   We had the best dining out experience in recent memory here. From the Manager to Staff to food and drinks, everything was wonderful. It was Derby Day, so the manager who sat us was very dapper in a blue and black suit, our server was sweet and very knowledgeable. The food... where to start?? We had candied bacon and goat cheese fondue to start. Both were so delicious and plenty for 2 people. For entrees we had the fish & chips and the salmon. The fish & chips was one of the largest pieces of fish I've had and the malt vinegar is infused with whiskey. The salmon was in a tasty chowder broth. The Texas Flight of whiskey and the Julep Season mint julep were so good. We didn't feel rushed with appetizer to entree timing. We were celebrating that I accepted a job offer but 15/10 will be going back, and not just for a special occassion.

   We love Whiskey Cake. This is our second time in a week going for dinner. Food is incredible, whiskey selection is amazing, and the servers are very kind. We have always had great experiences here and will be coming back again soon.

   We always enjoy Whiskey Cake, and this time was no exception. Our waiter, Luke, was wonderful. In general, the service was excellent. Our food was delicious, promptly served, and nicely presented. We were seated by a wait staff kiosk, so it was a busy work area that diminished the ambiance score, but someone has to sit there! We still enjoyed our evening. The music , especially the base was particularly noticeable, could have been lessened. Overall, Whiskey Cake is a great!

   Food was absolutely excellent and the staff was even better. We ordered about three or four different advertisers and all were excellent and everybody enjoyed the meal. There was 10 of us total and everybody have a great time and they put us in the family room. Will definitely be back great experience and memory for the family!

   I am so happy this place is so conveniently located in Alliance. The staff are incredibly friendly from the hostess to the wait staff. The wait staff was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and knew the menu. If you love a rustic, shabby chic, fun and even some elements of modern design, this place is for you. Dress up or down, put your boots and hat on if you prefer (I know I do) and get ready to experience a great place. I started out with the whiskey flight and it was delicious. My wife had a choice from a phenomenal and well rounded bourbon menu and she loved it. The menu is brief and to the point. We had the goat cheese appetizer to start with and it was AMAZING. She had the fish and chips and I had the pork chop for the meal and they both melted in your mouth. Now for desert, that was even easier, there is only one choice and now I know why…IT IS THE ONLY CHOICE. The whiskey cake desert was soft and nutty with lightly sweetened caramel roasted pecans and the homemade whipped cream was the “cherry on the sundae”. Needless to say, we’ll be back again, and again, and again…(you get the point)
