Whiskey Barrel Lounge is Happy Valleys premier craft cocktail lounge & whiskey bar. With a selection of over 300 whiskeys from around the world there is truly something for everyone. Located downstairs in The Valley Public House. We offer an upscale dinner menu that changes frequently with seasonal and daily specials. We have a beautiful shaded patio for outdoor dining. We are open for Happy Hour until 5pm and then Dinner from 5pm to closing, Wednesday through Sunday. Minors are allowed. We are well equipped to host large parties and even boast a private event space capable of seating up to 70 guests, 20% gratuity applied to parties of 8 or more.

    Went here with family to celebrate my husband and I’s 10 year anniversary. The ambiance was great for the occasion. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff was very attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

    Our group of 7 had a great table, waitress, and ambiance. We enjoyed our food and drinks. A little stingy on the wine pour, but others enjoyed their fun drinks. We'll go back.

    This is the best place ever! We don't even bother eating at other high-end restaurants anymore, nothing else compares. The people, food, drinks, and environment are the best the food service industry has to offer.

    This is my third group dinner I can’t stress enough how excellent the service, food and drinks were! Highly recommend, our group had a pretty difficult eater with many ingredient issues and it was prepared perfectly! AND THE DESSERTS…the crème brûlée was absolutely amazing. We will be back👍

    Our first time. We had checked the menu out at their website, but when we got there it had been changed. That was disappointing, but our meal turned out to be fine. It was a bit noisy, which made conversation difficult.

    The food is good but I think if you added fondue it would help.. Everyone loves fondue.. Papa Hayden has a great menu and is universal. Amy, the owner was there and we were very impressed.

    Interesting cocktails and always the best food. Bacon wrapped dates are amazing. We had burgers, Mac and cheese, steak frites and squid ink pasta. Everything was outstanding. Great service too

    Our party of 4 had an absolutely amazing meal out on the patio. Always have an enjoyable time, and that is because The Whisky Barrel has the best bartender,the best hosts,the best wait staff, and Marvelous Chefs. It is truly an art to create wonderful food, homemade soups, and desserts that make your tastebuds wanting more. We look forward to our next visit.😋

    Unfortunately, the Yellowjackets were hot & heavy outside, so we ate in the lounge. As it got closer to 6 it became a little noisier, but not too distracting. We enjoyed our entrees. My wife had the burger and it was cooked just the way she liked it, and the rosemary fries were crispy to the end. Since it was my birthday, I had the Steak Al Forno. I asked for medium rare, but it came out medium. Even so, it was juicy and delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies were great accompaniments. For dessert we shared the Tiramisu which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We’ll be back.

    We celebrated my birthday here last night. They decorated the table for my birthday and brought me free dessert. They did a great job taking care of our big group. We had an amazing time. This is by far my very favorite restaurant around.

    Small location that was relatively busy given the dinner rush. Food and drinks were outstanding, each of the cocktails having unique twists on classics (at least of the drinks we chose). My partner and I split a plate of the Spaghetti al Nero and it was delicious, though smaller than we expected. Overall, highly recommend this place for any occasions or if you’re just feeling fancy.

    If you love Whiskey or Bourbon, this is a MUST stop. Even if that isn't your thing, the food and variety of drinks is top notch. The service is over the top and I will absoutely visit again.

    First time visit, birthday for mom. Very nice ambiance, lovely service and food was good, smallish portions for the $$, all our dinners had thin layer of polenta on bottom of giant bowl with small (but delicious) meat in middle, needs some veggies or maybe mashed potatoes? $9 up charge on my drink because I asked for Tito’s! So my Cosmo was $21! Yikes! I had more than one and didn’t realize. We’ll be back but more mindful of what we’re ordering AND drinking. Heard upstairs pizza area is really good too, we’ll try that as well. Beautiful building and location.

    Whiskey Barrel is the best place for a great dinning experience in Happy Valley. The food is always amazing, the service top notch, and the outdoor seating is lush, quiet and relaxing. Inside is a bit more energetic, with music, happy people, and cheers all around. The decor is beautiful wood work and soft cozy seating. Whiskey Barrel Lounge is our favorite place to go for a lovely dinner with friends, family, or just the two of us!

    We made group reservations to celebrate a birthday party and had 16 people. Overall our visit was wonderful! The staff was extremely accommodating and kind. While we had expected a fairly large party a few unexpected people had shown up at the last minute and were accommodated without anyone noticing! As well the kitchen staff pumped out all of our meals fresh, hot and at the same time. The wine we requested was out however the staff made a great second option suggestion. We all enjoyed our evening together and time at WBL. Thank you so much for making my best friends birthday a special one!
