Brunch was amazing. We arrived 40 mins early and they accommodated is. Glass they did bc our schedule time brought in a lot of ppl. Food was great and great atmosphere
Ruby out did herself again!
Even though she was in the big group area, she made room for my date and I and kept the drinks flowing and our table clean.
The brunch was very mediocre especially for the $50/person cost. The only great thing about the brunch is that it’s located on the beautiful marina. Other than that, I did not care for it and won’t be returning.
You should add a "maybe" to whether we would recommend. The service was great, as well as the setting. Seafood was first class, as was my omelette. However, fruit and dessert was below par.
We had a reservation at 10:30 but showed up earlier was seated immediately. But our food took over 35 mins for breakfast in and un-crowned restaurant with only three other small party tables. The food was good, fresh and was warm. But when we were about to leave, and cashing out our tab, we paid cash and the returning change was noticeable short. I have never experienced a restaurant that took its own tips for two guests , or maybe it was just our server/busboy Christopher. Very upset about this dining experience
It takes a while for food to get to the table. Other than that...the place was great!
Great place by the marina for a relatively inexpensive meal. Service a little slow but very busy Friday night. Definitely will return.
the music was too loud heavy metal music, not calming
the ambiance and food was good
We went to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. They didn’t even mention it. We were seated and waited 10 minutes for a server to come to the table. I told the hostess and she helped. Someone came to take our drink order and then NOTHING happened for ever. We got up numerous times to get ourselves stuff but I had my two kids with me and they were starving so leaving and going somewhere else would be a wait. We then got a new waiter who was nice but after not ordering for 45 minutes, the food then didn’t come for another 45 mins. Brussel sprouts weren’t fully cooked, scallops over cooked, ceviche tasted like soap. Is this place closing? It felt like they just gave up. We were going to do something special at desert for the anniversary but I couldn’t be there anymore.
We just missed the Sunset dinner. That is a deal. We had the ribeye and the cobb salad and split both.
Did not like the Sofia Coppala rose.
Enjoyed sitting there overlooking the water.
Free birthday entree is an amazing deal but not offering half off bottles on wine Wednesday when we order 2 glasses and would have saved money with the deal is terrible!
I really recommend Sunday buffet.
Cost is excellent, food is very good.
But too much customers.
So, you should book when you go to Sunday buffet!
I truly enjoyed visiting this establishment. I was surprised by the ambiance and the outdoor sitting area when you first walk up. It was a very nice experience. Our food was great, the service was superb, and I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great brunch on a Sunday morning. I don't remember the price but I believe we each paid close to $50.00 if not more for the experience but it was well worth it. The only thing I disliked is that I heard they were able to warm the crab legs when the place was Shanghai Reds and now they can no longer do that. It was fine though because they have warm butter at the waffle and carving station. I'm looking forward to returning.
The omelette bar was great and the chocolate fondue as well
Great stuff. Good things. Neat items.
Nice brunch along the waterway. Good champagne, fun watching seals and pelicans. Great server Maria!!!
31 min before we got served..poor waiter, seemed over worked..overall slow service..really slow
Beautiful setting on the marina. Sat inside because it was cold and windy. Took over 5 minutes to have somebody seat us and another 10 minutes to actually get a waiter. Tables near the windows were never cleared - nobody seemed to car. Waiter was fine, but it appeared that the staff was more interested in what was going on in bar area. Not very crowded and I can see why. Limited menu. Waste of a great view.
Celebrating my 60th birthday with my long time girlfriend
Overall good brunch spot! Variety of food! Great views!
First, the front of house staff was at all times very helpful and solicitous. Nothing bad to say about the service. Food and drinks are on the high side for what you get. $16 for 5 medium sized shrimp in the shrimp cocktail. The lobster roll was okay, though the lobster was a bit chewy, and the roll was too much bread for the quantity of lobster. Our dining companions had an allergy to garlic and were *very clear* about this when ordering their hamburgers, but both came with BBQ sauce, which contains garlic. When recooked, the burgers came out well done, rather than the medium rare that were ordered. By that time they were so hungry they ate them. The third burger was ordered medium, and came out medium rare. All three were removed from the bill, but it made what could have been a lovely dining experience more stressful than it should have been. It's a lovely physical setting on the water, but the food should be better. Or cheaper. Or both.
Ambiance is amazing but food was horrible, not sure how this was on dine LA. Calamari and Fish sticks were nothing but heavily breaded. Clam Chowder had way to much flour, soup was cold. Very embarrassing I had recommended this restaurant
Location is very good.
Food is excellent especially bone in rib eye.
If you go to happy hours, you should try chowder fly and short rib sliders.
I really love it!
The view is beautiful and relaxing. We always sit outside. The Fish tacos, Salmon burger with fries and Organic greens salad with salmon, were all very tasty and fresh. Only one server for the entire outside so a little patience was needed.
No valet parking
Variety of food is down from before and not replenished frequently
Some food over cooked(hard)
Had to keep chasing the waiter for service
We enjoyed our Sunday brunch. Thank you.
Slow service. 7 of us. Only patrons there for 12:30 lunch. Fish & chips so greasy could not eat.
Whiskey Reds did not disappoint for Valentines Day. Victor from the bar was awesome and took good care of us with stiff drinks and good conversation while my wife and I waited.
A large party next to us got all the attention. Our server was nice just not present. Ever. Had to ask about our appetizer. Fish over cooked. Disappointing on valentines. May be fun in summer. To sit outside.
Need to eliminate smoking at entrance.
Need to update decor, that location would do much better.
Food quality could be much better.
There were a lot of big parties which I wasn’t expecting so it got a little loud at times, especially since there were kids running around. However, the food was amazing and our server Maria was the kindest person ever. We will definitely go back again.
Food was great
Although the room was incredibly noisy — very poor acoustics also the prix fix dinner was wonderful — excellent selections and incredible portions... we were even able to take our desserts home !!
Will definitely return in a few months to be able and enjoy the waterfront view 😊😊
Everything was good but the noise level was high couldn't really have a conversation.
The food was good, we went for DineLA, we ordered the calamari and green salad. The calamari was just ok. For the main course we ordered the Whiskey Red burger and Salmon. The burger was cooked exactly how I ordered, medium well and the salmon was moist and super tasty and garlicky. We also had the BBQ and Buffalo wings and the sauce was delicious. The server forgot about us for a while and didn't bring our desserts in a timely manner and brought us the wrong one also. We would go back.
We keep trying this place for the location . We went on a Friday evening for dinner and drinks by the water.
But it has awful drinks, food and service. Our drinks were not what we ordered and they tasted awful. There was no table set up hostess went to retrieve it and never came back we grabbed service from another table. Clam chowder was like porridge, salad was
bland and fired crispy calamari was soggy and oily.
The server was nice greeted us with a smile took our order and then never saw her again. The hostess finally came and gave us our check. It’s too bad such an awesome location on the water in marina del rey has such awful food and poor service.
Halibut was delicious and margarita was one of the best I’ve had. Beautiful view out on the patio.
Self-parking was easy in the Fisherman's Village lot next to the restaurant, and parking was validated by the restaurant. This is always a plus! We sat outside in the patio with a beautiful view of the marina. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. The fish and chips were really good. It was an outstanding experience...felt like being on vacation!
Good food, nice ambiance and most of all: excellent service.
