It was very cold in the restaurant but overall it was a great experience.

Great brunch. Their sandwiches are all superb. All of their bread products taste so fresh. Love that they support local farmers and grow their own herbs. The monkey bread was flavorful and easy to share.

This was a wonderful meal! From our arrival, to our server to our food and talking with the manager, our whole experience was exceptional!

Tried the brunch menu and both items the Cinnamon Pancakes and Monte Cristo sandwich were excellent. Next time we will include a side of bacon to help balance the sweet. The only disappointing aspect was the Bloody Mary drink. It was OK but not something I could recommend or order again.

It was a lovely meal. We met a friend from Lubbock for dinner and a catch up. We ordered based on our waiter’s recommendations (duck, redfish and ribeye) and the meal was faultless. We enjoyed the signature Whiskey Cake as well. We’ll be back.

Seated quickly. Great waiter. Food was flavorful. Drinks were good. Really loved the whiskey cake. Large serving, not to sweet. Wonderful whipped cream. Awesome burger. Interesting deviled eggs, loved the goat cheese fondue

Great food but service was extremely slow, and the soup was cold when I finally got it.

the restaurant was fully packed , they didn’t have tables practicing social distance, no one was at least 6 ft apart, the restaurant was at his 100% capacity. The drinks came almost hot (beer and cocktails) they were sitting for a while until we got them on our table. The food came (40 minutes later) two burgers and potato fries were cold. It was not a good experience and this was the second time we went and had a bad experience. Don’t want to come back again.

Never had a bad experience at Whiskey Cake!! My family would recommend it to everyone.

Love this restaurant. The whiskey cake is fabulous! The fried tomatoes are phenomenal. The drinks are freshly squeezed and everything is fresh.

Food was tiny. It was unique, and well presented. I asked if their comeback sauce and their unique mustard seed ketchup was hot, and was told it was not. It seemed tasty, but ended up very hot on the palate in the end. Quite a turn off for me personally, especially after having asked specifically, knowing my inflammation issues.

The prices were not awful, but they were not low (especially when considering amount of food provided.)

So, though not awful, it completely underwhelmed. Liked the ambiance, but not much else. Also, do note that this is a place with a rather young, hipster type clientele. Can be a plus or minus, depending on your taste.

I have eaten at several Whiskey Cake restaurants in different cities but the food at this location was extremely salty. When asked questions about the food the server seemed unsure about everything asked and did not offer to find someone that would know for sure. Not the best experience.

As always, our service and food were stellar. The chicken and waffles are especially delicious, as was the cauliflower soup.

A must go for all food lovers. The fact they don't have a refrigerator or microwave tells me they are serious about fresh food. To start get the local board or the brunch board (and make sure you order extra bread, you will thank me later). I always am drawn to burgers, the patties are made from grinding brisket in house and the result is the best patty I have ever had. And make sure you save room for the famous Whiskey Cake. It is very sweet and is very shareable.

Delicious food! Great bar selections! Whiskey Cake has an excellent menu. We have had a wonderful brunch there as well as a great dinner. You MUST have the whiskey cake for dessert!
