    It had been awhile since out last visit. Staff were spot on, energetic and friendly. We opted for tacos, pulled pork and fish. Pulled pork was the winner.

    Food was very average. My grouper sandwich was raw in some places, but when cooked properly had good flavor. Wife had fish tacos, where the fish was dry and overall very little flavor despite corn and sauce added to the mix. Had a Pina Colada and if there was rum in it, could not tell. Overall, location was amazing, our server was excellent, but everything else was just fair.

    Beautiful setting on the Manatee River. We ate outside, both times on the man made beach. Foods is good. My husband had the steak. For the cost of it, it should have come with a salad. Definitely go there in the evening time. Good place for children too. They can play in the sand.

    Excellent service. Noise level was ridiculously high. Could not have normal conversation across the table. Asked to have the level turned down and it was immediately addressed. First time at Whiskey Joe’s. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends

    We were a party of 5. Food and service were excellent. Noise level was a bit high from the music, but they did turn it down a bit when we asked them to. Overall, a pleasant experience.

    We had a very nice time with the exception lf the fact that the noise level in the booth by the bar was terrible. We had a very difficult time hearing each other and each of us had to repeat ourselves over and over.

    Food was good. Not great. Just not enough seasoning. Waitress was wonderful. Lovely restaurant on the water with tables and chairs 🪑 n the sand and an outside bar. You can eat inside or outside. We chose inside since it’s so effin’ hot! Went outside for a drink afterwards.

    Loud music, they were out of shrimp and chicken (?!?), fish tacos were mustardy, blackened grouper was very greasy and probably not grouper. The kid’s meal chicken strips was the highlight but you can get that at a fast food place.

    Fun spot to stop and soak up some sun and river views. There are seats outside in the and the sand and indoors as well. They have great drinks and a good selection on the menu. The queso is our favorite and if you are feeling really hungry ordered ground beef on the top--- sounds funky but it is like a soft melty nacho without the soggy chips. You will thank me later. LOL

    Had one server/bar tender serving the entire inside restaurant. So service was less than adequate. Food was bland and my children’s virgin pina colada and strawberry daiquiri tasted like ice water (no flavor).

    Arizona was our server and she was outstanding! Always smiling and very prompt with any request we had! She made our experience very relaxing and enjoyable! The staff works very hard and they are very busy! Kudos to all! Fun experience!

    We arrived early at Whiskey Joe's and our table was already set because we were a large group. So we got to sit immediately. We had a great waitress, she was very attentive. The food was ok. I had a burger and I asked for it to be medium and it was a little over cooked. One of our friends had fish and chips and it was terrible. But, we had a great time, the location is a great meeting spot for our families to meet.

    The ribs were different in how they were prepared and were delicious.(strawberry guava).My wife had the mahi and that was a different story. The mahi was salty and a little overcooked. Sierra was our waitress and she was excellent. Had a reservation and they took us right away. We'll go back a second time and see if maybe the prep on the mahi was just a one off that night.

    Mediocre food especially considering we went late and it was not busy. Overpriced beer. Nice view. Had to wait so long for check I went to front desk and they had to find our server. This is my 2nd visit as I am a local - wont bother again.

    Love this place. But asked for fish tacos grilled no seasoning at all. Zero salt as I'm restricted intake. What I received was super spicy with salt. I tried to eat one but returned the 2nd one. This has never happened before. But will def return...

    Our waitress was horrible she visited twice once to tell us she was our waitress and then to give us our bill. We sat with no one coming up to us for 20 minutes until someone finally said has anyone come over and she got us drinks and took our order. 20 minutes after our waitress came over to tell us she was our actual waitress never saw her again until we asked for our check. Horrible

    We went to Whiskey Joe's, Bradenton for dinner with our son, daughter in law and grandkids. The atmosphere and food were good, but the service was slow and not good. My son ordered a burger and when he told our server how he wanted it cooked, she told him they could only cook it well done. We ordered the firecracker shrimp for an appetizer and for my husband's main meal. My daughter in law and I ordered the firecracker shrimp tacos for our main meal. We asked for extra sauce for the appetizer and she brought a small amount. We asked for extra sauce for our tacos and she said "I just brought you some. That isn't enough?" No, it wasn't enough for 3 people who were having firecracker shrimp. We also kept having to ask for extra napkins. We ordered 2 kids meals for our grandkids. The kids meals were supposed to include a dessert. We had to ask about the dessert and were told that they were out of the kids meals dessert and couldn't make anymore because they were slammed. (It wasn't that busy). She said she could bring key lime pie or a brownie but she would have to charge us for that. Seems to me that if they were out of a dessert that was included in the price of a meal, they should compensate for that. We were not impressed with this Whiskey Joe's and will not be back there. I do not recommend this Whiskey Joe's. The one in Tampa is excellent and I would recommend that one.

    This was the second time I dined at this restaurant. I waited an entire year, because the first time was so awful.  The food is very bad. Nothing on the menu can be altered. Likely frozen and dethawed meals. Dry chewy chicken, dry “nachos” with mostly just chips. It’s a shame such a beautiful location with great potential isn’t occupied by a restaurant with real chefs who cook real food.  Also interesting to note… Although it’s called Whiskey Joe’s, they don’t have any whiskey.  Will definitely not be ordering food if I ever return.

    Great spot for a good lunch with a beautiful view. With construction you still can get here no problem, just read the directions. Signs. Place is great. With so many seating options inside and out. Views are the water from everywhere, feels like you're in the Caribbean. Their chips and queso is an awesome appetizer and we both got burgers for dinner. Everything was delicious and happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 just makes it even better.
