The service was fantastic!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful lunch, we had an amazing time❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Repeat customers. The food was very good with the raw oysters, cauliflower appetizer and lobster entree being outstanding. We sat at the bar where the services was also great. The staff didn't "hover" but were there when needed. If you don't see something on the menu you like, including fine wine, just ask. You might be pleasantly surprised.
This was my first time at W&O and I really enjoyed it. I went would a group of friends for brunch and it was so delicious. I had the whiskey skillet and the potatoes in particular were so yummy. The coffee old fashioned is also not to be missed.
I can't wait to come back for Happy Hour outside which I've heard is a must during good weather.
Always fresh seafood. Servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t miss the bread pudding with fresh fruit and ice cream— the best!!
We did brunch and it was tasty! Highly recommend the beignets!! Drinks were wonderful. Atmosphere was enjoyable, bright, and clean. Our group had a lovely time chatting and spending time with laughing.
The NYE menu was exquisite. A beautiful balance of foods and textures and tastes. The folks who work there ate like family to everyone they meet.
We came for the New Years Eve experience… 5 course chef choice!!! It was different yet very tasty and overall great experience!
The NYE dinner was ok. Nothing all that special. My sea bass was cold and the grilled octopus was very tough. However, at different times, Ive had your New England clam chowder which was EXCELLENT and before Covid you used to serve a fantastic bouillabaisse! I so wish you would put it back on the menu! Whenever I’m in the area, I stop in to see if you have.
New Years Eve five-course special menu by Chef Mason was incredible!
The “experience” as advertised was way below expectations maybe one of the courses were edible and at that I would not have fed that to a street dog.
Stick to whiskey and oysters or replace your chef.
This place is amazing! Super kind staff, great menu, awesome specials (Whiskey Wednesday!), and nice ambiance. We especially loved the Kung Pao cauliflower, mac and cheese, clam chowder and the oyster selection. As residents of Alexandria we plan to become regulars. Delightful! 😊
Thus restaurant consistently delivers on the quality of food and service,
The chipotle bourbon oysters were to die for, and the cran rosemary mimosa was delicious and refreshing.
Great team wonderful food. Excellent service
The food was great. The service, once seated, was also top-notch. The only hitch was the “wait to be seated” for 5-10 minutes (in a half-empty restaurant) because the host/hostess was nowhere to be found.
I certainly go back.
The team was amazing and felt very taken care of!
Waited at least 20 minutes to order 1st round of drinks, wife’s food was served cold, they ran out of the alcohol I was drinking, and charged me for a drink I never received. Very Dissapointed!!
Oysters with family member
Great food, great drinks and great friends!
It was my first time at this restaurant and likely my last. The music was so loud that it was hard to hear my guests at the table.
Out of Oysters on the menu, no ice in drinks. Food was excellent!
Whiskey and Oysters is always a nice relaxing place to eat. The variety of food is great along with the drink selection. Whether you choose to eat outside, at the bar, or a booth you're sure to have a great time.
Great food. Excellent service.
Sides were cold, they brought us out whole new entrees and sides were still cold and I had hair on my second dish. Management never came back over to apologize or make it right.
Great food. Wonderful service. Great shuckers
Very poor quality food. The best part of the experience was the service
Cute local date night location with decent drinks. The service was good and attentive, however my lobster was overcooked, and the 4 medium sized potatoes were undercooked, that I had to request for a substitution of fries instead. The huge potatoes to me in terms of presentation, overshadowed the rest of the plate. Front desk was friendly, and helpful.
I love sea food and this clean restaurant was a great place to go. The booths are taller for privacy and covid partition. The food was great. The oysters are large. The oyster shooter did not disappoint. The shrimp and grits was perfect. The kids menu is plenty and it must have been good, since my picky eater demolished it. We didn’t leave room for dessert.
Great appetizers, excellent oysters, impressive list of local! And international whiskeys. VERY tasty desserts!
Great food. Excellent service.
Great atmosphere, with quality food and good customer service.
My wife and I frequent Whiskey & Oyster quite a bit. On this last visit we were there for the $1 oyster night.
Our server however informed us the we could only receive the $1 oysters if we ordered an “Alcoholic Beverage.” This is pretty deceptive….
The online menu doesn’t make any reference to the requirement. The menu they had on the table reads “$1 Raw oysters with purchase of beverage.”
The server insisted it had to be an alcoholic beverage. Neither my wife or I are drinkers so requiring guests to purchase an alcoholic beverage is ridiculous.
The cheapest alcoholic beverage on the menu are beers which run $6.25. May as well call it $7.25 Raw Oyster night.
We ended up ordering an alcoholic beverage that sat on the table and went to waste because no one drank it. In the end this only benefited the server by raising the bill.
We ordered two dozen oysters, soup/salad and two entrees. That should have more than qualified us to receive the $1 oysters.
We will certainly be back because it is a great neighborhood spot. However, I would ask for W&O to revisit their $1 oyster night policy.
Terrific oysters and great service. We might have been a “difficult” table, but the staff was responsive and gracious.
Their Taco specials are very reasonable and being able to sit outside is a real asset, especially on a nice day
W&O was busy for brunch which was great to see. The food was excellent. All 5 of us enjoyed our food. I would recommend W&O and we will be back!
A little hidden gem...variety of oysters were excellent!
Greet place for drinks with friends or a private romantic dinner. Great ambiance.
The food and service was great!
As usual, everything was great! Great food and wonderful service!
