well basically was is a rip-off. They are just capitalizing on the location which the place is just a drinking spot. Shanghai Red’s was a much better place. It was very embarrassing to take my spouse here. We spent approximately $145.00 which we could have had a better meal at Denny’s. This would be the first time we would ask for a refund but we are not that type of people. We were celebrating valentines Day. We will not be referring anyone to this restaurant.

Had fish and chips. This place is not somewhere I'd go for dinner. It is a place to get drinks and enjoy the view.

Went for Valentine's Date. Good location. Good food. Good outside area with fireplace.

Only one complain was the greeting host just checked our names and she took off without saying anything, never came back. After spending 20 min on waiting area, one lady asked us whether we were helped and apologized and took us to our table immediately.

So, whoever the manager is, you can educate the front desk people to say "Please have a seat (showing the waiting area) and someone will help you shortly" (with a smile).

The service / waiters were very on top of things.
The food was in short supply. Always running out of things. Lines were long for the grill.
When it was Shanghai Reds, it appeared to be more organized, lots of food choices.

Great atmosphere and food. RUBY was awesome. Her customer service is excellent. She was always at our table and we didn’t need to wait or ask for anything. Awesome service like that will keep me coming back.

Goid food...did the Dine LA menu. Service was fairly slow with having to return wrong ordered items or ask for basics (salt and pepper).

The look of the place right on the water is outstanding. For that alone, it's worth a trip. For the Sunday brunch, though, stay home. The food itself is some frozen crap that feels like a middle American casino buffet that you won a ticket to. Oysters, mussels, teensy shrimp were all frozen and pretty bad. Fun time for the mimosa/champagne, but not worth $45 for brunch from the costco frozen food aisle. I'd actually be open to going back for the place itself, but probably won't get anything more than a drink if I ever did.

Came for Thanksgiving buffet brunch and recently for happy hour. The buffet was extensive and had something for everyone. Loved happy hour. Had Kendall Jackson Chardonnay for $7 a glass, fish tacos for $6, oysters on the half shell for $2 each and short rib sliders for $6. Fish tacos were excellent and tasty. Oysters were small but tasty. Sliders had little meat. Would not recommend. Also had a small chocolate soufflé with a dollop of ice cream. Very yummy. We sat at a comfortable inside booth overlooking out. Would recommend buffet brunch and happy hour.

It was our first time there and the staff was AMAZING!!! There was an obnoxious group that were loud but and the staff were so kind to move us to a quieter area since we were on a date. They even gave us a free dessert!! The food was flavorful and affordable. We will be going back! Thanks Whiskey Red’s!!

We were here for the Sunday brunch - which is amazing! Plenty of options for food and mimosa's were included. Service was great. Buffet is awesome.....Carving table with 3 meat choices, pasta par, omelette bar, a whole room fool of food including fish, mexican, seafood, bacon and sauseges, and much more. Desert area including chocolate fondue. While not cheap, if you are ready to eat and drink, its well worth it. Then, after brunch, go listen to the outdoor music at the wharf....very short walk from restaurant. The cover two hours of parking with validation. $1/20 minutes thereafter. We spent over 3 hours there....without staying for the music.

A reunion of 5 friends for a waterside lunch on a warm sunny December afternoon. Good food, attentive but unintrusive service, boat traffic to watch, leisurely conversation, not urged to vacate table. Couldn't have asked for better.

We had an amazing time at the Christmas brunch, the seafood was very fresh, all the food was delicious. I’m glad I made the decision of not cooking for Christmas and got to enjoy and relax at Whiskey’s Red. The view is awesome.
