Whiskey Cake - Las Colinas

Service was absolutely amazing. Our waiter, Colby, did an excellent job meeting all our wants. Candied bacon was delicious for the appetizer. My ribeye was cooked exactly to my specifications and was extraordinarily tender. I recommend the Martin House Bockslider to drink with the meal.

The food is always excellent. The service was outstanding as well. Already recommended to a friend.

Celebrated my birthday with some whiskey and whiskey cake. Food was really good, service was great and the pace of the meal service was perfectly timed.

The ambiance is great and so was the service; however, the food just wasn’t that good. The goat cheese appetizer was yummy and so was the short rib, but the deviled eggs, rotisserie chicken, turkey chili, chicken & waffles were all just average. We all had high expectations based on recommendations - maybe too high.

Pork sliders were a little dry...I think they forgot the barbq sauce. Rest of food was great as usual!

Good food, service and atmosphere. Menu is not same old thing. Plenty of unique dishes. Largest liquor wall I’ve seen. Love this places.

Service and ambiance was excellent, food was good, tried the trademark “Whiskey Cake” it was dry and needed lots of sauce and whip cream, pecans were slightly burnt as well, entrees were very good.

Every bite was exceptional! We enjoy our Whiskey Cake experience very much, and will be back!

Went to Whiskey Cake for my wife's birthday. Overall it was good. However, they sat in the bar for her special occasion. My wife ordered tomato rice soup and it was too salty. The waitress was sweet and asked if she wanted to try the cauliflower soup and it too was salty. They did give us a free whiskey cake dessert for her birthday which was great.

I nice farm to table restaurant with a laid back attitude and Texas flair. Whisky flight are awesome as is the food from apps to main and, of course, the whisky cake!

This place NEVER disappoints! Service on point. Food, perfect. Atmosphere, awesome. We live 3 hours away and it was my boyfriends first time. It’s been 4 days and he’s craving it already! I on the other hand crave it all the time! ♥️

Our waiter was so nice and very attentive! The food was so good and you could tell that it was fresh. The price was good for the quality of the food and the quantity. My family enjoyed all of food and the energy the restaurant had. We will definitely be going back again!!

LOVE the restaurant; perfect atmosphere. Outside is wonderful; saw a dog there so very happy you are fur friendly. Staff is wonderful; front end very personable & wait staff is great & super informative and friendly. Food selection is unique and love the names. Delicious every time & prices are fair. Really like that you can make a reservation. Will be back again!

Family visiting from out of town

The food runners and other team members we interacted with were really great, but our actual server was pretty awful. The entire dinner took over 2 hours. We had a great time with great conversation, but actually had to change our plans because the service took too long. Still had a great time and wound up going over to Creamistry for dessert.

The food and decor was on point though. You may have a different experience with a different server.

First timer. There's a reason for no salt shakers on the table - because the food is soo tasty and already well seasoned. Cozy modern rustic industrial vibe, impressive herb garden in front and inviting patio. I don't even drink whiskey but would love to come back again and drink a cocktail just because the menu description sounds so deliciously tempting..then again, every single thing on the menu sounds deliciously tempting. Got to try more soon!

The food was stellar, we had eaten there once before and didn’t think the food was as good as Plano. A couple of hiccups with service but we had a trainee, no worries.

It was a great experience being first time going there with my family we loved it! Especially the vegetarian options they have on the menu. Would definitely going back!

Great experience at Whiskey Cake, menu had multiple items to offer a diverse group, from food to beverages to desert.

System was down during lunch. Waited 30 min to get it resolved and they gave me an option to leave my card or give them my card number. Manager relunctly comped meal after 15 min delay.

Awesome place! I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great meal.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. It was a great atmosphere but more of a feeling for drinks to start the night. The food was just nothing special but the servers where very good.

I ordered the salmon, medium well and it came out medium rare, so I had to send it back. My husband went ahead and ate while I waited. He asked for some condiments and had to wait and ask again. When my salmon came back it was burned.

Service was ok. Super loud. Food was not worth the money.

My friends had a layover in Dallas so we took them to Whiskey Cake and they didn’t disappoint. Great ambiance, great service, great food.

I absolutely love this place. Met my best friend and her boyfriend there for a double date. I had the duck and definitely had the whiskey cake for dessert. A must go for people who have never been.

Our waiter was amazing and the entire staff did a great job of accommodating our party. They made room inside because we found the outside to be a bit too chilly, on a Friday night! Super awesome service.

Every experience at Whiskey Cake has been a good one. This time was no exception. The man at the table next to us was a first timer and kept asking us if we liked our appetizer/entrees/dessert, then ordered every thing we had ha! He was equally impressed. The goat cheese appetizer is amazing, and whiskey cake is forever my favorite dessert. The staff are always super friendly and I love the atmosphere, especially the display up front selling local goods. Great spot for date night or getting together with friends! Plus an excellent bar with impressive selections!
