We serve a seasonal, monthly menu and pour delicious wines and craft beers. We're incredibly passionate about our food and use quality, locally sourced produce where possible. Our menus include dinner, a daily set lunch, weekend breakfast and our well-loved Sunday roast menu. Our bar and bistro is a relaxed environment where you can enjoy an excellent meal or perhaps just a few drinks in the bar over a plate of cheese and charcuterie. Chef Patron Jonnie Cook has worked with some of the best chefs in the business and we all look forward to your visit.

Good if limited food and drinks menu. Good wine list. Friendly if sometimes haphazard service. Was a bit quiet for a Saturday evening. All in all a solid 4 star evening. Good but not amazing.

Food is excellent, as always. Never had a bad or even average meal here. Sunday lunch is exceptional value and portions are excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive. Service is not fast but all the food is freshly prepared and worth waiting for.

Food is a bit pricey for a bistro/bar but it was very tasty and the menu was good and varied. Service was great and the place has a nice vibe. Service charge of 10% is automatically added to the bill but you can request this be removed if you'd rather tip independently or indeed not at all.

Nice table. Friendly waiters. Food was good quality and tasty although the mackrel starter portion was minute. More mackerel please! Pulled pork Scotch egg was excellent. Steak was full of flavour although again on the small side with plate filled up with chips. Dish of the day of halibut sounded great but over priced at £36!! Generally pricey

We went for lunch, midweek. It was excellent. Great food with a good choice for a set menu. Very recommended.

Constantly well made, interesting and original dishes. Whiskers is our regular local choice and we are never disappointed. Good value too with options suc as the Wednesday "Steak Night".

We enjoyed our family reunion with you. Very nice staff, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Slight disappointment as we were hoping for more typical French food, but we all enjoyed what we ordered.

We had heritage tomatoes and chicken terrine to start, then haddock and chips and smoked haddock for our main dishes. Both were excellent. The service was efficient and polite, but not at all intrusive. Overall a really good, much enjoyed lunch!
