Whiskey Bird is a casual spot in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland/ Morningside neighborhood, serving Pacific Rim–inspired dishes and classic cocktails. Drawing from our founder’s childhood spent in Hong Kong, Japan, South East Asia and along the West Coast of North America, our brunch and dinner menus range from vibrant, citrus-forward, herbaceous plates—like our spicy miso-herb Caesar salad, ahi tuna gyoza tacos, and Thai steak and noodle bowl—to rich, umami-packed dishes with layers of bold flavor, like our okonomiyaki-style crispy Brussels, spiced cauliflower esquites, and brunch bao Benedict.

The atmosphere? Coastal vibes to match the menu—thanks to our friendly staff and murals by Atlanta artist Christina Kwan, spanning the dining room, covered front patio, and enclosed, heated back patio.

Food is always reliably tasty & creative. A bit noisy at dinnertime, but not overwhelming. Server cleared our salad before we were done without asking, but things like that don't usually happen, & anyone can have an off night. Otherwise, this is still one of our go-to places!

Great first experience. Service was amazing with the right amount of engagement, attention to detail, and information to make decisions, while allowing my party to continue our conversations. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Impressed and likely to return!

The service was excellent, and the food and drink options were creative and well thought out. I had the Bloody Mary — perfectly balanced — and the steak and eggs, which were absolutely delicious. The flank steak portion was a bit on the small side, but the flavor made up for it. The steak sauce was incredible — seriously, they should bottle it and sell it! Our server, Tala, was fantastic: knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients, and her recommendations were spot on. I’d definitely go back!

Always good food, but the last few times I’ve been the wait staff has been less than subtle about pushing us out the door despite being there less than 90 minutes and with multiple open tables. Would skip if you are looking to have a few drinks and linger!

It was our first time and everything was delicious- I have been thinking about the steak noodle salad all day - perfect summer day meal and amazing balance of flavors.
